MIUI Beta Team members can get the OTA update as usual. After the successful cycle of beta testing prior to the release, it will be release for the public. Beta testing is the last stage of testing, and normally can involve finalizing the beta test for real-user exposure. So stay tuned.

So I will admit to some confusion due to the state of development of MIUI ROM's and their AOSP support. Anyway, I'm wondering about the weekly developer ROM from here, as it has not been updated in a couple of weeks at least. In the case that this is normal, I'm perplexed at the term 'weekly.'
So,
1.) Is this link the location of the official global ROM for the RN2, and
2.) What is the normal update schedule for this?

2) The global weekly isn't updated weekly but every 2-3 weeks

I would never use it i would stick to CM 14.1.

One of the beta-team admins says to me: wait for 6.12.22 update, its possibly will be on Android 7.0 [for now Mi5 has 6.12.15 with Android 7.0 Beta build]

I was about to point out this. They have released 6.12.22 but still prime is still on 6.12.8

Well the mi max prime hasn't got it's weekly miui en update this week... So hopefully that means that we will get the nougat update very soon

They are recruiting beta testers. that means development stage is over. for the last two weeks the beta builds have not been rolled out for mi max hydrogen as well as helim. Let us hope that we get Android N soon

Well if you read the 7.0 beta thread you'll see that the deadline is 31/12/16 and first beta will be a week after closing date

mobile data problem
anybody here also having trouble with mobile data connection with this phone mi max? im struggling to find a solution for this problem. i can browse using mobile data for several minutes, after that my network drops and not recieving any data connection.

They said it will be in Q1 2019 early last year. Now it's delayed again. With tons of new device line redmi6, redmi 7, poco, mi a2 etc. I doubted we will get any Pie for sagit. Go custom since most Pie rom has already stable.
According to miui.com admin android P for Mi6 is now in internal testing so Q2 is possible.
"9.4.11 was the last Weekly for Mi 6 that's based on Android 8.

Global beta for mi6 is suspended because they are testing android pie. Finally great news but its interesting how things look with widevine drm, camera api 2 and project treble. I think nothing will be change in this aspects.

These two devices will no longer support subsequent version upgrades. At the same time, we have also prepared a stable version of the upgrade program, Mi fans can keep the development version or schedule an upgrade to the subsequent MIUI 10.3 stable version (expected to be released in April).

No idea but seeing the huawei/honor updates I think EU most probably will get it.
Just to let you all know, seems like fut ota's are rolling out in Europe (couldn't join mine sadly, only 7 spots in total)
