I've been waiting for so long but seems like it's never going to happen. I'd like to know why nobody seems to be interested in this model.
I don't know why I am not a developer but I have tried and failed if the developers can tel us how to port I can try
May be because no developer owns that phone and don't want to build a buggy rom.

I find some knowleage build rom cm13 for this phone.
The problem i dont have a computer to try ...
In my country have service lease computer... but i can't emulator ubuntu on this computer... so i can't do everything...

I see some tutorial build cm 13 not too hard
The problem i see have 2-3 way to build....
But i dont know what exactly how the file manifest work!!! ~~
And some dev in github say device-tree of them have error....
So if we build with my custom manifest (it have device-tree msm8916,kernel asus msm 8916,and vendor cm?)
We need edit something to make the phone run perfect... but i dont know what will we fix!

Ah..... a vendor .... maybe ...after syns vendor_cm in github,we need coppy vendor in phone ze500kl or ze500kg and replace in folder we already syns vendor_cm.....
Kernel maybe need download in asus and make it fit with kernel_asus_msm8916

You can use my kernel source (I'm building for Max).. Just change defconfig to your device.. Our device share same source..

We will have to wait for Nvidia to release Open Source items before this can be done. Hence why shaky etc are having issues with the custom recoveries.

Hey guys I need a kernel developer. I've got the device tree and vendor almost ready and compiling. But kernel is creating problems and my knowledge about kernel is almost none so if any tegratab users have any expertise in this field then do checkout the kernel and try to get it to boot and we just might have ourselves a working custom rom.

Some please help him with kernel... We all are waiting for cm or los on this device.. even cm12 will be good .. my device is in coma.. i am not using it at all.

if u talk about Z00LD my answer is "custom ROM on this phone dsnt exist". Yesteday i was create topic on forum Pacman ROM, (sorry, i havent permissions to leave a link ) may be u help me, and write somethg on that PACrom topic, and Dev's will hear us

Yeah. So first of all you need to get a copy of CM12.1 by Nick Verse, and then change the launcher.
Next step is to assign rom a good name to make people like your rom. Now you are ready to burn xda servers. Cheers

Patchrom building is really a hard pain to build
It is very sad that no one can MIUI port on our phone. My attempts to transfer to another phone miui ended in failure. Though it failed to start the phone, but not a single sensor is not earned as well as the camera.
Is any one here interested in helping me fix the MIUI 8 built for Samaung Galaxy J7 2015 .....It doesn't seem to boot up.... log cats are available in the link below....Just pm me for any solution...

You need to force permissive selinux, for the composer you can remove it or just use prebuilt one.

I have done the force permissive SElinux by putting a permissive file in ramdisk of boot.img and by the means of prebuilt hwcomposer do you mean the one samsung stock rom has...
