1. First download rom to your pc
2. When you download rom open in winrar and check pack

TWRP/BACKUPS/YOUR SERIAL NUMBER/ and here you must put downloaded backup
3. Download backup for your mate7 and extraxt to desktop

How to reanimater your mate after bootloap???
We have 2 methode for now.
Firts it's restore twrp backup and secend its fastboot and downgrade pack
If you use twrp backup and its work very good for you but if dont work you must use fastboot method
1. Power off device and go to fastboot
2. Extract file from update.app for lollipop :
- system
- cust
- boot
- recovery
- userdata
for Marshmallow extract :
- system
- cust
- boot
- recovery
3. Install adb drive from this topic
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?p=48915118
and copy all file to C:/adb on your windows
4. Open CMD as administator and write this commads
cd C:/adb
adb fastboot
Now you on fastboot mode
When you extract file frome update.app you must rename file :
10.boot.img to boot.img
11.recovery.img to recovery.img
13.cust.img to cust.img
14.system.img to system.img
If you remane you can flash img file using fastboot methode using cmd
fastboot flash boot boot.img
fastboot flash recovery recovery.img
fastboot flash cust cust.img
fastboot flash system system.img
It's take very long but wait. When its finish take micro sd adapter and put you micro sdcard and connect to pc and copy full rom :
If you use lp file because you have bootloop on lp you must flash that same rom what you flash file using fastboot
and do it that same for marshmallow
when you copy put your adapter to slot of microsdcard in your mate7
Now power of your phone and try go to flash method using 3 bottom on you mate7
VOL+ POWER + VOL- when you seescreen on realese power and wait. Now you see how rom its flash.
If you have error you must use downgrade pack from mm to lp and flash.
When its flash you must flash lp.
If you have error you must use downgrde pack from lp to kk and flash.
When its finish you must flash kk rom.
Now you back to rom after bootloop and you can try again flash rom what you want.
Finish guide for noob
Cheers :highfive:

Thanks for the guide. I want to restore to MM from kk using twrp? Is it possible? I only wait 5 minutes after restore reboot then I think something must be wrong so I restore my own backup. I will give a try again.
Sent from my HUAWEI MT7-L09 using XDA-Developers mobile app

No you can't do it you must first flash kk second lp and then you flash mm

Hi buddy, your guide is gold. I explain what i did up to now. I wanna know how to proceed safely.
1) 2 year old MT7-L09 Mate 7. Long time ago i go bootloader unlocked, rooted and updated to lollipop stock. dont know which firmware version.
2) TWRP 2.8.7.0. Wanted to factory reset after long time no using the phone, ended up wiping OS and god knows what else.
3) Can access fastboot and TWRP.
4) Tried stock recovery and 3 button method to downgrade or install stock update.app. Nothing worked it always got stuck at 90%.
Up to there nothing worked. I guess i must have damaged some critical files.
Then i found your guide and wanted to try making a lollipop restore from TWRP. Found a file.
Now, if i understood what you have written in red, i may have wiped oem information like country and vendor. Maybe thats because i cant install stock from huawei.
How can i restore that info? is there any way i can backup my bootloader info, or retrive my country and vendor info?
How do you suggest me to proceed safely.
Thanks
Sebastian

Im form Argentina. Phone was bought in US. I dont mind putting any country version as long as i can bring it back alive.
Luckily i have saved phone imei, serial number and id in evernote. Maybe that can help to figure it out.
Do you have a procedure or guide to do that you are suggesting?

if you have unlocked bootloader you can try use SRKToolHuawei-Lod-Chong-V2.0-20161002 to change oem info and then try flash correct your rom using dload method. But if you change region you must unlock again bootloader but when you go to fastboot you have unlocked. Unlock again because its locked

