[Q] Stuck in Samsung Recovery Utils

Hey everyone!
I have never posted anything on a forum before, so please tell me if I do anything wrong. I have searched everywhere to find a solution for my problem, but I found nothing.
Today I accidentally got into the Samsung Recovery Utils of my galaxy 3. I have done nothing to the phone, all original, nothing flashed or rooted. But now I can't get out of this mode, if I restart the phone it automatically goes back into it.
Does anyone know how to get out of there?

And I hope that this is the right forum to ask this question, as I said, I have never posted in a forum before.

Usually you should be able to reboot from recovery mode. Scroll to reboot Phone with the Volume Keys and klick with the Home Key... Your phone should restart.
Otherwise remove the battery, wait a few moments, plug the battery back in and try it again.

Thank you, I tried both several times, but I always end up in the recovery mode... I have no idea how i can get out of there! Do you maybe know something else I could do?

do the battery thing mentioned above. turn on your phone with vol up+ vol down+home +power (hold them for a while) and then try rebooting from the menu

Hey.. If ur on a Android 2.1 firmware and stuck on recovery every time...
just use the volume keys and chose the option "reboot" ... by the way.. its on default there.
after that just press the central key or called the "home key" two times consecutively..
ur good to go

I tried this several times, but I always end up in the Recovery Menu. When I pull out the battery, restart the phone and hold all those buttons including the power button my phone shows the Samsung Galaxy Logo and then reboots again, and then shows the Logo and reboots again. Only without holding the power button, and only the other ones I get into the Recovery Menu again. I really hope there is a way to get out of this mode! Thank you for all your help so far!

Hey I just saw the post in front of my other one
So yes I'm on Android 2.1 if that helps. And I tried this method several times, but when my phone restarts I always end up in the recovery mode by pressing nothing.

I tried that out, but still rebooted into recovery mode all the time.
Because I couldn't find anything that solved my problem I just decided to flash my phone to a newer original firmware via odin. I just finished flashing and everything works fine as it did before, till now tho. I used the tutorial that is on this forum for flashing my I5800 and it worked perfectly fine, thank you for everyone's help anyway!
Now I hope that they will soon bring back froyo on kies, because it was deleted from the servers again today in Germany so I can't update. Hope that will happen soon!

I would recommend to forget about KIES... I am sorry but this software is a piece of crap!
Keep using the Odin Flasher. If you have some spare time install gsams nice lagfix and be happy about a very fast Froyo I5800

Another funny thing about Kies: You can download the current version by using a US Proxy Server, which is also free of these annoying error messages at startup. But still there are much better alternatives, and the newest version (Kies 5 I think) is also incompatible to the I5800 Phone :-/

Yes, I really hate kies, that software is nothing good!
I think I will follow your advise to continue using odin flasher. Which froyo version is the best to install? I still have 2.1 on my phone. and then how do you install that lagfix? Sorry for all those questions, but I'm new to all this.

I have already read through those threads, I just meant that I just started some days ago, I'm not a pro, I'm only someone who just started haha

So today I flashed to xxjpf froyo and I'm having no problems so far. everything is fine so my problem is solved and in addition I have froyo now

Can you get into download mode? If so, flash the correct files again.

cannot go into download mode ..
just black lcd now..and i test with power supply the metter it show 0.2 to 0.4

Here's a hot tip...
If your thread has "help" in the title, it almost certainly doesn't belong in development.
If your download mode is inaccessible, you may need a jig. Lots of info around here.
Why were you flashing without testing your three button download/recovery first?

First of all charge ur sgs. Then go to 3 button combo(volume down+home button+power) download mode. Then using Odin flash Darkyy 9.2 resecure resecure edition. Hope this will clear ur problem.

this phone is program chinese version but my patner wrong putting galaxy tap flash file ..now ii just hope someone can help me ...pls
i have try enter recovery mode but fail i have try take out batterry for 1 hr but fail too now jz jig no try yet

People have made numerous suggestions. Try to get into DOWNLOAD MODE (not recovery) by removing the battery, replacing it, and pressing VOL DOWN + HOME + POWER and holding them.
If that really doesn't work after you have tried multiple times, you will need to order a Jig from Ebay.
Beyond that, the only solution for the future is STOP YOURSELF FROM DOING STUPID THINGS TO YOUR PHONE BY TAKING CARE AND LEARNING AS MUCH AS YOU CAN BEFORE YOU DO ANYTHING WHATSOEVER!

yup tottally right when u don kno stuff there r 100s of topic,,and every rom here has in bold caution---download and recovery check...
anywayz **** happens try the download mode use the jig or search the youtube on how to make one or the last u can send it to sammy center...

but my patner wrong putting galaxy tap flash file ..now ii just hope someone can help me ...pls

Today I turned on the phone so everything is ok, I get the request from the pin and when I enter the phone freezes. then I open it I remove the battery and reinsert the one is no longer on ... the phone is almost dead! You have no idea what might have happened and if you how to solve it?

