Hi, I am sharing a tool that I had just discover, Because I am attempt to change the white colour bootsplash to black, but apparently the boot splash image is actually black in colour. I had no idea on this since the colour is already black and wish that anybody could assist me.
BTW, here is the tool : LogoRleUtil v.1.1

ok following a tutorial on here i managed to change my splash screen perfectly. which now i love.
but i was wondering if theres a way to change my windows mobile boot screen. ( the one that comes right after the splash ) just wondering

Does anyone know how to change the operator screen for my spv c500?...I have wm6.1 installed but when i start it it appears the orange logo and a few options.

You should will go to this section :
WM6.1 for Typhoon/Feeler/Amadeus pre [1.3]
-on first page is software SPLASH SCREEN, download software and change operator logo (splash screen).
Picture for splash screen should has resolution 176x220 pixels.
Don't worry it's very simple
i would like to change the welcome windows 6.0 splash image of my own when in switch on the phone.
can anyone guide me how to change that ?

I have problem upgrading to my own Splash Screen which tried this long back with some picture which work and now I have tried to edit my Splash Screen with my own picture which is gone everything mess [only green screen now].....!
I tried many tools like splashscreen, Artemis SplashScreen etc...
but no result... The Splash screen and the 2 picture is showing green display...
Could somebody help me to do this....I have attached the screenshot here...

You might want to Google.
Since we get no love from the touchscreen people, I have modified a few of the spash screens found on here to fit our 320x240 screens.
I have an Ozone and there are 3 different splash screens the phone goes through at boot up:
1. HTC splash
2. Animated VZW splash
3. WinMo slash
Replacing the WinMo splash is easy. Just overwite \Windows\ms_splash.png
I can't find the image for the HTC spash screen though aywhere on the device.
Can somebody shed some light on this one?

The green WM6.1 spash is a .nb0 file. The black HTC splashes are ROM parts 0x600 and 0x601 flashed onto the device. You already know ms_splash.png.
Check this out to make your own splashes, but beware, flashing ROM parts incorrectly could brick your phone.
