Can I exclude apps from task killer? - Huawei P9 Lite Questions & Answers

I've searched for this option anywhere, but I just can't find it. Is there an option to exclude apps from the task killer? Thanks

Close applications on desire hd

Did anyone knows how can i close the open applications on desire hd ????
Applications doesn't close..Simply press Home button
Read this for more infos http://lifehacker.com/5650894/andro...ed-what-they-do-and-why-you-shouldnt-use-them
especially the "How Android Manages Processes" paragraph
If you really want to close apps you could get yourself a task killer like Advanced Task Killer, or go to Menu > Settings > Applications > Manage Applications and force close any app you want.
However, force closing your apps is not recommended and not necessary on Android.
You can also check how much memory each app is using by going to Menu > Settings > Applications > running applications
thanks all of yoy!!!

defaults

can anyone tell me how to set or remove app/program defaults please?
unsure what you mean be app defaults. If you mean to change preferences and settings that affect specific app functions, then i'd first try the menu button while the app is open and in focus. It's the capacitive button to the left of the physical home button below the screen.

Click to collapse
settings -> applications -> Manage Applications -> (select app) -> clear defaults.
will remove that program from being automatically selected for a particular action.
i.e. homebutton's homescreen, or the program used for internet links, etc.

(question) disble TaskManager from closing certain apps?

I want to set up the tablet's local TaskManager from closing out certain apps, when I do "clear data" or "close all apps". I know that when you are running s-note, it doesn't appear in TaskManager. Is there a way I can give that property to other apps, or stop them from closing when I do general close-out on TaskManager (and instead, close those apps when I go into some sort of "advanced close-out", which I am not sure is even is the Note 10.1's local TaskManager settings).
Mostly, I want to keep SnapPad & N-Launcher on. I close out stuff with task manager quite frequently, so it gets pretty annoying.
THANKS! would appreiciate any tips you got! I'm sure there are many other users eho would greatly benefiet from this sort of function.
I use the switchpro widget... It let's you exclude apps from its task killer

Disable/Remove Daydream completely,

Nexus player rooted on latest CM build 12/23/15. ( cm-12.1-20151223-NIGHTLY-fugu.zip )
I want to disable/remove daydream completely, I don't need nor want to use it. It doesn't seem to have an option to turn off completely, only delay up to 1 hour max.? I use an app 24/7 on this (thinkorswim) but yeah.. daydream gets in the way every hour and have to wake. Any clue? Hoping for a possible quick command line fix. Thanks
* Yes, I have sleep mode off in the dev settings, I just want to remove/disable daydream.
Kind of hilarious nobody has a clue how to disable a screensaver... Interesting issue
Menu Button -> Manage Apps -> Swipe to "All" -> Scroll to "Basic Daydreams" -> Tap on it -> Tap on the button on the top right "Disable" near the button "Force Stop" on the left.
You can uninstall using any app in the Google Play Store with the search key: "Root Uninstaller"
Since it´s a system-App you may encounter problems with daily usage of Android if it´s missing.

Disabled apps not showing in application manager

I have disabled the stock messaging app on my Samsung Galaxy S7 Edge as I have been using Textra instead.
However I now want to enable messages again but have found that its not showing in the disabled apps in the application manager.
I have followed these steps but as I said, there are no disabled apps showing. I'm running Android 7.0 and not rooted. Anyone have any ideas how to fix this please??
Launch the Settings Application.
Scroll Down and Tap on the 'Applications' Option.
Then Tap on the 'Application Manager' Option.
Tap the 'All Apps' Drop Down Menu.
Tap on the 'Disabled' Option.
Locate and Tap on the Application You Want to Enable.
Then Tap on the 'Enable' Button.
Did you disable it in the app manager, or using a third party tool like Package Disabler?
