Not trying to be a smart ass but I put the page plus LTE SIM card in and that's it it worked and for some reason tethering started to work too.

Was your phone on 5.1 when you activated on page plus? I activated yesterday but the phone won't stay connected to the network. It will say verizon wireless with some bars and a exclamation point for a minute then it will just go to no bars and searching for service.

the activation went smooth but the phone won't stay connected to Verizon network service. I put it on airplane mode for a few seconds, go back to mobile data and it will say Verizon wireless again for a few seconds but then it will just go back to searching for service. Do you have any idea why this is happening? Thank you for your help.

Check your network settings see what network is set... should be lte/cdma also check your APN

Thank you for your help. After taking out my sim and re-entering it a couple times, everything is working fine. The service is very good.
Is it possible to lock in LTE only with quicker refresh? I am on PIA T firmware rooted. There is a new GravityboxMM out and has a smart radio feature and looks like it can be done but havent succeedded yet. Can it be done from 0011 menu?

After updating to Android nougat (7.0)
There is no option to make network 2g.
I'm on stock based rom and on Indian variant.
I have two sims first one uses 4g/3g and the second one is by default 2g.

When using two sims I can't change to 2g for 2nd sim. It's faded out . Any help?
I am having very bad 3G signals in Airtel and hence battery drain.

I could only change the settings of first sim. So it kind of works for those who only uses 1 sim card only.

Is it possible to have wi fi calling on the S5 without verizon? I want to try enabling it and if not is there any other way to do so because i have page plus instead and it runs of verizon networks