Restore L14 back to stock after a bad flash or if you do not like EMUI 5

Last night I tried to root my device and ended up bricking my L14 honor 8. After several hours I finally got restored back to EMUI 4 then updated back to 5. Because of how difficult it was to find exactly how to do this I have compiled an exact how to of how to restore your device along with an all in one download.
1. Flash the stock recovery if you currently have twrp or something else installed. In the compressed file this file is labeled as STOCK RECOVERY.img. To flash load fastboot then use the command "fastboot flash recovery "STOCK RECOVERY.img"" without the outside quotes
2. Create a folder named "dload" on a micro sd card. This folder is where you will copy your update.app files for recoverying
3. Copy the update.app from the rollback folder to the dloads folder on the microsd card.
4. Boot up the phone while holding vol up and down. This will put the phone into image restore mode. If the file is in the right location it will start loading the image. Once it finishes loading the phone will reboot. Once rebooted copy the other update.app from the mm folder to the dload folder on the micro sd card. Then reboot the phone again to restore mode. This will load the default stock image the honor 8 came with.
Download Link: https://mega.nz/#!vtQxDC4S!e-8bT-IkTWW5NFk1NNttNM-8-_NKXk6GxUGNL9yZ64k
Will I have to relock my bootloader in order to apply the update.app? In the pdf file you provided, it says to "Make sure your phone system version has not been unlocked or rooted," but I just want to make sure before I do this.
It will relock your bootloader once you flash the stock mm fw.

Do you know how to root L14 with MM and EMUI 4.1? I have just successfully unlocked the bootloader using Huawei MultiTool but the Root permission menu is confusing. I don't see any "US" version in the option. Do you have any idea?

Any help for my Nova plus ( MLA-L03) bricked

Any help for my Nova plus ( MLA-L03) bricked,
Im with a bricked unit (nova plus MLA-L03) . i cant find on all web page firmware Any help for restore my phone pls .
I will detail here what happened to my own bricked Nova plus (MLA-L03) and how I got it working again, with the help of a lot of comments from this forum. First you should know that when asking such questions it is advisable to detail your problem and what led to it, so that others are willing to help without having to ask for additional details.
I got soft-bricked after installing twrp and formatting the /data partition (wrongly thinking it was only userdata and that nothing could go wrong) so I could then backup the partition for future use. Basically what unbricked was flashing these 3 partitions from a full firmware release: /recovery, /boot and /system and I believe this is the only thing required, so you may try that first. I am not an expert and I would also like to know if the other steps may have contributed to the unbricking.
-Through TWRP I restored the stock recovery and the /data files from Bluesmoothie's backup (look in the TWRP folder, also you might have to create a backup yourself to generate the correct file structure), but that didn't unbrick
https://forum.xda-developers.com/showpost.php?p=70197735&postcount=99
-Then I found files for my device (MLA-L03) from the Huawei Firmware finder available here:
https://forum.xda-developers.com/tools/general/huawei-firmware-finder-team-mt-t3469146
-You can also find the firmware from this site but it is a hassle to search through everything:
http://hwmt.ru/oth/HWFF/info/view.php
-I downloaded the firmware called MLA-L03C6540B300CUSTC654D001 (the update.app file inside the .zip is actually 3.8GB and my understanding is it is a full OS, not merely an update)
IMPORTANT: using this firmware will install android 7 nougat and you may not be able to go back to android 6. Also as of this date you will not be able to use TWRP to backup you data partition and others, and I think that you cannot modify the system partition also (not sure, I would love to be wrong)
-(Not sure if it is worth mentioning but I tried to unzip the update.zip and put it in my sd card in a folder called /dload and boot by pressing all 3 buttons (boot to stock recovery) but the update got stuck, wouldn't go over 36%... I had also previously tried this with other zip packages for my device but none of them got over 12% or 30%)
-Then I used the Huawei Update Extractor (link right below to extract recovery.img, boot.img , and system.img from the update.app file extracted from update.zip.
https://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2433454
-Finally I flashed these 3 files with fastboot :
fastboot flash recovery "[filepath to recovery.img]" ( example: fastboot flash recovery "C:/my documents/recovery.img" )
fastboot flash boot "[filepath to boot.img]"
fastboot flash system "[filepath to system.img]"
-After I also did a factory reset, but I don't remember if I let the system boot completely before (I don't know either if it makes a difference... I hope someone here can answer)
Good luck!

don't even try to change oeminfo, it will brick your phone network security
changing region on qualcomm devices is not easy, its complicated thing and involved paid tools
its better to see a professional to do this :good:

[SOLVED] How to unroot, relock bootloader and flash EMUI ?

