There is a person giving away their $50 off code over on the ZTE USA Forum.

Umm... Have you looked at Amazon or Best buy or Newegg or BH photo or even Swappa?

The phone is out of stock everywhere. Doubt there's any sales or deals if it can't be kept on the shelves.

Just ordered from newegg
Newegg include some headset with it... They are probably crap, but nothing beats free.... ? I will need a bit to receive it.... Eta Sept 9

Not to be harsh but you probably should have pre-ordered it back in July when tons of places not only had guaranteed stock but also had deals with various credit and/or bundled items. Now everywhere is out of stock until mid September, if not worse. Personally I think it is already a deal at $400, especially if you can get it somewhere tax-free, like Amazon.

Yes, I ordered from Newegg as well. Being a premier member I order from them a lot anyways, so the headphones are nice bonus.

Just for the record, I didn't preorder mine on Newegg until 8-13, It shipped on 8-15 and I received it on 8-17.
Also I got the free Monster headphones and they are pretty nice and sound amazing. I wouldn't buy them because I don't have need for them but like someone said earlier, nothing beats free.

thats not really sold by amazon though, thats just being sold through amazon
Your right. I didnt notice they were private sellers...

Hello folks!
Is there anything wrong in getting it from Amazon - US, even if its private seller?
I was thinking of ordering it from Amazon for two reasons:
1. Using Amazon's 12 month interest free finance option
2. At least initial return (within 7 days) would be easy, IF something is wrong with the device?
Any thoughts?
Thank you!
I have been watching amazon resellers and considering them. Most of them are on ebay too. But see my other thread--for a 790 price expansys usa has the device in stock and they have a better return policy--that I would trust more IMHO.

Yes, i did your post about them. I guess I should order it from Expansys-US. Just wanted to take advantage of without interest 12 month payout from Amazon.
Thank you again!
Just ordered mine through another seller (Techno.Trading.House) on amazon for 770+8 for expedited shipping and i used my store card for the 12 month financing.

Hey,
Do you know if they have EU version or any other? I've sent them an email, I've not received any replies yet.
Thanks
It dropped to $794 + free shipping. Sold by Expansys via Amazon

After multiple delays they canceled my order so I just went and got it from newegg. Since it came from Jersey to Maryland I got it the next day. Loving it so far.
Got mine at eBay from networkgurus for $749, it just dropped to $729. It ships from Georgia. The seller was very prompt with his emails. Ordered yesterday and got it today B)

4/11/12 For 24 hours, new Xoom's for $329.99 & $4.99 shipping

On 1saleaday.com, I just saw they have new Xooms for $329.99. I bought a Lapdock for my Bionic last week for $80 from them, among other things in the past. I've had good luck. No idea about warranties though.
That's a pretty good price...if I didn't have one I'd jump on it.
I bought mine from them about a month ago when they were $399. It takes about 2 weeks to get it, its also a refurbished model and they give you a 90 day warranty. It works great for me so far I recommend grabbing one if you don't have one.

Is this deal legit, or a scam? I'm a little cautious of deals that seem too good to be true.

You realise that the 16GB one is going to be £159 within 2 weeks?
Looks likely anyway
I bought one now at this price because I can't wait 2 weeks
In fact It's belive Monday 29th is the announcement for the 32GB N7 both with and without 3g as well as the Nexus 10, so it seems.
I was in Currys on Saturday and the N7 was £189 then. So another £10 drop in a day!?
I might believe the Verge if they could spell rumour properly..

Tiger Direct usually has quality refurbished products.
And, they come with a warranty.
Just cause it's a refurb, doesn't mean it's crap.

I never said that refubs are crap. I have no problem with refurbs and buy them a lot.
The only reason I said anything was because the OP said they were brand new.

Im pretty sure that the 199 price was a short term deal that has expired and it went back to its original price.
I do remember that when I first say this it was for 199.
Speaking of buying a Nexus 7, last year I remember I was searching in a web site for stores that sold, for example, the Nexus 7.
It works like this: I selected the city and enter the product I was looking for, and the result was a list of stores showing the product, the address of the store and the available stock.
The problem is, I can't remember witch web site is this! I spent over 3 hours yesterday trying to remember...
I'm going to USA this year and want to buy some things.
Can anyone help me?
Thanks!

The 'waiting for my Nexus 7 (2013)' thread

Hello guys!
So I ordered the device on Ebay yesterday and since then I'm waiting and reading all the topics here, educating myself and preparing for what to expect from my N7 when it arrives.
As it will be a long wait (it has to ship through half the world) I'm creating this thread as a place for discussion with other fellows that are waiting for their devices to arrive.
Now.. I should say that my biggest concern is that once its here there is no way to replace it, so I'm hoping it wont have any of the issues mentioned in the other threads.. I guess thats the price for being an early adopter these days
So, are there others waiting for their N7s to arrive?
L8rs,
B

Yep, Bulgaria. God knows when it will be available for purchase here officially. Devices on the Play Store are not available here at all.
I presume the local Asus service does not handle the new N7 warranty yet. I am too impatient and I ordered early, so I hope that I wont be facing issues.

Just got mine today. I got it from the play store. Free shipping and got it in 3 days. Not bad seeing as I'm on the eat coast.

I didn't order the tablet from eBay, because I'm afraid that it will happen what you're saying there. So the only choice is I need to wait for the tablet officially available in my country, i'm from Malaysia. It will take 1 and a half month for it, like previous nexus devices. But that's going to take a long time to me I'm too impatient to have it in my hands.
Waiting for mine also (32gb), Bought from the US since its not yet out here IN Australia, fingers crossed there's no dead pixel/dust.

I will survive a dead pixel but not the touchscreen issues that some are reporting. Crossing fingers!
I'm as well waiting as patiently as I can. Living in sweden but ordered mine from a seller on Amazon who ships internationally. The other guys on another forum got theirs yesterday, and ordered about one day before me, so I'm going to be so disapointed if I don't get mine on monday! Darn, this wait
Btw, regarding the possibility of a faulty device. I've heard some talk about international warranty from Asus. Is that confirmed?
Hey me too placed a order on eBay for my 32gb tab as its still not launched in India officially. As per eBay seller the delivery will be made after 10 days. As keeping my fingers cross for not receiving any defective piece....

If you've ever owned a Nexus before, the procedure is exactly the same to unlock and root. Having owned a OG N7, I already had the drivers installed and tools needed (adb and fastboot).
You can have it on a custom rom in 10 minutes if you have the recovery and rom already downloaded.

Australia, originally paid about 25 aud foe shipping, next morning got a message from the seller that DHL couldn't deliver to my area without extras because I live in a 'remote' location, they charged me another 20 USD for that but also changed it to express shipping.

When I ordered I noticed that the Expedited shipping was around $20 cheaper than the Economy shipping - I thought Economy means "slower but cheaper", turns out the faster shipping service is cheaper when shipping to Eastern Europe. A bit strange.
I guess in your case the Expedited service was more expensive (as it is supposed to be) so you had to pay extra.
Anyway, its now 3 days since my purchase and the tracking page has not updated since then, no details as to where it is and when to expect it. Hope this changes on Monday. Does your tracking page show some updated info?
