Delaying Android Lock - Galaxy Note 4 Q&A, Help & Troubleshooting

I want the screen to turn off after 15 sec, but the lock screen will appear after 5 min. Meaning that if I push some button after 2 min I will get to the last screen I was in and not the lock screen.
Is it possible?

Phone Locking problem

I'm running jack's ROM v2.
I've set the screen-lock to automatically activate when idle for "0 minutes". I expected this to mean that if my phone dims, then it'll screen lock.
But the problem is, after 30-60 secs (I haven't counted), it will screen lock. I've set the screen to dim at 3 mins, but the lock comes on a lot sooner.
Anyone have any ideas how to change the registry so that I can make the screen lock only when I press the screen-off button at the top of the phone?? Or at least make it screen-lock only when the phone naturally dims at 3 minutes??
Any suggestions would be great
THANKS!!
bump? someone?

Delay time autolock

I'd like to know if there is a way to decrease the delay time (in my case 15 seconds) from "autolock on" to device low power (when screen is black but always on) cos I want to save battery.
So the screen locks down after 15 seconds but I want it to set (f.e.) to 5 seconds or less_
Is it possible?
Bye

Status bar Notification and password

I realize that if i have password enabled on my device that every time i have to view my notification on the status bar and launch the app or text message, that i need to enter my password. Is there a way for it not to do that?
Don't lock the phone... Set the "automatically lock" setting in Security settings to 30 minutes, and "Power button instantly locks" to off. It will still lock after 30 minutes of sleep, but you probably still want that.

Can the amount of time it takes to lock be reduced from 30 minutes to 5 or something like that?
Yes, 30 min is just the max setting.

Always On Display Bug?

When I block my phone, the always on shows instantly and never goes off. It shouldn't turn off after some seconds? I waited for 10 minutes (twice) and the screen doesn't turn off

Screen goes off after 10 seconds of inactivity

I have set the display timeout to 1 minute of inactivity, and 30 seconds to lock after sleep, however my phone turns off the display after 10 seconds or so, but definitely less than desirable 1 minute. The "lock" appears to work fine (locks after 30 secs after the screen is off, just as set up). I'd really like to extend the time of inactivity, since 10 secs is not enough. Please advise.

Try changing to 5 minutes instead of 1 minute.

Thanks. I have tried several intervals up to 30 mins, including 5 minutes. No luck. The screen goes dim in about 7+/- seconds then turns off a couple seconds later. I have to constantly touch it to keep it on which is annoying. The power button brings it back on without authorisation if pressed in under 30 secs (lock after sleep).
Exactly the same behaviour when plugged in and charging.
Some people here complain about their phones not going to sleep unless power button is pressed. I am experiencing exactly the opposite problem. My phone goes to sleep sooner than it should.

Try rebooting your phone. If the problem still exists, then i assume that a factory data reset will solve it. Not sure though.
