My phone is stuck in bootloader - Lava Pixel V1

Hi Xda. I need your help. I bought a lava pixel v1 android one phone this year. Everything was smooth till today. I had rooted my phone many times this year and there was no problem till today. I had downloaded the marshmallow update for my phone O-T-A. when i tried to install the update my phone showed some error after installing the update about 20%. Then i unrooted my phone and tried to install it again but it did not work. So i decided to root my phone again. I used kingroot to root my phone all times so even this time i went with kingroot. It was all normal for some time. Then my phone rebooted and it just wont go past the bootloader. I had not installed any custom rom, it has happened with the stock Android 5.1 rom. Please help!!!

N900 Not Rebooting System After Flash

Hi all,
I've recently been gifted the note 3 n900 and rooted it. I also installed TWRP and CWM as well, and when i go to install a ROM, it does say successfully and then at reboot, it shows the samsung galaxy note 3 screen, after that it goes blank. I've to do a battery pull to get it back and then restore a backup. I've tried many ROMs and also did rooting again, still nothing.
I've been using the galaxy s4 i9500 for about 2 years now and that is rooted and i've been flashing roms on it all year long with no problem. I'm just not sure what's going with this.
I'm currently on 4.4.2 official stock as I can't do much. Lollipop has not yet come to my region i think.
Any help would be widely appreciated.
Thank you in advance.
Same Issue here but I am even not getting a samsung logo or a custom rom logo.

Hi
I had this problem for a couple of days, I found out that I flashed a incompatible rom via Odin. Can you can go into fast boot mode and tell me what it says at the top? Mine said " Couldn't do normal boot " which means the rom I flashed was not supported for my device. I went to the Samsung website to download a rom that was compatible with my device, I flashed it via Odin and it worked.
Thanks
I Just got my error fixed. U need to flash your bootloader via odin

I found that flashing the Stock Lollipop Rom worked, just as mentioned above by the above post. Yes, just by updating the bootloader i think it works. I've done it by getting the Russian stock rom from sammobile (even though i'm not in Russia), works like a charm. Really love the new feel to the note 3 n900. Just need to find a way to get permissive kernel now and ites perfect.

Note 4 help!!

Hi all
I need some help with my note 4. I originally gained root access. And all was fine up till last week when the phone was freezing and rebooting. screen mirroring issue

I am using samsung galaxy A500G and after rooting my phone the screen mirroring function is not working anymore.
Please help me solving this issue.
For me screen mirroring works OK on stock rooted ROM, but it never works on any CM rom based (because CM doesn't support screen mirroring on our a5 versions).
So if you are still on stock ROM it should work, but if you're on a custom ROM then you'll better forget it...
its running on stock rom
Sir,
My a500g is still running on stock rom and i am not using any custom rom, i tried too many times but still screen mirroring is not working and one more thing i installed TWRP after rooting my phone but it got stuck on TWRP mode. please help me.

I think it should be better if you will flash again the stock ROM with odin. After that you can go again to root your phone and install again TWRP but be very carefully and double check the steps you performe because you did something wrong on your first attempt to root/twrp your phone.
how to unlock bootloader in samsung galaxy A500g
Is this compulsory to unlock bootloader before installing TWRP.
If it is compulsory so please tell me how to unlock bootloader in samsung galaxy A500g. .

Has anyone successfully rooted Samsung Galaxy SMJ-500F 6.0.1 Marshmallow India?

Hello I am Yohan, newly registered member but an ardent follower of XDA forums and developers since the past one year. XDA has educated me in so many different things and I have enjoyed full freedom on my android devices ever since.
Now am using Samsung's SMJ500F 6.0.1 Marshmallow, and it seems almost impossible to find a working root method for this. Being a powerful device, all the bloatware is lagging down it's performance.
I have tried,
1. ODIN method (both TWRP and custom firmware), Result: Brick.
2. KingRoot (no strategy available).
3. Flashing SuperSU.zip using TWRP, failed. Result: Brick.
I can't even recall all the methods I've tried and the sites I've visited cause there is so many. I have bricked my device so many times, that the service centre guy is like "Here he comes again".
So my question is, has anyone successfully rooted Samsung Galaxy J500F 6.0.1 Marshmallow, and if so please do share it with the community, and if any developer can come up with a pre rooted SMJ500F 6.0.1 firmware, it'll be much appreciated. Hope to see your replies soon.

