I cannot seem to get the unlock bootloader page to load on Huawei's website. It keeps giving me a 'Server too busy, try again later' message. I have been trying for 2 weeks.
Huawei's support doesnt seem to understand me via email.
Is it being blocked somehow by my ISP? i havent seen anyone else report on this
i don't know if i can... some moderators maybe can shed some light.. if i make a thread to help others to unlock bootloader's and they give me their phone info's... on private of course, it's prohibited?

After the first few pages of input, all it does is tell me that my email is already being used. I would create another Mi account to try but I don't have spare phone number. Yeah that's what I did in the OP. I guess I'll just wait till I get a new number next month and try with a new Mi account.
New versions are locked.
You have to apply for unlocking which is random and probably a dead end.

I'm trying to follow the instructions for unlocking the Huawei recovery partition. I am able to get to the huawei bootloader unlockingregistration page (sorry, not allowed to post outside links) and proceed to the point of receiving a confirmation email. However, when I click on the confirmation link, I get a "connection was reset" error.
Just wondering if anyone else has had this issue, and if you've been able to find a workaround? If not, is there any other way to unlock the bootloader/recovery? Thanks!

I just got the Honor 5x and the site didn't work for me either. I paid the $4 and it was worth it.

yep. if u want bootloader unlock code, you may email them or ask them on twitter or any of their social media. pm them.

Received an email from Huawei South Africa, they are no longer providing unlock codes. Tried attaching their reply here but couldnt
Can a kind heart please help me get my bootloader code? I tried the unlock site but couldn't get through (Error 404 Page not found).
Contacted the Huawei Support Team but they said their server for boot loader is under maintenance and will be up again next month.
You can try to send an email to huawei and thell them that you want your code.
But I ask them to give mine and they never respond.
I ended up paying 4 euro to DC unlocker and get my code.

Thanks for your response. I did contact Huawei but they said their boot loader unlock servers are down at the moment and cannot help me. Also I don't have access to pay DC unlocker. Can you help me with that please?

Did you sign up already? Just enter your login details and it shall take you there. I used Google Chrome on my PC to view this site.
If you still can't access the page then PM me your phone's details and I'll do it for you.

Rip Huawei unlock bootload service will never return against and go buy DC Phoenix Unlock

Yes, you can still get the code and unlock your bootloader. But now you have to use third party software and pay some money. I got my code for 4 euros, that's about 5$.

You don't have to follow this guide step-by-step if you know what you're doing. And no need to download the hcu-client, as recommended by the poster. You can get your code by just using dc-unlocker.

Use the Hicare app and ask them for the code. Hicare->online assistance. I ask them if after the site shutdown they would still be possible to give me the unlock code and they said yes.
