same error ( i was install by APK file

Asus announced that Pokemon Go officially supports Zenfone on 14th and it works well on my ZE520KL now.

Is your phone rooted? Some app/games won't run due to security issues, preventing cheating etc. I know puzzles and dragons went that route.

PokemoneGo has some kinda of root protection, so that you can't spoof your GPS. I have the same issue with my current phone.

no apps market

hi
just got a new htc desire hd
and there is no android market on the phone
how can i install it to the phone
thanks
Are you definitely sure that it isn't there? Considering that it does come installed stock.
Otherwise, install it from this link: http://code.google.com/p/synergy-base/source/browse/trunk/system/app/Vending.apk?r=239

You really should go back to wherever you bought it from and ask for an explanation.
If that doesn't work out for you, a simple way to install it without connecting it to your computer would be to install ROM Manager and then install Google Apps from there. I personally would take the new Market from the XDAForums.
Hey, if you are going to install the market, it might as well be the new one.
How can he install ROM Manager easily without the Market, and what use would that be? I've merely provided the apk, that's all there is to it.
To the OP, remember to allow installing from unknown sources under Settings > Applicationa

I see your point.
I was just assuming that if he didn't have the market, he probably didn't have some g apps either.
Doing it either way is easy enough, and in any case, and if you're going to install through an apk, then you might as well take the new one (that said, I haven't checked out your link as yet).
Does ROM Manager give a flashable package or a bunch of apks? Because again, if he isn't rooted, he can't flash zips either...knowing ROM Manager, I'm presuming they are zips.

ROM Manager deals with installing Google Apps the same way it deals with any other ROM. It is a pretty useful thing tto hhave, especially because a lot of ROMs ship without Google apps.
So yeah, I'm guessing that you would have to root.

That's really strange, I've had no problems at all with mine! What ROM are you running? Maybe its a bug?

Sugggest you back to shop to ask for an explain. By default it comes with HTC Sense and all Google apps. If you sure it is not there, maybe the shop flash you another customized rom?
as far as know its the standard rom the phone came with
its wasn't root etc.
its not a UK phone its from Kuwait but it has English etc on it
i was wondering if it doesn't have apps market as standard in that country??
i got it online so would mean posting back, emailed them and that dont understand why it didnt have the market on.

If you go to settings > about phone > software, could you post the info from there on here please? Just to determine whether your ROM is standard or not
Sent from my Desire HD using XDA App
You can get the latest Android Market.apk from here.
(It's also on XDA in a few threads.)
EDIT: Sorry, nevermind. I missed the replies on page 1.

Hmm...all stock. Strange.
Did you install the Vending.apk from my link, and did that work? 1.86 is very old, that might be why it doesn't work as well.
If mine didn't work, I can fetch the previous version for you.

Maybe you could try deleting the data from the app by going to settings > applications > manage applications and find market and press delete data or whatever hope this works!

ARMv6 is older cpu platform. You can´t install chrome because you have ARMv6 and Froyo or Gingerbread Rom. Chrome is supported only in Ics and Armv7+ Cpu's

Please google about Dell xcd35 and Zte blade. You'll find out a lot about what can be run and what cannot. Secondly if market says any app isn't compatible with your device, its 90% true it wont work.

Anti Theft app

I have used Avast Anti theft for years because of the "Root" feature, it survives a phone reset... Last they Avast stopped supporting it and it cannot be installed now.
What Antitheft app do you use now that can survive a phone reset ? I really like this feature but I couldn't find any app that has this feature.
Thanks
Hi there. As far as I see, Avast anti theft is stil available through avast.com (it redirects to google play). Is there a problem with downloading?
I used Cerberus anti theft (Paid version).

I've contacted the developer team as well, and they mentioned they've taken down the rooted version from Play Store
,and they also stopped supporting the custom-named package feature.
Thus, I'm looking for the new one ,also.
Here's the download link for rooted version http://apk.ff.avast.com/AvastAntiTheftSetup.apk

It's an outdated version without development anymore. The team stopped the development of rooted version, so it might failed to work on your device ,though working on my KitKat device.
It's not recommended to install it. Commends from web client can't be recived and sent because of too old to support.
Try Cerberus paid version, it has root as well.

Most apps can be updated weeks, even months before they are on the Play Store. Also gives beta and alpha access to apps that isn't able to be gotten on Play Store.
My question is why doesn't the apk install.

Exactly that's the catch ..... not all the updates that you find in "Aptoide" are compatible with your current phone build ....there are a lot of variants .... it is best to check before.... [emoji6]

Just install as normal app or rename to "GameOptimization.apk" and replace to system/app.:highfive:
I think that no need to install game optimize. If you really want to play games smoothly, just install an AOSP rom, CM, RR...those roms consume less memory and cpu usage.
