Any way to fake location?

I'm just wondering if there's any way to make my phone think I'm at a different location than I am. Specifically I'm wondering about the NBA League Pass app which blacks out all the games for users outside the United States, is there any way to trick my phone into thinking I'm somewhere else?
I think your post should be in the general area. Look for a proxy program on the market and use a USA proxy. Many free proxy's out there.
proxies are useless
i tried
app checks some other way

Maybe you can leave your phone at home while you leave the country?
LOL! Sorry... I couldn't help it.
I think that you can enable Mock Location but I'm not sure and what that does or how to take advantage of the feature.
try this maybe?
http://developer.android.com/guide/topics/location/index.html
The mock location is removed once you exit that app... its been tried... cant seem to find a way to get it to work.
And how would leaving your phone at home work?
A) Were I don't live in the US
B) ... no point even putting the reason here....
lol...
anyways no idea how to get it done, but playoffs today!!!

3minit vs. xposed & other questions

I have been flashing ROMs for years. I am new to these. My questions are as follows...
What are the differences between 3minit and xposed? Is it as simple as it is the same thing from two different devs?
Can the modules be used interchangeably between both?
Does one have advantages or benefits over the other?
Can using one of these slow down your device?
Anything else one should know about using these?
Thanks in advance!

Anyone else worried about encryption slowing down performance?

Anyone else worried about this? Has anyone seen these issues? Do you think Google will offer a solution?
http://www.droid-life.com/2014/11/2...-blame-the-encryption-that-you-cant-turn-off/
Just use the posted fix to turn it off.
+1 to what gtalum said. Just flash the custom kernel to disable encryption by default. I feel that Google should allow users to opt out of encryption or to leave it for by default similar to how they've done it in the past.
It'll be interesting if someone compared the iPhone encryption on vs off since no one mentioned about the speeds.

I have never flashed a phone. I would like to try but I know my limitations and that I am bad at following directions.

iPhones use hardware encryption and have a dedicated chip for it, so the change is negligible.
That Google is using software encryption and leaving no official means to turn it off is puzzling and annoying.

Anyone Using International G935F or FD

I am looking at getting one to be able to root. I have seen that hundreds have been sold here, so would like to get feedback from anyone using one so far.
Know some features like WiFi calling will disappear, but wondering how they are working overall.
You'll most likely find the answers to your questions in the International S7 forums, just add "in US" and you'll probably get the feedback you need.

Has anyone seen Ubuntu on Z981??

Hey everyone,
I ended up with a free Z981 and recently I have been looking at installing Ubuntu on of my devices. Since this phone was free and has a large screen I was curious about using this device. After a search and looking around I cant seem to find where anyone has done it. With that in mind I am curious if there is any reason NOT to use this device and if anyone has some idea/recommendations where to start. Any information or guidance would be much appreciated.
Thanks!
