Hi everyone!
Yesterday i got a new phone and like my other devices, i want to root it to delete all the unusable apk's! The only problem is that i tried everything but no success! there are many ways to root, i tried all them but the phone don't want to get rooted!! :crying:
I have android 4.1.2 installed and the software version is E61020a-268-06
I tried also the KDZ updater to downgrade to 10a but no luck too, always get an error and KDZ closes!
If some1 had the same error before and then successfully rooted the phone, please let me know how did it!

today I went to downgrade my L7 from Carbon ROM to V20A with CWM/ROOT by Homero using KDZ and when phone restarted after upgrade it got stuck at LG logo, so I tried flashing multiple times but it didn't succeed.
I couldn't even access the CWM, I tried almost all unbricking solutions.
Now I tried even with official LG Mobile Support Tool which updated firmware to V20D and it won't boot up.
a) Is there a way I can back my phone to get it working myself?
b) How much will the service cost as my warranty expired?

I tear off my set & found several things
1. My back cover, settings > Software info & booklets shows it D802, while internal plastic is labeled as D800 & Motherboard is D801 T-Mobile. Look like some company is selling T-Mobile as D802.
I read it on this forum that if flash D802 rom on T-Mobile D801, then need to reload Kernels of D801 too after flashing D802 rom. I tried flashing D801 kernel in recovery mod but it gives error "E invalid certificates" or something like this, I also tried flashing D801 stock rom, but LG Flash Tools 2014 gives error at 2% (Phone disconnection & sometime "Connection to server failed"), however, LG Flash Tools flash D802 without any issue.
Now, can someone tell me how to flash D801 kernels after flashing D802 rom? Or how can I flash stock D801 rom?

I am facing quite odd problems. please help me.
I have LG G2 D802. My software version was d80220b while when I attached my mobile with pc, pc suite notify me that d80220c is available. I upgraded. But after upgrading, touch is totally out of work. Say like below, I tap "7" & it goes to 2, 3 etc. I select say first option, it selects 4th option.
Also, one more thing, my mobile is 32gb variant, while now it's showing only 10.7gb.
Three Problems total
1. Touch totally disturbed
2. Storage reduced from 32gb to 10.75gb
3. Service Disabled (No sim is working :'(
I think it's due to some rom issue, can you please guide me or send me link for the correct ROM for my mobile?

HI Kernol,
I have done it like 5 times, I flash stock rom & hard factory reset but still same.
There was not a single touch issue in the last 2-3 weeks, but it immediately happened on OTA upgrade & on start/configuration screen

Then I flashed kdz 5 times but still same issue

try install a custom rom
may problem ur stock g2 version or something in kernel or baseband or touch drivers

I tried many custom roms, but they are in .zip instead of kdz file
Can you please let me know how can I reload them? I am using LG Flash Tool 2014 which supports kdz only. I can stuck at configuration windows just after LG Logo. So, cannot access anything in mobile like Developer tools etc

u can't reload this at this moment
only way to fix this its only by kdz
but whats rom version u have before installing update
& u tried to flash kdz version u have in ur phone before ?

My phone had d80220b how LG PC Suite find an update d80220c & did this on my mobile.
Now, I have tried both d80220b & d80220c downloaded from links posted in last post but I am still having same problem :'(

Try to update the touch drivers, just dial 3845#*802# go to settings and then update touch firmware

Do you have a Bluetooth mouse? Or do you have a chance to connect via lg on screen phone?

Hello everyone, I have the Verizon LG G2 and it thinks it's a different g2. I have edited the .tot's to other device models and it still won't work. I have followed many threads and none are working for me. I also did try the .kdz method which kept getting stuck at 2%. I also do not have twrp.... My question is is there a way to install twrp right from download mode to try to flash the right software to get it working agian? Or does somebody think they can help me figure out the problem with the download mode restore?
Hi Guys! i wanted to tell you from the start what i did and what happened so you guys can help me easier.. i know i did alot of stupid stuffs that i shouldnt have and i regret it so much!
first of all my old LG G2 D802 screen crack (only half side work) so i bought a new one from Tradera (its like Swedish Ebay) so i got a another LG G2 modell and its D800 AT&T so i rooted it and installed TWRP so i could restore everything i had on my old phone to the new one.. but thats where thoes mistakes began..
i changed the backup folder name so i could restore it on my new phone it succeed BUT the phone rebooted immediately booting into fastboot mode.. i googled and found how to fix the fastboot mode so i followed the steps and its alive! but when i tried to flash firmware it says the device is D802.. so i downloaded D802 firmware and flashed it with LGflashtools2014 then i was so happy when it alive again.. but the touch screen was acting funny.. its became wierd so i couldnt do a thing on it..
so i tried to flash back to D800 but it wasnt that funny, i couldnt find anyway until i find a thread that it says u can use hex editor and edit the .tot file so u can CrossDL back to D800.. i did that but after i flashed it failed at 98 or 99% and it says something i that i forgot..
after that i tried to reboot the phone and now its on Bootloop and its stuck on download mode (the small picture b4 u are fully into download mode) every time i reboot the phone i see the android icon its like when u reset the phone.. i dont know what else i can do..
i hope u guys can help me bring back my G2 to life thx you guys so much for paying attention and sorry for bad english <3
