First of all, i already had the 60fps option ONCE, when i was in AICP 6.0, so i know that it works in our phone, but i went to test all the other roms, there were no 60fps anymore, just 480p max.
720p and 1080p are available, but when it's a 60fps video, not regular 30fps, they dissapear. Am I the only one having this issue? Im good watching 480p, but when i know that my phone can easily handle 1080p60, it really bothers me. Can someone test this, please?

I noticed this randomly today while I looked some details of my videos. Are they actually 60fps or is MXPlayer showing the framerate wrong? Some older videos show 30fps but newer ones are 60fps. See the images below:
I believe MX player info are wrong. This also happened to me and I was like, this is too good to be true.
Upload the videos to your computer and use a better software like MediaInfo. It'll give you the correct framerates.
Hi I have a galaxy s5 g900f and on YouTube, if the video is 720p or 1080p the video will work just fine, however, when the video is 720p60fps or 1080p60fps it doesn't work on my phone. I have looked everywhere and got nowhere. I need help. Also if the video is at 60fps the max quality I can watch the video at is 480p. Tell me what kind of other information you need and I will try my best to provide it!
I can't believe that i can't find a way to record 1080p 60fps video with this phone. I tried open camera but veifying it in vlc showed that it was still 1080p 30fps. It's pretty disappointed that my every phone i've had since g2 from 2 years ago could do it but i can't get my brand new phone to record in silky smooth 60fps. Is there a mod or an app out that can actually do this?

Just realized this now that you mentioned it. 720p60 works great, but I rarely get the option to crank up to 1080p. And when I do, I can't watch 60 FPS on either resolution. Really odd.

THIS IS A REQUEST/QUESTION ABOUT A MOD
So, as said above, I've read that YT blocked the 60fpsHDR 2K videos playback on our glorious S8(+), so my question comes.
Is there a mod/app allowing it?
I know that some people say that it was choppy as hell, but before I see it, I will not believe it.
