If you want to root, use adb method or all in one tool, both are preferred methods

i have the same problem. I noticed when clicking on "oem unlock" and the warning-message appears that when you don't click on "cancel" or "enable" but somewhere else, the warning message disappears and the "oem unlock" seems like enabled (switch is turned on). However when i leave the menu and open it up again, the oem unlock is disabled again. Seems like a bug.

i found an interesting article about how to get past the locked bootloader:
http://www.tech-and-dev.com/2016/06...ing-to-marshmallow-zui-lenovo-zuk-z1.html?m=1
With this method it seems that its possible to get twrp on the device. But im not sure if i can install for example CM14 via twrp when i have installed it on the device. Im afraid to brick my zuk z1.

****TO UNLOCK BOOTLOADER*****
I AM STILL FACING SAME PROBLEM
PROBLEM IS STILL NOT SOLVED
THIS IS THE ALTERNATIVE
Its not just with cyanogen os
If you flash cm13/14.1 same problem occurs..
So here is what can you do download twrp qfil from below link
https://mega.nz/#!oB4jyJzR!YXegLqP9CkHZNhGklY0tBI8eh8meSo_rJZDKCDB2F5A
Flash it through qfil
Then flash zui 0.9 ther you will get unlock oem option

Even after unlocking bootloader
You cant flash COS using fastboot method
If you use all in one tool then you will get error as

And if you use commands then you will see error as

So use http://builds.cyngn.com/factory/ham/cm-12.1-YOG4PAS9IG-ham-signed-d4fc2c5394.zip

Switch off the phone... Hold Volume up and down together and connect to PC
You will be in boot loader or fastboot mode
But in cos, in developer option there is option for advance boot menu... U can turn on that...

Any solution to screen freezes after unlocking bootloader?

Did any one find the solution for screen freezes issue after unlocking bootloader? I want to install custom roms/kernels but can't do so

I found many users facing this issue.
You just need to flash the custom recovery and relock the bootloader again.

The phone doesn't boot if kernel and/or rom is custom(non stock based) and bootloader is relocked. It just shows a usb sign.

May be you are using an old file of tank042, some of the files available there are corrupted. Doesn't help to relock the bootloader.
I tried all possible solutions. Sadly, there's no way to fix this.

Possibly not a good solution. I have my zenfone that even doesn't boot. No fastboot, no boot and recovery.

Try the debrick method. It will recover the fastboot with its original source. Don't do this if your phone is not hard bricked.
It may brick your phone too.

Is my 6P hard bricked?

Today I tried to flash the Feb update using Flashfire, like I did every month since I got the phone. As usual I downloaded the full factory image, select boot, system, vendor, cache, bootloader and radio. The first phase worked fine, but when it came to the bootloader there was an error about not having enough space. After it rebooted, nothing... black screen with no signs of any activity, not even when I plug in the charger! Tried holding the power for minutes, with all vol up/down combination, but nothing worked.
If I connect it to my laptop it gets detected as the infamous "Qualcomm HS-USB QDLoader 9008" under ports. I tried an old guide that uses QFIL, but I believe I need specific files or firmware for the 6P to use with it. Do I have a pretty paperweight or is there any hope to recover from this? If it helps I have an EFS backup I made months ago with TWRP.
Any help or suggestion is greatly appreciated
try this if your stuch in 9008 https://forum.xda-developers.com/nexus-6p/general/howtos-debrick-nexus-6p-stuck-edl-9008-t3552838
Thanks for the reply. The first link with the factory firmware doesn't work anymore. Do you know where I can get it?
Type in "Google factory images for Nexus 6p " they are published by Google just download and unzip with 7 zip then put in a directory and adb from that directory.
If the bootloader is locked you might be screwed.
Normally the first thing you do is unlock the bootloader then root it and install whatever rom or factory image you want. But never locked the bootloader after flashing anything because of there's a problem you can't reflash if the bootloaders locked and if it blackscreens then you can't access developers option to allow the flash to happen

@MaxNXS you can download "nexus6p_fix_bricked" firmware using "Advanced Download Manager" ADM on PlayStore using its built-in browser with"desktop mode" enabled...
Worked for me...
Hope that helps...
I'm not sure if the firmware in question is the regular Google Factory Image.

