[DISCUSSION] [Port] Sense 3.0

From a lot of user requests i am opening up this thread for everyone to have dicussions especially non-development related. Please keep the other thread clean in the Development section and make all your conversations here.
Currently we dont have a booting sense right now. Once it is available i will post the link in the main thread.

thanks for doing this. and personally id love to see htc sense being ported somehow someway. i know xda is a one bright community that can go head to head with android. some of forums here might have noobs but some don't. i love my samsung for now and id love to see sense. once i do ill be like woooo. but thank you guys for the hard work and will keep close eye on these threads. thank you all

I have zero interest myself sense is a resource hog big time but i do acknowledge that some people would like to have this and im sure in time it will happen.

Dear Devs,
I know the ground rules. I just have a suggestion. Working on Sense UI 3.0, well it might succeed but there will be some of the features not working due to lack of compatibility. So it might be a good Idea to tweak and modify the TW 4.0 so it may behave and look like Sense UI 3.0. As I said just a suggestion.

You guys have lost me. I am not a girl but I do have 2 daughters. And besides what does this reference of "why is your name not green" have to do with me making a thread about a eBay seller selling refurbsihed xperia plays? I don't get the connection and don't know if you guys are just trying to be immature on my expense, meaning are you two attempting to make a joke of me? If so then I do not appreciate it, I merely saw the deal and thought I would share so those who may be interested could look into it. If I am wrong and this is not an attempt to make fun of me then clarify the reference in regards to my name not being in green.

I looked up TLRtheory on the xda site from my laptop and I do see his name is in green. So perhaps thatbis what they meant. I have not been contacted and offered to have myself listed as a recognized member. I always thought that was for devs who make roms and whatnot. I have next to zero programming. But I do strive to share anything I feel is noteworthy or for those why may be interested in it. I don't do this in hopes of any reward. I do it simply because I feel as I have no way to make a rom or whatever that its my only means of giving back to this community. Because truthfully this community is awesome. I have learned a ton here and have nothing but gratitude and appreciation for all the mods, devs, and basically everyone being a good sport and working together to help one another. I'm just a regular Joe doing what I feel I can do to give back by any means. And sharing any games, apps, news, and deals is what I do. So anyways sorry for that long chatterbox but just want people to understand why I share things like this.

Sorry I wasnt upset by it just didnt understand the reference, and sometimes it can be difficult to understand when someone is making a joke when your reading it an not hearing or seeing their expression. I have had times when people have been mocking me on here, not lately, when I thought they were kidding only to find otherwise. So if I over gunned it a little I apologise but I just didnt understand what the reference was to. Now I do. So if I bothered anyone for my previous posts then I apologise.
Now..... dont know if the ebay seller is still selling these refurbed XP but has anyone purchased one from the link above?

Order vs. Chaos

I do not know if I missed something essential but I really would appreciate if the admins of S3 I9300 would split the developer thread into two threads. One which hold all the ROMS and another that hold all the MODS, KERNEL, ETC.
As the thread grows its getting more and more cluttered. Sometimes I just like to brows through the ROMS and try some of them out and sometimes when I am satisfied with the current ROM I would like to gather some random mods.
A question: Does anyone know how to mod the CM10.1 so that I get more reboot options and more importantly the option to shut down apps by holding the back button?

All forums on XDA are similarly ordered, to not be chaotic. Just read the description of each subgroup, to find what is where. It's pretty self explanatory really. Also read the stickies that lists and links to popular ROM, kernels, themes etc.

CM has hidden the reboot options toggle in the dev settings. Higher security and all that.

I do see what he means, for example the XDA app search is terrible you can only search they entire board not specific forums which makes looking for something on your phone a nightmare.

The only forum that is on tapatalk I use right now is XDA, the XDA app is based on Tapatalk anyway so it's technically just as good, the only reason Tapatalk will be better is because it supports more forums.

If I'm not mistaken Hamdir said he was quiting XDA due to the S4 versus One conflict on both HTC and Samsung forums. I took a peek at the allowed S4 vs One thread on Samsung area and it is a shame that there's plenty of trolling and One bashing over there.
Hamdir's Quiting thread was here just half an hour ago...maybe he deleted it, i don't know, i don't see it anymore.

Hello all I took the chance of buying a super fake galaxy s5 and now I can't find this type of battery anywhere can someone please tell me what type of battery is this where it can be found... And why in the bloody hell would someone make a battery like this
P.s. if you don't know anything try to refrain from leaving senseless comments as to not clog up this post. Oke do what you have to do, i just reported this thread. It is not related to the S5 as you have a cloned/fake device that only looks like a S5 a bit. Might as well have posted this question on the M8 or G3 forum.
Please no PM`s, post everything you have to say here. I did help you, use Google to find more info about your question or contact the vendor (if they even reply that is) or manufacturer.

Its not personal towards you, anyway hope you can find a battery for your phone but probably it will be very hard to find an original one.

I understand your point of view but ive never seen anything like this and Just wanted to gain a little knowledge,and wanted to know (if anyone had seen anything like this and could possibly explain it to me) from genius reputable sources that I can only get from here. I apologize if this thread got anyone mad. I do not support secondhand,fake,nor bootlegging in any way,...especially when it comes to my electronics. I didn't notice until it was to late and have now encountered a minor situation I know one of the genius' here can shed situation on.