Hello,
I tried to flash the RessurectionRemix ROM and it was working well except the LTE so I decided to get back to EMUI.
Problem, i took the backup of bluesmoothie and flashed it but the phone never finish to boot.... (I didn't wipe anything, i thought that the restore function of TWRP was doing everything, am I wrong ?)
Moreover, the TWRP recovery can't access the content of my ext sdcard where the RR ROM is located and even if i put this rom to internal storage, i got the ERROR 7 (this is for deive: can; you have generic_a53)
Do you know what can I do to :
- Come back to EMUI
- Unroot the phone
- Re-lock the bootloader
The files of the TWRP backup are located on the sdcard, if i wipe data/system/cache, will it delete these files ?
Infos :
- Bootloader unlocked
- TWRP of Garak (but still have ERROR 7 now)
Thank you very much
First you need to flash the stock recovery in fastboot. After that you need to put the update.app in a folder called dload in your internal storage.

Okay but where can I find the stock recovery ?
Then, do i have to flash it via ADB like i did with TWRP ?
After that, where can I find the "update.app" that you are talking about ?
If i'm right, you're telling me that i can't go back to EMUI without flashing the stock recovery ?
That is correct. First use firmware finder to get the update.app. There is a firmware extractor tool for Huawei firmware. Use it to extract the recovery.img and flash with fastboot.

First of all, thank you very much for your anwser, it's very kind of you.
If i understood everything, that's what i have to do :
- Download one of the Huawei firmwares with Huawei Finder (Better get the B100 or another one ?)
- Extract the recovery.img with the update.app from Huawei Finder
- Flash the stock recovery with ADB
Then :
- I put the update.app that i get through the Huawei Finder in the dload folder of the internal storage (If i flash the stock recovery, will I be able to put files in the storage ?)
- I reboot the phone in recovery and normally, it should install the EMUI rom
At the end, my phone will no longer have a custom recvery, bootloader unlocked and root status ?

Yes, that's correct. But you have to put update.app in dload folder on your SD card as far as I know. That's how I did it.
I couldn't find B100 on Firmware Finder and I've got relocked bootloader on Nougat.
Yes, you will need to copy the update.app to internal storage in TWRP, then flash the stock recovery. After flashing you need to hold all three buttons when booting (just like getting into TWRP. After update you will have no custom recovery, no root, and it should lock bootloader.

I still have the warning message "your phone is unlocked", is it normal ?
When i boot into recovery it's displaying "eRecovery" and ask me to download the new update of recovery but it fails when getting the package. I can only reboot and turn off :/
Thank you as always

You shouldn't have that message anymore.
Are you sure that the update.app got installed? @wangdaning told you to put it on dload folder in internal memory. I don't know if that is right or if it works, but I've put it in dload folder on sdcard when I've installed update.app.

The problem is that the phone doesnt finish to but anymore... i can't do things in menu.
When you talk about SD card, it's the external sd card ? Because i don't have access to it anymore, but i have the partition SD Card
When you installed the B340 update, you seen the percent growing up and had a "success" message ? Because, for me, the update is stuck at 5% and then it reboot the phone

Yes, I mean external sdcard.
Reinstall TWRP and restore bluesmoothie's backup and then flash the stock recovery again.
I didn't have any issues with installing the B340 firmware. It was installed successfully.
Try to follow the steps I've used. You shouldn't have any problem.

