Not in any meaningful way, your best bet is just removing bloatware and unused apps and using software to manage what runs at startup
Swapit works for me. It requires a rooted device, terminal Emulator, busybox, init_d support for which you can download Universal init from playstore. Here's the link for the xda Thread:

What do u mean??
I believe he wanted to say that Touchwiz installed a lot of apps that can't be uninstalled.

no there is no way to knock on with proximity sensor covered because this is how the phone does not get accidentally unlocked while in pockets and such
so i have to stick on pa or cm then. Thanks

Hello,
My friend has S4 VE (I9515), one day it just turned itself off, and now it's not turning on. I can't open recovery, download mode seems to work, but the battery died and - surprise - phone is not charging. Any ideas what can I do to fix it?

If you have an s3 battery, it will fit in an s4.
Okay, so I tried to run it with my Note battery and it worked. The system does not boot, but I can succesfully enter download mode. What else should I do besides replacing battery?

Yes, it does. But system still doesn't boot, neither does recovery.

Try re-flashing stock rom.

Is it possible to add a language that is not in the system without doing root? I mean use adb and grant application permissions like Language Enabler.
