Can someone point me to a list of packages/ apps that users can disable (ATT Note 7)?
If something like that doesn't exist, please post the packages to disable and i'll keep updating the first post with all your answers.

is ther a possibility to speed up slide 2 play?
Cause everytime i want to use the cower flow it cancelled after some time with the message that i'm running out of free storage.

need a little help here.
I have windows live 10.6 with my stock rom on my HTC HD2 but V11.1 is now available on the market place.
this is what i see on the app page
Description:
"!!MUST REBOOT THE WINDOWS PHONE AFTER INSTALL!! !!Before installing, please be sure to manually uninstall any existing version of Windows Live prior to version 11.!!
My question now is how do i manually uninstall the previous version?
i have tried going under setting->remove application but i do not see windows live there.

We must stop the service "Windows Live" manually with MemMaid or SKTool.Immediately after,installing the new version from Marketplace.

I recently replace my HD2 with on Galaxy S5 and am looking to be able to:
"edit and modify" the program that automatically launch certain applications (for the most part preinstalled !!) which for me, and maybe some others, are useless (eg "Crying Baby(Pleurs Bébé)" Health, Geo News, Kidswear(Mode Enfant), My Magazine, etc ) and revive them when they are "stopped” manually.
In order to "unload" my S5 applications overload and which are not useful to me.
I do not usually forums so I apologize if by chance the topics was not in the correct section

I was thinking about gathering a knowledge base for our precious Honor 7.
For this I need your help.
Let me summarize what I want to achieve:
a "Sticky - Start Here" thread which contains mostly links to the big and relevant threads already in this section
basically a link central
clear instructions on how to do what, what is possible what is not / not yet
links to all the available firmwares, updates, preferably with MD5 checksum because of CRC issues. (would be nice if all the files would be located in just one online storage like mega, gdrive etc)
I started to gather the data here in this google sheet.
Anybody can comment right now and when it is (near) complete, I find a way to upload here.
What I am asking:
If you have any info to add, please comment either in the google sheet or here so I can add to the knowledgebase.
If you add anything, please make it constructive and add links to your facts (eg. rooting is not possible - why? >> add link)
If we work together I think we can clear everything up for ourselves and for the community. (also the schematics can be used in other threads - if helpful )

newbie here. my mother has an MI A1 running ANDROID ONE version 8.1.0 (security patch level - 1st november 2018).
she has a banking app which requires some permissions to be set manually, for it to function, so she searched the phone thoroughly but cant find the "OTHER PERMISSIONS" menu item anywhere. can anyone tell me where to find them?
PS. i can find the same in my REDMI NOTE 4 running MIUI version global stable 11.0.2.0 (NCFMIXM) but not in my mother's phone, because google has changed the menu layout in oreo. please help me.

Goto settings
Search for 'permissions'
Open 'App level permissions'
Open '> See all'
You should have the banking app in the list and set required permissions.
BTW: Android One and MIUI never had exact same settings menus...
cannot find the required permissions in that list
thank you JockeSve, but i cannot find the "RUN IN BACKGROUND" / "DISPLAY POPUP WINDOWS WHILE RUNNING IN THE BACKGROUND" in that list. am i missing something? i can find these permissions with verbatim words in other android phones. please check the screenshot in the link in my OP. any solution? thanks in advance