Which SuperSU zip did you flash using TWRP? And what error did you get?
I have a J500FN. When I tried Marshmallow 6.0.1, I installed TWRP, then latest SuperSU zip and it got rooted without problems.
Try to flash:
1. Stable: http://download.chainfire.eu/supersu-stable .
2. Latest: http://download.chainfire.eu/supersu .

If using kingroot then just make sure you are connected to wifi or mobile data as you need it for finding strategies. I would prefer TWRP method and then flash SuperSu.zip. It works 100% on all models. What has left me confused is what do you mean by "brick"? Are you able to access download mode after flashing twrp?
Edit:
If you are able to access download mode then flash official firmware via odin fist and then try your luck again. Hope this helps.

Did you check the roms and kernel section here? We have 2 unofficial twrp ( who cares if its official or not. It does its work. Atleast it wont brick your device) , one for lollipop and one for marshmallow. Read the respective thread and download the correct twrp for ur device.

Yes I did. After your advice I used rom from topic [RECOVERY] [TWRP-3.0.2-0] Samsung Galaxy J5 [MM][Android 6.0.1] and finally installed it on my SM-J500H.
Thank you for point in right direction.

Hii friend
I am using samsung j500f 6.0.1 and i have succesfully rooted it.i faced some problems while rooting but resolved them.
At first flash firmware to your phone from
http://updato.com/firmware-archive-select-model
Then download the latest odin and twrp recovery from the given link
http://forum.xda-developers.com/android/development/recovery-samsung-galaxy-j500f-t3416960
Then try to flash it with odin.
Then goto recovery mode after flashing and then try to install the given supersu zip file from twrp.
Download Supersu zip from the link below
http://download.chainfire.eu/696/supersu/
For Marshmallow Users if you are facing bootloop after flashing supersu.zip . Flash the given file
http://mega.nz/#!zNVBhKjb!FZFKq6vaI...OHtdYY_TKt-6Qs(Thanks @jka_dark28 for link)
Download the file install it then ur done wait for few minutes to reboot and then ur rooted .
For any suggetions see the post.

Help with a troubled Tab 4 7.0! (Downgrade & QA)

Hi community I just need help to figure out what to do with my Tab 4 7.0 the history begins this way:
I get this Tablet already used not brand new it looked to have Android Lollipop 5.1.1 when I got it and didn't appear suspicious and lend it to one of my kids, the problem begins after some time the Tablet didn't connect to the Play Store anymore proly because my kids was trying to root it via KingoRoot or other apps to mess with some games, so after that I decided to solve the problem doing a Hard Reset but it didn't work, the tablet still can't connect to the PlayStore via RH-01 error message.
So I decided to flash it with the official stockl rom from Samsung, my BIG surprise is that this Tablet never get Lollipop 5.1.1 it didn't ever get Lollipop at all accordingly to this thread: https://forum.xda-developers.com/tab-4/general/links-galaxy-tab-4-official-lollipop-5-t3102844
Because my tablet is the SM-T230NU (the model accordingly to the box is SM-T230NYKAXAR) model and that model never gets LL, so I figure it out this was a modified rom? Even in the Info about the device over settings it says the model of the device i "Nexus 5" instead of Tab 4 or whatever Samsung call this device but not Nexus 5 that is a phone from LG.
So I stopped here, because I've heard it can be dangerous to Downgrade Android versions? If not what should I do? Use Odin3 and flash the rom mentioned in this thread: https://forum.xda-developers.com/tab-4/general/links-stock-galaxy-tab-4-firmware-t3013128
For the T230NU USA variant? Hope u can advice me about what to do and give some tips because this will be my first flash on a device.
Thanks in advance! :laugh::good:
They probably flashed a custom rom with broken GAPPS, just restore with Odin and the official rom.

By restore u mean flash it with some of the roms provided in this link: https://forum.xda-developers.com/tab...mware-t3013128
So there's no problem if I have 5.1.1 right now and get down to 4.2 as is the official one?
