hello guys i want to know if samsung would release android nougat update for tab a 8.0 smp350 ?
Is it possible to flash sm p355/t350/p550 official firmware without killing the device ?
Hi! for the moment there's no update to android 7 that works with our device. You can flash Jazzrom V5 but wifi and spen are not going to work. Other than that the ROM works perfect.
I don't think Samsung will release an update for P350, seems it's not popular enough to deserve it...
There are no Android oreo custom roms for Samsung Galaxy s4 (i9500) can we expect a new oreo rom devs??

Kongakute was working on "resurrection remix" for 8.0 but about three months ago I had to give notice that I had to stop because I had to study hard. Hopefully, there will be some progress soon. If not we will be forgotten and stuck in Nougat 7. Greetings. :good:

Is "resurrection remix" for Android 8.1 for Samsung Galaxy S4 (i9500) available now?
I searched xda but the latest I could find is still Nougat 7.

I understand that no. Our beloved GT-I9500 left in the abandonment before the impossibility of making work correctly a driver that samsung never released and that's why it was almost impossible to get anything even stable.
will note fe get android P? note fe is launched after the launch of s8 / + and before note 8, so I think note fe is entitled to get android P, do you think?
I dont think so. Its not even 8.1. Very sad.

Any Samsung devices get Android 8.0. will go up to Android 9.0 or stop at 8.0. It happened when Android 7.0 7.1.1.

I don't think, that the Note FE will get Android Pie (9.0) officially.
But i think that LineageOS 16 will get out for the Note FE - unofficial way; void guarantee -> but it would work.
The S7 also got LineageOS 16 (Android Pie 9.0) so i really think that it will get it.

Or maybe not. Bcz of limitation of sold Note FE, the community doesnt big like S7e, like u see there is only few rom and kernel that based on stock rom. So for Lineage OS i think there likely wont be exist for Note FE. Or if it exist, the rom wont get best support from dev.

i planned to use my note FE until 2020. So a late Pie update is better than no update at all.
also, I hope that Note FE will also get the new One UI coz it was launched after S8/S8+ and the hardware is more than capable.

This phone is a ( FAN EDITION ) phone, I hope Samsung knows what is that means!!
I think they must upgrade it twice at least (Oreo and Pie) and of course with the new (ONE UI)....
Can it be easily ported to s7edge since both have the same hardware?
S7 and Note FE both have same chipset and stuff inside, if you get Pie update, we get it too, and if you want LOS 15.1 (very stable) or LOS 16.1 (BETA but good) you can port them from our device easily. You just need at least one developer in the Note FE community to do the stuff

Hey Guys, it's possible to port a custom rom of a device with same/close specs as yours?
Some Years Ago i've got a Samsung Galaxy Tab 4 7.0 with Digital TV, a kinda old device i dont use anymore, but today i was wondering if i could give a new life to it...
Then i started looking some threads here and in other forums and i learned that is possible to port, but the question is: My tablet Samsung T230NT is stuck at 4.4 while Samsung T330 with same chipset has a official 5.1 and some custom roms with lollipop and even MM... How can i use them as a "base" to update my device?
Just remembering: My device is not the Standard Galaxy tab 7.0 t230 that comes with the Marvell chipset... Mine is the t230nt with a qualcomm snapdragon 400, just like the Galaxy tab 4 8.0 t330
I Just wanted to somehow put this rom on my tab 4 7.0 tv, is it possible?

It's only my second post. I bought the above tablet, and I wanted to ask you what would be the prospect for availability of a Custom ROM for this device? I see that people are working on Lineage OS for the wifi version:

Considering that this tablet came out only last year, is it a question of patience, and a Custom ROM would definitely be made available in due course? Or it depends? What is the likelihood?
How long does one need to wait, on average?
I ask this, everyone, because I thought if a Custom ROM may never be available for this tablet, then I might as well sell it since I don't use it.
I recently managed to install e foundation Custom ROM onto Moto G4, and now feel that is the only way that would feel comfortable.

Are Custom ROMS rarer for tablets? Is it more difficult to make LTE tablets function as phones?
