Huawei P8 not detected by PC in Fastboot mode - Huawei P8 Questions & Answers

I use
adb reboot bootloader
to get into fastboot mode.
the display shows
"Fasboot & rescue mode
please connect and open Hisuite
LINK
phone locked"
I even installed the Hisuite, but nothing happens and
fastboot devices
returns an empty list.
when the devices is booted up, USB works like a charme - but in fastboot mode windows does not even detect a device?!
any ideas?

New computer Maybe driver help??!?!

I got a new Razer Blade 14 laptop. For some reason I cannot get the phone to enter download mode properly. It just says disabled and "Connect USB Data Cable".
I've installed the drivers and ADB software. I Have no missing devices in device manager. When booted into the OS and in MTP mode I can send adb commands and "adb devices" sees the phone. Its only when I boot into download mode that the phone says its disabled and to connect a data cable. So theres something up with the Fastboot/Download mode drivers is my guess. I just cant put a finger on the problem.
In device manager it shows as "Android Bootloader Interface" as the device. I'm using the stock nexus 6p cable. My usb drivers are up to date per intel. Computer has windows 10.
Please help!!!
If i put it in sideload mode it is also detected with ADB. Just not fastboot/download mode...
I managed to somehow fix it. I had the right drivers. But for some reason I left the phone in download mode. Then issued the command "fastboot oem ramdump enable" and then restarted the bootloader, now download mode is enabled and I can flash factory images etc.

Bootloop after fingerprint sensor and ROM died

Hello,

- fingerprinter died, then the phone always crashed with blue and green flashing lights on the screen and now a bootloop
- "stock" CyanogenOS installed, but no TWRP
- the phone gets detected by my computer (sound)
- i don't remember if usb debugging is enabled (probably not)
- the command "adb devices" shows my phone when its in ADB mode (recovery menu)

Did you also tried factory reset already?
If you have adb access you can only try to get bootloader unlocked which wipes all if not happened yet. Then you can try installing twrp and another rom and see if boot is OK.
If your bootloader is still locked go to service center if you have warranty!

Thanks for a reply,
After a full reset I have downloaded a twrp.img file for my device
I tried:
- command "fastboot devices" while in fastboot-mode (I pressed reboot to bootloader in the recovery menu to get there)
-> no device detected despite a sound after connecting
- command "fastboot flash twrp.img" -> "waiting for device" without any further reaction
My device is only detected in ADB mode, not in fastboot mode, how can I change that? I must unlock the boot loader in fastboot mode right?

Did you have actually drivers installed for fastboot? See guides like this http://forum.xda-developers.com/zuk-z1/general/guide-how-to-unlock-root-install-twrp-t3394037
Also qfil method can help http://www.androidbrick.com/lenovo-zuk-phones-qfil-roms-unbrick-guide/
But consider service center in case of warranty.
same problem. fingerprint died. then after a empty battery shutdown i face bootloop. but hopefully i have TWRP installed and i could recover my data. but i dont know how to access factory reset menue or install another fresh rom

LG Leon H340N fastboot not working

Hello!
I have a very big problem. My LG Leon H340N is "bricked" totally, there is only fastboot mode in phone, nothing else.
The problem is that fastboot is not working, when i try to execute some commands it all the time gives me answer: FAILED(Unknow Command) and i don't know how to fix this, i don't have access to download mode, i don't have access to hard reset menu, i don't have access to recovery mode, only fastboot
Could somebody help me ?
How did you get into fastboot mode?
I connect device and laptop via USB and device is starting into fastboot mode automatically.
When device is connected i open cmd (run as administrator) and C:\ cd adb = C:\adb> fastboot devices - and it shows me my device connected as fastboot device then I try to execute some commands but it always gives FAILED(UnknowCommand). The fastboot drivers are installed - original google drivers from android sdk. I'm using Windows 7 Home Premium, i try execute some commands on other laptop with windows 7 starter but the same thing - FAILED(Unknow Command).
Thank you for reply, Regards

Will 'adb reboot edl' Work For Mi A1?

I am trying to boot the phone into edl mode, with no luck, fastboot not working, so I try adb.
I realize you leave the phone on, but in developers section I learned to enable USB Debugging, and Select USB Configuration (MIDI).
adb devices shows the device, but 'adb reboot edl' just reboots the phone...
fastboot oem edl gives me - failed status read failed to many links
Hmm
P.S. After making this post I got it working with fastboot oem edl, even thought it gives the failed message. The key I realize is to make sure to have qualcomm drivers installed, but Windows has to run with digital signature verification off, so these drivers work, then in MiFlash, it detects the phone as COM4...

Phone is not entering adb bootloader

My phone zuk z1 which is operating in zui os not CyanogenMod.. someone in local service center changed this is.. which is not entering adb bootloader mode or fastboot mode .when I enter adb devices it shows the device..while entering
PHP:
adb reboot bootloader command phone starts showing Linux penguin logo and computer shows a message USB is not recognized. I installed all drivers and universal adb drivers...
Zui version:0.9.096
Is there any way to get into twrp to change os
Bro, i was stuck on the same problem and what I did was very simple. You just switch off your device and enter into recover mode, and from there delete the data and cache and restart will help you to run your device.
