I have a question I made a GIF and I can not send it in a text message? It says it's to big. So I made a short one about 4 sec. Still to big?

Sounds like it's high resolution. If you are sending it to someone who doesn't have advanced messaging then it needs to be under 1MB. If they do then it's 10MB.

I just tried sending a gif to a friend and it was 5mb and it sent. So maybe the gif is too high on the resolution. How many mb does it say it is?

I got it fixed...my bad..
I sent it as a link via Google Drive. My issue is that sending it to an iPhone, it shows up as a still image and not a gif. Anyone has had that happen?

I'm having the same issue... If i send it to my wife (GS7Edge) before i press send, it's animated... after i hit send, it only sends the screenshot of the gif at the moment i hit send... also when i post to FB, it only posts as a pic. ( sharing from the gallery and posting from FB app and get the same results.)
I'm using Tmobile note 7 and having same issue. I'm using the text messager that came with the Note7. I even lowered the rec resolution but when I send to iPhone or etc it is just a still image. I understand some say it should be lower then 1mb to work but then the gif can only run for about 2 sec...is there another way to reduce file size with effecting the run time and or image?
I really wanted to take advantage of using this gif feature
How did you all change the length of time it records? I only see the 6 second option for the GIF? They are coming out gigantic... I did one test one and it was 20mb!!

I really like Adobe Photoshop mobile. Great number of features and really fast on Froyo. Haven't spent the money to try out Picsay Pro, but I hear its good and its been featured for quite some time.
Don't think either one will let u crop a head and put it on another pic can anyone look into this ??

EDIT: @mobgod okay, i tested out photoshop express and you cannot copy/paste from one image to another. cropping, resizing, color and other manipulations of a single image are working fine. altogether it's a slick app. But to answer your question, no, you cannot put a head on another body.

i dont want to be a ****, but i mean cmon. its one thing to ask what software will replace a current one but another entirely to then ask someone to find out what if it has a feature.
the answer has been given, he/she has enough time to post AGAIN and ask, instead of just downloading it and trying it themself.

"Foxy Photo Editor" might do what you are looking for. I've seen it...never tried it so post back with your thoughts.
If you just want to cut and paste heads, there's a app that does only that. I don't remember the name but it was something like face/head switcher

I have picsay pro and it does let you put a picture in another picture and also edit out the second picture so that you can put someone's head or whatever. I have the paid version so I don't know if the free version lets you as well. Hopefully that was the answer you were looking for.

I wonder if they are doing some algorithm computation which is tied to their database and have to send data back and forth. Kind of like voice recognition. Try putting the phone in airplane mode and then use face unlock. I wonder if it will default to the preset pattern.

This is what I was thinking too.
I went to the security settings and found out my phone doesn't have face recognition (AOKP ms4) I could have sworn I've tried it out before haha.

ok, at first i was joking obviously
But after downloading a zip to flash Face Unlock for my phone..it's kinda got me wondering lol
For one, I took a screenshot of the first page when setting it up. Last point says all the info is saved on your phone. (see below)
2nd, I've been using it for a few hours now and i have no face unlock data usage as of yet. I'll check it again tomorrow afternoon.

You click on an app under data usage and it will show you the percentage used by that app.
Btw I don't see how you can think its photo shopped when it's 100% legitimate.

i KNOW, it is awesome... when i first saw that i was like...oooh, oooh...lol Also, it seems you can type A LOT and it becomes a "scolling marquee"... too cool... : )
Amazed at what people can miss. Not to be a peni$ here, but this feature has been there since HoneyComb on my other tablets.
This is my first Android phone, so I cannot say if phones had it prior to ICS. I don't even know if other ICS phones support that, but this being a tablet and I can attest that this feature is not new and has been there since HC on old tablets.
What would be a neat feature is:
1. Add an icon to swipe. Just like on iPhones. I learnt how to modify those swipers that I made my own: with my girlfriend's pic, my pic, my motorcycle, my car, my ***, etc, etc.
2. Gesture unlock just like in Win8. Doodle on a picture to unlock the device. This looks like fun.

Just wanted to share it with those who might not know about it, it makes the Note EVEN more enjoyable when u turn it on and see ur own lil personalization smilin' back @ ya!
I've had this for ages on my Jellybeaned DHD. Best bit is it is backed up and restored with Google backup.

Hate to break it to you guys but if you took more care about what information you shared on the internet (such as names, emails, addresses etc - basic security stuff) you wouldn't have anything to fear from HTC's legal department. A lot of us came from the Note7 and have the gear fit 2, has anyone set it up on the v20 and if so could you post a tutorial here? Or better yet make a how to thread in the news and guides section. My problem here is I only have one hand atm because of a recent surgery and in not sure I want to open this box if its a pain in the butt. This way I can sell the watch easier if I'm not so moved to set it up! lol thanks in advanced.

You download Samsung gear app. When you open it it will have you download 2 other plugins. You will have to download SHealth if you want too. I already set up my Gear S2 classic.

Is there any place where all the different health apps are compared? We got SHealth, LG Fit, Google Fit... never mind dedicated apps like Runkeeper vs Runtastic (I don't know the difference between those either, except that I have used Runkeeper and not Runtastic).
I don't mind manually entering stuff. I don't really trust the calorie estimates on my Gear Fit 2, and I only use it to track steps, something I don't necessarily need aggregated. If I did need it aggregated, of course, I could probably be bothered to enter it manually if one app was markedly better.
I feel like all I'm seeing right now are just "22 best fitness apps" and they don't really care about apples-to-apples comparisons, even.
I don't use them so I wouldnt know. I just installed it to ensure it works lol

No problem. A lot of people were wondering. I have the Gear S2 classic, but I assume all Gear S2 would support the same thing since they are all the same OS and stuff.
We have Gear Fit 2's and got our V20's last night and in no time at all got them setup with no issues.