Okay i'm going to try it right away
My external sd card doesnt show up anymore when i connect it to my PC, i don't know why
I mentioned internal SD card because you said your external was not recognized, but you might try putting the dload folder on external. I have done it both ways. Sometimes the update through stock recovery is finicky. If it doesn't finish run it again. Also, make sure your USB is disconnected, as may Huawei users have mentioned this causes it to freeze. If it still fails, try dloading a different update from firmware finder.
Did it work?
I didn't have so much time these days but I did it and it worked for the 1st part (flash bouesmoothie's backup). Tomorrow I'll do the final step! Thank you again
Here I am :
1 : flashed stock recovery from B350 and i don't have the "unlocked" message anymore !
2 : The update B350 made it, "update success"
3 : It doesn't boot for now
4 : The boot doesn't end
-----
1 : flashed TWRP recovery, launched a factory reset in the same time
2 : Phone booting again on B100
-----
1 : flashed stock recovery from b350
2 : flashed b350 update
3 : Everything is fine !

Updating Asus Zenfone 3 Zoom ZE553KL by TWRP : some errors and difficulties

From the first time i was not able to upgrade my phone to another new version of Android.
The phone was bought on chinese store with Android version : WW V10.40.47.107 (Android MM)
When i checked availability of new versions, phone showed me no result available.
Then following instructions i unlocked bootloader and then install TWRP as recovery system.
I tried to install updates of ROM downloaded from Asus website using this methods with this results :
installing by TWRP with ROM transfered to internal memory of phone KO
installing by "ADB sideload" command KO
I partially resolved after many attempts updating only to Version V11.41.87.2 (Android MM)
I solved in this way :
i used TWRP installing from file transfered directly in microSD
i extracted from zipped file "updater-script" file that is possible to find in the following folder path :
META-INF > com > google > android
and then deleted this rows :
(!less_than_int(1494697617, getprop("ro.build.date.utc"))) || abort("Can't install this package (2017年 05月 14日 星期日 01:46:57 CST) over newer build (" + getprop("ro.build.date") + ").");
.....
getprop("ro.build.asus.sku") == "WW" || abort("Please use the right SKU for updating...");
.....
and then save file extracted and compress into zip file.
During TWRP install process i got some error updates, it seems connected to System folder/partition update
but at the end i was able to update Android to my phone
I tried to do the same method with an other update Version V20.32.67.25 i got a corrupted System folder/partition
It seems essential to update this phone to use original recovery system. Can anyone give it to me?
Or is there someone who has been able to install updates using TWRP without any error ?
Also after installation I wiped the Boot, System, Data, Cache partitions and then I restored from Nandroid backup done by TWRP.
But the phone did not start at the reboot.
I then had to reinstall the update with the method described above to get the working phone back
Why did Nandroid backup with TWRP not correctly restore the phone?
Many thanks to anyone can help me

There is a link to a rom in this post. In that zip you will find recovery.img. Flash it with adb, like you flashed twrp.
Then you can flash the last M official rom, and subsequently the first and last N roms.
That's the way I did it. I had to end up wiping data, to make it work correctly.
I'm also looking for a Nougat recovery.img.
I wouldn't like to go thru all the process again if there is another update.
Good luck.

i think you need flash full firmware bro ,
1. Download newer version firmware
2. You need Convert system.New.DAT to system.img
3. Move system.img and boot.img to minimal adb & fastboot folder

Just to let you know I did this then downloaded each update from Asus website. You have to do it in order ie newest MM to oldest N to newest N. Takes a lot of time but it works. I now have N on my phone.
Thanks everyone for all your help.

Dear boss , please give me Asus Zenfone 3 Zoom Nougat flashable Rom or any easy solutions........
???
After 11 hours trying out finally solved!!!
I originally just wanted to do a factory reset, and swiped then not only data/cache, but unfortunally - because of lack of expirience - also system partition. After that all the problems occured like described above and partitionally in https://forum.xda-developers.com/zenfone-3/help/unbricking-zenfone-3-ze552kl-dm-verity-t3563970 (there was no OS anymore, twrp warned me this every time I wanted to power off, but I couldn't install the firmware again through fastboot neither through twrp -> install zip; have got error 7 or 6).
Afer a lot of fears and hours of trying aroud possibilities above as well as ideas from articles here:

