Galaxy 5 got mobile odin...

I saw in the mobile odin thread that it added support for galaxy 5. But why our galaxy 3 still not supported ?? A lower model than ours has both official rom manager and cwm suupport and mobile odin support, and ours has not....

He (chainfire) said that he needed a new dump of the phone from v 2.0.
No one must have submitted it from our community and thus no support.
On the other hand the galaxy 5 user must have given the dump

Taked from mobile Odin thread:
-A G3 user: I see in your signature that you have the I5800, why you don't suport it ?
-Chainfire:Because I cannot do any testing on it, because the USB is damaged. So one bad flash, and the device is a brick.
-Me:If you need something, you can ask to us, the G3 community.
I don't think you make the test yourself for all the mobile suported by mobile odin, so we can make the test for you
We really want Mobile Odin for G3
Then nothing ;(

The SM-N900V is a USA Verizon only version and no such named version exists. The closest is N900VVRUEOF1
That is available at www.sammobile.com, you have to be a member to download ROMs but membership is free.

The version you see in the About page in settings is read from a file called build.prop under ro.build.display.id and can be anything anyone with root privileges can change.
There is no "official" Verizon firmware by the name you posted. The actual value ro.build.id is LRX21V
So the OF1 build on sammobile is what you want.

Believe it or not its completly stock non rooted and running this version , i saw it with my eyes and checked it if it was a custom rom or something.
Anyway seems that like i believed this version doesnt exist and i can understand what this rom is

That is NOT an official Verizon ROM. That is a modified ROM that added your language (Greek?)
Who did you buy the phone from?
My GUESS is some shop that bought old US phones and refurbished them and put a modified ROM on it with different language packs.

Thats my guess too, but hiw they did it ? With jtag ?

I'am searching for a simple custom rom with Android lollipop or better the new marshmallow rooted and with all the function of the note 4 (pen, fingerprint, heart rate sensor ecc...) but stable and with an acceptable battery life. Can someone give me some suggestions for choose a best rom please?
Thanks to all.

Thank you for advice JagDave, in this days I try and I let you know. But I have a quick read of the topic and there is some problem with CSC, I have first put the stock rom after do a factory reset and after put the new rom.

Is not as complicated as it seems. Inside the zip file is a file called options.prop. Simply extract that to the root of either internal or external card and edit the CSC in there. When you open it you'll see what I mean.
Then when you flash the rom it will use that info. If you don't extract or edit the file, the rom will use whatever CSC you are currently using.
PS Don't forget to flash the CP & BL files with Odin, or you will get a boot loop.
