FIFA 16 - Moto G4 Questions & Answers

Does this game work smoothly on this phone? Thanks.

I only found videos of someone playing the game on the G4 Plus on youtube. They share the same cpu and gpu I believe.

Yes, they share CPU and GPU, but differ depending on the internal storage and RAM.

All about pixels and ram

is there any change in phone with
-change in pixels like 540x960 or 480x 800
-any change is appreciated with pixel density increase or decrease
- for a best phone, RAM must be 1gb or 768mb is considered
-any change in 3d motion of a phone is seen with dual core processor than single core
- 1+ ghz cpu is enough for awesome gaming in our sg3

you can't change the resolution dude, .. but you can change the pixel density by : root explorer --> system --> build.prop --> ro.pixel.density=200
btw,. even in a phone with 768mb ram, you only get 230-240 mb free
by using task killer pro max --> set to ultimate --> reboot --> 200mb free ram = same performance witha device having 768mb ram
and overclocking to 1.2ghz when you play games is more than enough !!

1) yes more pixels mean sharper graphics on your phone. if u compare our phone to a high end one with 800x480 resolution or more there is noticable difference. but after 800x480 resolution , u wont see as much improvment as our eyes arnt micro scopes ;D
2) same as one. if res is more, more pixels are squeezed into the same screen
and the density increases. this makes MUCh sharper and better screen .
3) same as pc. for any device more ram = faster device. ram is high speed temporary storage that a device needs for running. more ram = more memory can be kept in high speed so faster performance.
4) 3d motion and gaming is handled by a gpu (graphics proccessing unit) that is seperate from the cpu. better gpu = better 3d gaming. cpu can be dual core but if gpu is weak 3d performance will reduce. sadly our phone has a weak gpu.
weaker than other phones of even its own price range. if u compare ours to galaxy 5 which is cheaper and has slower proccessor it has better gpu so it plays games better.
5)at 1ghz it plays some hd games smoothly. but still very weak and ur phones starts to get hot. at 1.2ghz it plays many hd games or any game smoothly.
but it is nothing compared to most other phones. the most demanding games still play slowly and stress the phones alot. so dont expect awsome gaming even at 1ghz + .
hope i answered ur questions
hit thanks if i helped

Starcraft 2 on Microsoft Surface

So the Microsoft Surface Pro is using a 22nm i5 Intel Low Power Ultrabook Processor, all models of this processor have the Intel HD 4000 graphics processor integrated, I looked up the benchmarks for the Intel HD 4000 Graphics (http://www.notebookcheck.net/Intel-HD-Graphics-4000-Benchmarked.73567.0.html), and with the lowest model of the processor we should be able to play Starcraft 2 (and other games) at good FPS on low settings(Or at higher settings on a lower resolution)!
Personally I love this! :victory:
What do you guys think?

my acer w500 and its 1ghz c60 apu w ati radion 6290 graphics card can run starcraft 2 on low settings well
if the surface pro couldnt run starcraft 2 well on the same settings than there is gonna be a problem

What problems? And Im speaking in the sense that it is running on 1920x1080, the w500 goes at a max of 1280×800. If the Surface ran at that res, it could probobly play medium at good FPS, or maybe even some high settings.
SC2/D3 on Surface
www[dot]youtube[dot]com/watch?v=r2HLgffmTZ0
Video of SC2 working on an i7 with HD4000 graphics, also D3 is in there. One thing to consider is that Blizzard games are traditionally very CPU heavy, and less so intense on the graphics card.
That being said, do all ultrabook i5's have HD4000? Because for the desktop, the 3770K is the ONLY model that has HD4000, the rest are HD2500 which is a significant downgrade.
It would be interesting to see SC2 run on the Surface. Im sure it would be able to run, but the experience wouldn't be as great as on a desktop with a decent graphics card.

I guess it would be cool, but still needs a keyboard/mouse to play, so why not just a laptop?

Dual Mali 400 poor visual quality

Hello people,
My tablet has a Dual Mali 400, Cortex A9, 512 MB DDR3 and a 800 * 480 display resolution.
At first, the game menu appears rightly, like this: (please replace [DOT][US] with .us )
imageshack[DOT][US]/a/img18/5295/screenshot2012122316173.png
But, when the game actually begins running, this is what i get:
imageshack[DOT][US]/a/img18/5295/screenshot2012122316173.png
The problem is persistant with all HD games, while some of them work better, but the visual quality is disappointing. Do you know why the HD games won't display properly? Is it because of the poor resolution? Or the number of bits are the concern?
I'll appreciate any help

Even u had dual mali 400 it waste of gpu because to show HD quality atleast u need tablet with Dual core procesor , HD resolution (1280x720) and 1 GB ram to run smooth with HD android games

Sony Xperia Z Graphics Chip and GPU question

Hello, i own the Sony xperia z mobile phone. I want to know how many cores or processors the GPU of the phone employs.
As far as i know, the phone has an Adreno 320 Graphics Processing Unit clocked at 400Mhz.
Also i think there are many version of the adreno 320 video chip but some people tell me there is only one.
So i would like more information about the GPU. I also want to know the amount of video ram or video memory or VRAM the graphics chip on this device has to store video memory or pixels/memory for images.
I know that some phones can use the RAM for storing images like a buffer or a cache memory instead of their own video memory using NOP tecchnology.
I know what vram is for. Its like ram but it holds the pictures or pixels info for the pictures the gpu is processing like the hard drive.
However, VRAM is used instead of ram or hard drive to make information processing faster.
So ram was made to store settings and temp data of programs so that they can have faster access.
So just like that there is vram and it may also be on the same chip of the GPU for the adreno 320 video chip.
So, basically i must know the amount of graphics cores or processor the GPU uses and also the amount of video memory it uses to store all of it's graphics or images.
Do you know the scalibility of this gpu and the max frame rate of the gpu. Also does it support open gl 3.0?
Thank you

Impressed with the performance in games.

My relatives lent me their nvidia shield and I got to say. Despite the Shield having lower scores in benchmarks in 3Dmark, antutu, geekbench 3, and slower day to day use compare to my Exynos Note 4. I was surprised that I get better performance with the shield than with my note 4 on PPSSPP (psp emulator). Games that were unplayable, I was able to play at full speed or close to full speed now.
Whats the "secret" to the Shield's gaming performance? Is it less thermal throttling due to the heatsink? or is it due to it's powerful gpu?
No CPU throttling, 720p screen can be the case