I have finally founded a solution!!! This is in FIRSTLY restoring original recovery and just then flashing the stock ROM. Here the steps to do for it:
a.) Download original stock rom (raw-version!) from https://cloud.mail.ru/public/HuMJ/wEybSNsQA (raw is to flash through AFT - asus flash tool) or from any other source you can find online; official name seems to be "WW-ZE553KL-20.31.49.2-MR2-user-20170620235128-release_raw.zip"
b.) Exctract and move recovery.img to your adb-folder on PC
c.) Boot your phone into fastboot/boot mode, connect to PC through USB-Cable
d.) Run cmd in adb folder, then type in the command "fastboot flash recovery recovery.img"
e.) Reboot and choose recovery mode - now you have no twrp anymore, but the original recovery menue
f.) Install update, which means, original stock from your sd-card.
Be happy!
It would be nice if you could give me feedback, whether my solution was helpful for you, because it took time to write it and hope it will usefull

Boss,
This solutions can work with ASUS ZENFONE 3 ZOOM.........???
I have ZenFone 3 zoom. Already I successfully convert CN to WW Rom by following this introduction ... https://forum.xda-developers.com/zenfone-3-zoom/how-to/transfer-cn-rom-to-ww-rom-ze553kl-t3612990
But, I can't update android nougat any way. I convert system.new.dat to system.img...... And try to flash it but unfortunately that's not working......
Please help me .......:crying:
Yes, I did it with my Zenfone 3 Zoom (ze553kl). So, you have firstly to flash the original recovery - to find, as described, in the raw stock rom zip archive. Or, you can find all original recovery's also here: (not tested by myself) https://mega.nz/#F!p90wgAaY!l1JbJilmAUEKTKWu43pT9w
Copy recovery.img to adb-folder, then flash it in fastboot mode in the cmd with "fastboot flash recovery recovery.img". Also copy the original stock rom with Android N to your sd-card and put it into your phone.
Then reboot your phone into recovery - now you have no twrp anymore, but original recovery. Install now the zip with Android-N-stock-firmware from sd-card. Enjoy!

Boss ,
Thank you very much ...... Your solution absolutely excellent and work very well . I am very happy for your support . But unfortunately I found new problem on my phone ...... After update nougat a white line found on the display......
How can I solved it .......
Waiting for solution.......
Thanks again for your support ........
Glad to hear, that it worked for you as well. About white line I have no idea, but on other pages I have already seen somewhere, that other users also reported about this problem. Try to look at google "ze553kl update white line". You can also search a solution for ze552kl instead of ze553kl, because, as far as I know, the ze552kl (ZenFone 3, without "Zoom") is almost the same device, just with a little worse cam. Therefore, it seems to be longer on the market and to have more users, so there are also more solutions for problems which can occure to this device in the internet. Wish you a good luck!

Very helpful, thanks!
I must've messed something up when I flashed TWRP.
TWRP ran fine, but when I tried to start it up, it stayed stuck at the Android logo.
Then errors popped up when I tried to install the stock rom through TWRP.
I never would've thought or had the guts to restore stock recovery first.
This should get its own thread.
Edit: I think my mistake was unchecking "Mount system partition read-only."

i think you need flash full firmware bro ,
1. Download newer version firmware
2. You need Convert system.New.DAT to system.img
3. Move system.img and boot.img to minimal adb & fastboot folder
4. Open minimal adb & fastboot
5. Flash boot.img and system.img

After many days i finally found enough time to try to use your tips.
I tried to convert system.New.DAT to system.img but without success using this program Autotool 3.0
http://www.droidviews.com/convert-and-extract-system-img-and-system-new-dat-files-on-windows/
After this attempt i used a ROM provided by chinese store to flash its content :
system.img
boot.img
recovery.img
Original recovery.img is essential to install other updates.
After that i tried to install other updates recognized directly starting by phone but always without success.
So i have had to install updates using original recovery tool.
Now i got Android 7.1.1 last version installed on my phone but it's impossible to use
TWRP recovery tool.
Obviously it's possible to install TWRP instead of original recovery tool and also possible to make a nandroid backup
but it's impossible to use it to install original ROMs released from Asus and it's not possible
to use to restore nandroid backups.
Is it eventually possible to use a custom ROM ? If it's, which one and possibly compatible with TWRP ?
i solved issue of update, but TWRP ?