Driver issue maybe
Ask @tenfar
Hey man. I'm in the same boat as you. Except the factory image flashed fine and I got into the OS as usual. But after starting the app updates, I tried waking it up 20 minutes later and nothing. Black screen since. XiaoMiFlash and QFIL complain about the usual sahara or firehose. Tried nexus6p_fix_brick and 8675_W00. Nothing works!
Mine went to update and never came on again. To top it off it was stollen from under my seat of my work truck so I have zero chance of getting another. Im all One plus from here on out. ?

It is advisable to have a Mi Account or Google Account on the device for reasons just like this situation you are in. Also, you don't have to turn on OEM unlocking or USB debugging to reset your device from a Mi or Google Account.
Lemme ask you something, how do I know you are telling the truth? How do I know this isn't a stolen device? Is anyone thinking that they may be assisting a thief? I wonder.
BTW, I was addressing the OP, not you. It seems you have taken over the thread from the OP.

If you completely lock bootloader and install stock rom and recovery, the message will go away.
Command not allowed means that the bootloader is not completely unlocked. Check your settings -> developer options -> enable OEM unlocking. If this is off, turn it on and commands will work

This will also remove the red warning probably
if you flashed something else you don't need to enable the setting, it will always stay enabled after the first time enabling it
I tried to flash many system firmware of p9 lite but just one worked (in this version they show me in the build number NRD90m), so I flashed a oeminfo and wanted to install the same version of the oeminfo but the forced update didn't worked, I think that my sd card is too slow (class 4). If someone have a solution for fixing this problem it would be great. Thanks for the help guys.

Samsung Galaxy A5 (2016) with FRP Lock

Hello,
I just flashed TWRP and LineageOs-v16.0-UNOFFICIAL from this https://forum.xda-developers.com/samsung-a-series/orig-development/rom-lineageos-v16-0-unofficial-samsung-t3892229 and after reboot the screens shows "Custom binary blocked by FRP Lock.".
I bought this mobile phone completely legal. I read a lot about this, but I do not really understand what the purpose this functionality has.
When I started flashing TWRP on it, I haven't done a "Factory Reset" in the original Firmware. So I of course don't know the Google Account from the previous owner. I also don't now why the hell the Google Account is responsible for this.
I read, that with flashing Stock Rom and activating "OEM Unlocking" and the problem should be solved. I have never heared of "OEM unlocking" before, on my other phones I don't even have this point in the developer options.
Is this the solution? And where can I get a Stock Rom which will work?

No you don't need payment method for downloading from sammobile, Only needed if you want to download at high speeds. Provide me the link where you found your firmware from sammobile. With that link, I can download it, upload it to high speed servers, and then give you the link where you can download. I am asking for the link as I don't know what country you live in and therefore don't know the correct firmware. By the what I mean SM-A510xx, replace the "xx" and give the country code or the country you live in so that I can find the firmware as the number you gave me (A510FXX7CRJ6) is not what I meant and that number is a firmware number and not the device number.
ok, so after your post i tried another time to get an account on sammobile.com and now i succeeded. So the download is running atm. But the next question is; how am i supposed to get by the FRP lock? Cuz i tried to flash TWRP on it with odin, but got stopped by the FRP lock.

No. You don't need TWRP to flash stock rom via Odin. Just get the phone into download mode and flash the stock firmware via odin. You flash it the same way as you flash TWRP but just use the stock firmware. Hope this helps. Also, please make sure that the firmware is correct and if not, your phone will be stuck in a boot loop.

You have two options. The google account has a cool off period and I read that if you wait 24 hours, the login will be gone. However, on old android phones, you have to wait 72 hours. But if you go to a Samsung service center, they will remove the logins for free.
I found this website where you can bypass the lock but I am not sure if it works. Do the samsung bypass and not any other brands. Try it anyway: https://www.unlockunit.com/blog/bypass-google-account-verification-factory-reset-protection/

Yup the download went very slow, took 2 hours to complete. So i succeeded with flahsing stock android on the phone. But when i booted the phone, it instantly told me that an unauthorised wipe took place and before i could continue with starting the phone, i had to log in with the google account which was on the phone before the wipe. So can any1 help me with this, cuz im out of options here.