Try flashing. Look at the link in my sig.

Its nothing big
The same happened to me. I then searched the net and found this wonderful site. I flashed the original rom, then got bolder and started flashing froyo roms and am now happily flashing custom roms ! I can say I enjoy my phone more now!!. Flash your phone too!!

thanks for the advice guys ... the problem that when I connect to the pc I can not turn it on and then the computer does not recognize me ... then how do I flash the rom nn me if the computer recognizes it??

You can try to factory reset it... Follow the following
Press Vol Up + Vol Down Key (Press in middle so that both are pressed)
Press Home Key
Now Press Power
GT I5801 logo will appear
Leave the keys and your phone will boot into recovery
Try wiping cache first and if not working factory reset it
If after this it doesnt work, Install Kies...It will install drivers
Follow the above steps except press vol down key instead of both
Phone will go into download mode.... Plug in USB and flash it

Just flash your phone with new rom. For this use Odin and OPS file and rom .
Boot into download mode of gt-5800 by using vol - , power and home button all at a time. Then you can flash new firmware from Odin , use one package or other option specific to rom and your phone will start working again. Hope this helps.
Post any problem while flashing.

Did the phone hung during upgrade process or Kies hung during download process?
If phone hung during upgrade process and now you cannot boot that means your phone is hard bricked. This is because when you upgrade the phone through kies, it updates the boot loader and when phone hung during the process means bootloader is corrupted. In this scenario, you need to take the phone to service center and get hardware replaced

then I guess I'll have to bring your cell phone service ... damn ..

[HELP!] SGY GT-S5360 Fails to start

I'm really sorry if I asked this question again if it may have been asked earlier, but i really need to get answers ASAP because I could not use the internet all of the time.
Days after I rooted my SGY GT-S5360, it would no longer start and it would not charge either(both by charger method and PC method of charging) . I also tried going to Recovery Mode but then again it does not. So I tried charging my battery using a universal charger for a short while. After doing so, I placed again my battery to my device and tried turning it on. It would turn on but only until the "Samsung Galaxy Young GT-S5360" logo and then it would turn off again. I tried taking the battery out and then putting it in again, but the same scenario happens.
I am sure that I am not on a BOOTLOOP issue because it shows no symptoms of it. And I would not want to believe that I am Hard Bricked because my device still boots only until the "Samsung Galaxy Young GT-S5360" logo. PLEASE HELP ME WITH THIS PROBLEM
By the way, I have not flashed any ROMs or Tweaks or Updates on my device and I am still on my Stock ROM.]

Volume down + power + home
And then try to flash via odin

Samsung A20 semi-hard bricked

Please help ASAP. I tried to install lineage os with MindGapps. After I flashed lineageos with twrp, I rebooted it and now it doesnt turn on. I tried to go to download mode, but doesnt.
The phone doesnt turn on. When I press and hold power button + volume down button for 7 seconds, samsung+knox logo appears and then 'phone bootloader unlocked' warning appears for few seconds.
An hour ago, somehow I managed to open its download mode. To test how it got opened, I restarted my device, but unfortunately, I couldnt go back to download mode. Is there any way to solve this problem? I want to go back to download mode

Hold the volume + and - buttons down at the same time and then plug in the usb cable into the phone.

I have a question. did you install the twrp to one ui 3.1 ? pls answer me bc I wanna get out from the stock rom . I used gsi roms on my previous phone ( lg g3) and I was really enjoying while using gsi roms . now the one ui 3.1 has so many bugs or idk maybe they are only happening to me but I got really sick of that

I first flashed twrp-black or something and it didn't work properly so I installed twrp-official downloaded from website. But then, after installing the official one, the recovery got corrupted. I couldn't boot into downloadmode, but luckily, it was just some key combination that was wrong, so, with a right key combination. I booted into download mode and reinstalled the initial firmware.

Ohh glad to hear that you fixed your phone

Hello, I just finished to install LineageOS on my A20 and after reboot I saw the same message of Samsung Knox and the bootloader warning then a black screen and reboot automatically. Any sugestions?

Yes, it just looks like it is bricked but it is not yet completely bricked.
The solution was simple.
First, completely power off device (don't restart, just turn off). After that, by certain keys combination, go to download mode.
It seems it doesn't work while restarting but works if it is completely turned off.(At least in my case it had been so)

I do know how to enter in download mode, but even when I upload the TWRP again and start over the process it get into the same black screen. I was wondering if Samsung Knox is blocking this action.

I have a one A20(SM-A205F).And I when installing the rom with odin in device, I unplugged the device cable on pc. Since that time device no reaction.PC, seen one second device's processor name. Can I bring the device back to life ?
