Initialize using Smart Switch from Samsung. It's under MORE as Emergency Software Recovery and Initialization. Your model name can be found on the back of the phone. The serial number can be found by pressing the home and power button at the screen that says restart or continue when going into download mode.

Your serial number should be somewhere on the box or on that little sticker that was glued to the back of Your phone.

So it's the 12 character long one (letters and numbers) instead of the 15 digit long number?
Anyone got a small tutorial for this.
So far I got waiting for device and I just cant seem to get it to do anything.
thanks in advance
Any help?
I'm stuck at Waiting for Device.
Is being at the HBOOT menu correct?
It worked! You need the S/N serial under your battery or in phone settings. My HTC is now S-Off!

Just boot your device normal
Download, extract and run the windows file.
Then put the information the program gives you in to the form which will appear in your browser after you hit download. Once you get a beta key there, just copy it back to the program and hit return

Try different sim and if same issue do factory reset.
Are you sure you have n910c ?
Go to download mode by pressing 3 buttons together
Shut down phone and press volume down+home+power
Once in download mode press volume up
And see what model number shows there on top of screen and tell me.

Looks like your sim slot has some hardware issues
I beleive its not software related problem
If you have warranty left then i suggest go to service center.

i dnt think so its related to the sim slot
If you are using stock ROM and didn't mess up with EFS partition yourself, it is likely hardware issue. If you have warranty you might want to get a replacement.
I also think it is likely hardware issue.

Efs partition is very crucial for a phone.. Are you rooted, custom recovery, etc? If not then just send it in, tell them you don't know what happened after software updates the phone became disfunction

Or you can ask around for people with the same phone model as you to backup their Efs partition and send you. Then repartition through odin / heimdall

Did you flash a disabled vbmeta? You need if you want to flash TWRP, and that look to be the problem. To fix this, flash stock, flash disabled vbmeta, on your screen it will say error and to factory reset. Do that, then flash TWRP.
its booting up right now it shows the samsung logo