After many days I finally found enough time to try to update my Asus Zenfone 3 Zoom to Android Nougat.
To solve the issue, I used an original Rom from the Chinese store because it contains useful files for purpose without any conversion:
boot.img
system.img
recovery.img
I flashed all 3 IMG files.
Recovery.img that it's necessary to get original recovery without which any update can be done.
You must use a microSD and the original recovery tool to be able to upgrade your system.
The problem is that it does not seem possible to use TWRP. It is possible to install it in place of the original recovery and you can do also a nandroid backup but in practice you can not use it to install any updates and restore any nandroid backups.
Is there a custom rom that you can use instead of the original one?

Hey dude,
i searched a bit for the correct OEMinfo file to convert
your phone from L21 to L31 version, but your CUST (C185) seem
to be non-existent at the moment...
Sincerely i never seen anyone doing this kind of conversion, but it may work...
Under your responsibility and my guide, you could try to convert it to the European CUST (C432).
If i'm correct, your device is running android 7 and it is single sim, can you confirm this ?
So, if you agree and will not point your finger at me (for a bad scenario), i can tell you how do this.
Cheers

Dude you have to use a custom recovery (TWRP)
to be able to flash a different oeminfo file
and the appropriate firmware.
So you need to unlock your bootloader first.
When you done this come back for the files and the guide...
The European no brand firmware will not lock any sim
and i'm pretty sure your sim will continue to normally work,
but it's your choice, you can ever keep your device as it is...
Cheers

Dude,
you have to not worry about twrp, firmware and oeminfo...
i can provide you those files.
Remove all safeties (pin / pattern / fingerprints),
possibly do a backup of your most important files
as unlocking the bootloader will factory reset your device.
When you're ready I will tell you which files and the guide to convert ...
Cheers

Dude sorry for answering you late,
i'm little busy atm.
THIS is Hassan's 3.1.1-1 recovery, your TWRP;
Your dualSIMC432OEMinfo.zip file;
This is HuRUpdater04 script (zip) file;
The Firmware (latest VNS-L31C432B418),
they are three files;
1 - update .zip;
2 - update_data_full_public .zip;
3 - update_full_VNS-L31_hw_eu .zip;
Let file 1 the same name,
rename file 2 from update_data_full_public TO update_data_public,
rename file 3 from update_full_VNS-L31_hw_eu TO update_all_hw.
Names must mandatory match the ones I wrote, otherwise it won't work.
This is the procedure:
Use your PC, make a folder and rename it L31C432B418.
Copy files 1-2-3 (renamed) and HuRUpdater04.zip file into that folder.
(if you want you can keep the TWRP copying the .img file into that folder too).
Copy the folder into the SD.
Copy the OEMinfo file wherever you want into the SD.
Put the SD into the device...
Reboot into recovery and format DATA
(wipe>advanced wipe>tick data and tap format in the bottom right> type 'yes').
Reboot again recovery and wipe everything except SD
(wipe>advanced wipe>tick everything except sd).
Go in main menu, tap install, find and select OEMinfo file, let it flash...
When finished go in main menu and select REBOOT then Bootloader.
Once booted, connect the phone to your PC and
unlock again the bootloader. (quickly disconnect it from PC)
Device should automatically reboot into the recovery otherwise you can do
holding vol + and power button.
Now tap install, find your L31C432B418 folder,
select (only) HuRUpdater04.zip file and let it flash...
Your device should reboot into the system correctly,
if not (if passes over 15 mins) reboot into the e-recovery and
do a factory reset + wipe cache.
Done !!
i did what you told me using this method https://forum.xda-developers.com/hu...ite-upgrade-rebrand-tools-pc-t3778839,ulocked boot loader installed TWRP recovery than used oem info for L31C432 and i download last full ota firmwire for it !!worked fine
