i Just wanna ask about Something annoying
i will start use UPSM but
the problem is when i lock the screen the phone kills any app running ...:crying:
so i need your help
is there a way to disable it?

How to get rid of screen lock screen? i'm tired to use that i want to see my phone after pressing button not slice to unlock Is there any easy way?
I' NOT talking about password and so on i'm talking about screenlocker itself. PS and i don't want any app to do this I hate apps.

Can you tell me the sense of a smartphone when you don't use apps and email on your smartphone?

I found a way to do do something like that you want. As i can see you have cm7 so you have the CM settings, I guess. There are 3 lockscreen settings which can do sort of what you want:
1) Go to ->Unlock options and enable Menu unlock & Disable unlock slider
2) Go to ->Delay and timeout and put screen timeout delay and screen turn off delay to max (30min i think).
So your phone after these setting will lock after 30 min of nonuse and will unlock by pressing the menu button without showing any slice to unlock!

Well that's definitely better then it was Thanks. cause it's very bad thing when you have to turn on phone every few minutes cause you got sms Buti home there will be some one who knows how to remove. I have my Archos 32 player and it uses android but it don't have lock screen
Hallo, I want something to switch lockscreen on-off
or better to switch from slide (if I say it correct in english) to pattern/pin
I use smart cover, but even without that, it would be useful to enable/disable pattern lock with a button
so we don't have to go into menus and settings every time we need extra security
widgetsoid has a button for that but doesn't seem to work, even with admin enabled

Day 1 with phone and first charge didn't make it through the night. The ultra power saving mode sounds really promising - anyone seen an app or feature that could set UPSM on and off on a schedule? Or auto-enable it at say 10% power? I hope that's not obvious in the settings and I missed it, I couldn't find anything like it.

It's hard to believe Samsung didn't build that feature in. But they didn't. Taker is a good idea, someone give it a try.

I bought Tasker and installed to try it out. I was able to set up a profile with tasks for standard settings like radio, bluetooth, mobile data. But I don't see a way to access UPSM as an action. The ability to launch Settings and click a button seems to require root. SecureSettings plugin didn't seem to add any new abilities that would help with this. I'm not too familiar with Tasker so if anyone has an idea on a method to execute upsm I would try it. Seems like samsung would at least put in the option to auto-enable at a certain percentage battery remaining.

While im no tasker guru, i have had slight sucsess through starting UPSM. The profiles starts when the batery is below 10% but only launches the UPSM setting screen. Its found under: App/Launch App and you need st select all in the bottom left. This only launches the setting screen, you then need to enable it and select okay. I have been trying to find a way to pass arguments to UPSM but lack the knolege...

i have an thirdparty keyboard and last night i set a password for my phone and then enable ultrapower saving, as you know this option disable all of apps and now when i turn on screen. there is no keyboard :| now my phone need a password but i dont have any keybard for typing the pass.
please help me i dont want to lose my data, how can i disable ultra power saving or enable samsung keyboard ??? please give me a solution.. i know that i can wipe from recovery mod but i dont want lose data like phone numbers, notes or anything like this

Power off your device and power on again. See if it disables ultrapowersaving mode.

As you know thanks to touchwiz it is still possible to turn on silent mode on Android 6.0.
I have been searching the web for hours but could not find "a simple app that when launched turns on silent mode without the need to tap anything (like a widget)".
Can you tell me where to find such an app ? or create it for me ?
I would really appreciate it and I think it help other people facing the same issue.
You must be thinking why isn't he using a widget or an app with a button to tap or something like tasker for silent mode. Well that's because I don't like Tasker and use "Smart connect" instead but Smart connect has limited sound options (ring/vibrate/Do not disturb). However Smart connect allows you to launch an app automatically, so a workaround could be to launch this simple app automatically.
Why the following solutions won't work for me :
- Do not disturb mode
On samsung phones correct me if I'm but you can't set up more that one DND profile. The problem is I need silent mode when I'm at work where I can't accept any sound. On the other hand I use DND at night where I only allow calls (in case of emergency).
- Sound mode toggle widget
I want silent mode to turn on in a certain time period on weekdays. I don't want to have to press a widget every time. I don't even need a widget for that because I could tap on the quick setting in the notification menu.
- A tasker like app for sound modes
Would work but I don't like the idea to have several tasker like apps on my phone. I believe having multiple tasker-like apps triggers wakelock that would impact battery life and/or create wakelocks.
