Upgraded to Emui 5.0 and now can't root :/ !

Hello people !
so i had rooted my P9 Lite (VNS-L31C185B185 when i did !!! ) it was great...it was awesome !
and then !! i upgraded to Nougat (i used an app called firmware finder to get the B360 update )!!!
it worked !!! its great !!! i naively thought that i will flash and root my phone the same way... (i use adb and fastboot... )
ofc it didnt work.. i did some researches here... ended up trying the srk tool... didnt work... the gizdev... didnt work... and found the HassanMirza way but it included installing a TWRP that seemed a little weird to me... soooo...
could someone orient me toward the one true way to flash twrp and root my p9 with nougat update !!! or should i wait ?
TL;DR : once you upgrade your P9 Lite to Nougat ... how do you flash twrp and root again ? !!!
thank you people !!!
The only way to properly root a Nougat firmware on P9 lite is to flash the kernel by HassanMirza, so unlock your bootloader and install the Revolution custom recovery. Sorry but that's the only proper way to do it
Thank you for the answer! As I suspected it's too new to have an "optimized way" I will survive without root for a moment while this hopefully get polished out!! Will check from time to time thanks again my friend!

Root with Ver. NRD90M test-keys

I have a Huawei VNS-L31 and got the update to Emui 5.0. I have now the Ver. NRD90M test-keys. Is it possible to root with the same method that I used before on Android Marshmallow? I also noted that some people say that they're stuck on this version. Is this one somehow bad?
Thanks!

I have nouget too you can easily downgrade if you do it right most people just get it wrong and you can root with a PC look in the guides section of the p9 lite fourms and you should find it there if not look.uo a guide on google it uses a pc but there is no way to do it on the device its self after you've flashed AND booted into nouget as twrp is not supported yet you had to flash nouget and then flash an elite kernel to get root after updating you'll have to either use a PC or wait.

No, I know how to root on MM, but I can't downgrade cause my NRD90M test-keys version is not official.
I did not use the classic TWPR.
I have the same version as you and I put on the recovery Revolution with the root revolution and everything works very well ...
You have to flash the recovery.img in fastboot and here you go!
If you can not root I think you can change Rom without problem

method to downgrade from Android 8

Hi, I have a p8lite PRA-LX1, currently with build number PRA-LX1 8.0.0.360(C738). In order to unlock the bootloader I want to follow https://forum.xda-developers.com/p8lite/general/alternative-method-unlocking-bootloader-t3799294
My first challenge is downgrading to Android 5. I tried the eRecovery-method via Huawei Firmware Finder but only got "Getting package failed". DNS was set correctly.
1) Is this method not working with Android 8 anymore?
2) What is an alternative method to downgrade that works with Android 8?
3) Do I understand correctly that "C738" identifies in which way the firmware is branded? Can I only install C738 firmwares or any for PRA-LX1?
Best, fklein
Hi,
Did you find a way since this past year ?
I've got the same problem here with this version PRA-LX1 8.0.0.402(C432pacth01).
