[Q] BUG TRASFER FILES : Media Server Bug but... not always !!!

Hi all,
I'm trying to understand better this Media Server Bug that hangs copying file from / to PC / G2...
It sounds strange but... this bug is not present on each rom
With unofficial CM11 like unofficial AOKP like Bare Bones like other, NO WAY. Every time I try to copy more than 20 / 30 Mb, copying hangs...
BUT WITH PARANOID ?! Yeaaaah, it works without problem. I've tried to copy music, avi, apk, office files... from 10 Mb to 10 Gb in a single copy. Perfect ! No problem ! So... What is the secret of Paranoid Android rom 4.4.2 based ? It's possible to merge this miracle in other roms ?

I can never transfer files smoothly between my aosp room and my pc, even when I'm using paranoid kitkat beta 3 atm. Apparently its a huge MTP. People have been complaining and google says theyre looking into it. But if anyone knows a universal fix, please share.

Really strange man !
Paranoid for me is the only rom with no problems about transferring files ! I've tried this with my 4 PCs, W 7 64 Bit, W 8.1 32 Bit, W 8.1 64 Bit and Linux Pinguy 13.10 32 Bit :good:

got some problems with the miui v5 for note 3 n900

unable to connect to internet when i download themes or any thing related to miui rom like fonts and all.
and i cannot save the screenshot as it says the storage may be in use i reboot still the same problem exists
last i update apps from playstore or download images and videos from whatsapp+ please some1 help me with this thanx in advance.

[Q] Cannot download official ROM from MIUI

Hello people,
Did anyone try to download an official ROM from miui.com? I am trying to upgrade my Redmi Note 4G Global Single SIM to MIUI V.7 for a few days but unsuccessfully. Zip file downloads maximum 20MB and then failure. Download speed is unconstant - from 0kb/s till 200kb/s, sometimes lags and freezes. Looks like servers are under maitainning. Could anyone confirm or decline this? Internet connection is good (100mbps).

For the past 2 weeks I also have the same problem. So I use a VPN service to make my IP from China or India or Japan and then I can download with high speed! The free VPN service that I use is VPN Gate. It helps a lot if you use a download manager with resume function.

help with porting lineage rom from smt377p to smt355y

Managed to get this rom booting on a samsung galaxy tab a 8 sm-t355y
Used kernel files from rom stock (zimage.dtb+ramdisk.gpio) i think lol
And some ramdisk files from lineage sm-t350 (fstab)
Some other files cant remember off the stop of my head
Alot was similiar had no pc so used android image kitchen (android version)+(root explorer)
Already installed latest twrp
Rooted by kingoroot got lucky tablet was on android 5.0.1
Transfered to supersu
Problem is i get no sim card and no network signal
Not the most experienced user
Any thoughts or idea or anyway i can get the network and sim to work would be great can supply more info am not used to using forums much so appologie in advance
And hope i put this in the right area

I know it's been two years, but @Ausint88, were you able to make any headway for this device? Working wifi is good enough for me!

XASP Support for Mi 6

Hello Folks,
I'm planning to support the Mi 6 with XASP and i just need the Camera Media Profiles Config File from a AOSP based ROM of Your Device. Could anyone pull it and upload it here for Me!?
Should be in /system/vendor/etc and/or /system/etc...
I'm also searching for a Maintainer for XASP. If someone is interested just PM Me and i'll share the Details with You (You just need to repack/upload from GitHub using a Windows PC or Android Phone once the Month)
