I think you should not remove "EmergencyModeService" because without that, Ultra Power Saving Mode won't work. Otherwise, for people who do not use it, it can be removed.

You should also remove system32 folder in your computer

There are two ways out of this.
1. Unblock the contacts app
This option should be self-explainatory, but in case you don't know watch the video on how to do that.
2. Find an alternative
There is a site called ApkMirror. Go on there and download and install Google's contacts app.

I just tested the file replace and it works perfectly, perhaps you forgot to extract the "updater-script" from "updater-script.zip".
About the factory reset you are correct, so if you don't do one it will work more than ok.

I think that if you install the "xBloatWrRemover.zip" right after the factory reset it will fix it, because it clears the TWLauncher cache also.
Or you can use this "TWLauncher Crash Loop Fix.zip" i just made; It just removes the TWLauncher cache without removing anythig else:

It also has features like freeze or remove any system apps.

Don´t delete it. Freeze is more better and safer. Try to freeze it in setting at the first of all uninstal updates. Or try link2SD to freeze.
Or use towelroot and Titainum backup

[MOD] Flashable update.zip to debloat Sony Z2 Tablet

I used to use freezing in titanium backup to try and cut down some of the Sony bloatware. The advantage is that it is kept when flashing new FTF images, the disadvantage is that the apps still run and FC! I've made up a zip file to delete the system apps from the tablet that annoy me that can be flashed from within recovery. I have an SGP512 running the UK customisation. SGP511 devices will be the same, but SGP521 devices may not be and phone/mobile data stuff will be removed.
I've taken out nearly all of the Sony unnecessary bloatware except for those needed for USB, MHL, NFC, PS3 Controller connection, home (even though I use novalauncher), basic music playback with the walkman app (go into settings and disable music unlimited), basic video playback, keyboard (even though I use Swiftkey), Screen mirroring, themes, smallapps, I also got rid of the unnecessary google/android apps that can be installed via the play store and just kept youtube, keep and maps. I also deleted the retail demo video and several of the apps in the customisation folders. I moved the smallbrowser app into system as well as the diagnostic apps as they were stored in a random place and not actually installed on my device.

I've tested it on mine and it runs fine, but before you do it for the first time I would advise making up backup in recovery and/or use titanium backup to backup the system apps. I used this excellent software as well as titanium backup to see what apps were installed and what files/packages they related to. If this breaks your device I will help you here, but I take no responsibility for your mistakes. Flashing the FTF image over the top of it will reverse anything this script does without touching your data/settings etc anyway. You obviously need root and a custom recovery installed. Ask questions about that in the appropriate threads here and here. All you really need to do is enable USB debugging, and run the easyroot tool twice, then the lockedrecovery installer.
Any issues, or suggestions of apps to remove please let me know. It took me a while to build up the list and get the script working properly (damn semi-colons).
I prefer to remove the bloatware myself to get my units as I want them, but it's great to have your list to compare with.
Thanks for your effort!

Yeah it's quite a personal thing, but this has saved me lots of time having a zip to do the work for me now so I thought I'd share! I very picky about getting the most from my devices, I also use Autorun manager to stop lots of them starting automatically.
Did you know you can disable system apps in the factory app manager inside the configuration menu of your tablet?
Titanium backup sometimes causes some problems when freezing apps, but the official app manager works every time.:good:

Thanks. I didn't know that. I assumed they used the same method to freeze/disable apps because if I freeze something in titanium backup it shows up as disabled in the system settings. It's too late now I spent hours building this update.Zip, but useful to know for the future!

Anyway thanks for your effort, it is always nice to see someone working in this awesome tablet, and i am sure some people will find pretty useful your .zip file to fully debloat in a single shot.
It's because I've become addicted to flashing ftfs but don't want the bloat that comes back every time!
needed for z2 phone

Use ES-file explorer to browse to /system/app and /system/priv-app and see which apks you want to delete. Then you have to edit the file updater-script in the zip I made to delete those files. Use this tool to rezip it and flash from within cwm. Make a nandroid backup before doing this!
If you didn't understand anything I wrote up there you shouldn't be doing it or you need to do a lot of research first!

how do they limit your access in the store
Sammy
about localisation restriction/ if you want have samsung app of an other country it's easy : you have to remove sim, wipe data of samsung app, use vpn and that's it But it will revert back after you put sim (if no sim it stay)
NB/ maybe if you have the opportunity to had/remove sim when phone is already boot and inside (for s5 you can if you have a dual sim adapter), do the trick, and when you got the country, add sim.
Mr G
just change your localisation in wallet, but take care because now Mr G don't like that (privacy and legal ... ), if they block your wallet account just send them your ID papers ect,
contact them via ''account recovery google'', they unlocked me so many times lol they are very cool love google

Try to Use App Eater for enabling apps. (App Eater=>Settings=>Show system apps)
GOOGLE NOW LAUNCHER - Need to enable Google search
ANDROID WEAR - Need to enable Motorola Connect, and maybe something more.

maybe you meant Wireless display ? Need to enable the folowing apps:
com.motorola.wirelessdisplay.client
com.motorola.wirelessdisplay.service
com.motorola.wirelessdisplay.widget
Because Active Displays is working, and you can set up it in device settings.
Moto Droid Mini Deabloated
I've executed the script and now I got ~395-410M of used RAM, on a rooted Moto Droid Mini.
I'm almost happy now how my Mini works, it would be better if I would be able to unlock it fully to a CM12 Android 5.1
Thank you.

No, I meant active display. But nice to know those things.
Sent from my XT1030 using XDA Free mobile app
Moto Droid Mini Deabloated [ Update ]
Moto Active Display isn't working.
Which services needs to be enabled to make it work ?

Still not working with those enabled, but I found out how to enable the calculator, it is an useful little app.
Does this script work on SU6-7?

SU6-7 it Android 4.4 so it works
Moto Droid Mini Active Display
Found out after some time how to have it back properly.
The required apps are:
com.motorola.slpc
com.motorola.slpc_sys
com.motorola.aon
com.motorola.aon.env
I also have reactivated:
com.android.calculator2
com.android.calendar
I used version 1.3 of the script. I looked at the script before running it, and it looked like it was just freezing apps. My moto connect stopped working. I unfroze all apps using titanium backup, yet connect won't work anymore. any suggestions to try?
Try to reboot your device after unfreezing apps.

i've rebooted many many many times. i edited the script and changed "pm disable" to "pm enable" in every line, and still not working. i uninstalled the extension and re-installed many times, i've wiped data in the connect app many times. i reverted the connect app to the system version. unlinked and re-linked my email to motorola ID. i've tried everything i could think of.
it makes no sense to me, but it stopped working right after running the de-bloat script and it refuses to come back.
If you enabled all packedges and rebooted device than reason is not in a script. Wipe data also restore s all packages state.

sure, except it stopped exactly at the time when i ran the script and it had been working before for a long time. If I was gonna wipe data i'd install a custom rom with all this stuff already disabled, i like not having to setup all the settings in all my apps again, which i've not needed to do since i got the phone in August of 2013.
Hey guys I'm new to XDA and in search of help.. I have a Droid Mini (4.4.4) Verizon series. I have got it unlocked to use international carriers sims. I cannot find a way to root my device and remove the bloatware or flash custom made roms. The build is SU6-7.2
I'd be obliged if received any help.. Thanks
