Recently started getting weird gradient in most apps - X Style (Pure) Q&A, Help & Troubleshooting

Can close the thread. Still don't know why it happened but a restart fixed it.
-----------
Is this a known thing? I first noticed it in the Google Messenger app but it seems to have spread to most apps. I'm running stock (MPH24.49-18) without root on Verizon.
Included Tapatalk screen as an example, can barely read the recent changes block in the play store due to the gradient.

Ok, that's really strange. Phone had been running for 400+ hours so I went ahead and restarted it. Now everything looks fine again... even the screenshot I attached to this post.

DolphinHD power leak? Fresh1.0.1 with netarchy3.7.3c

I can't pinpoint where this started exactly.
I went from 'starting over' with the 1.47 w/root to eventually Fresh1.0.1 and netarchy 3.7.3c and DolphinHD has been killing my battery, whereas previously I had never seen this from SpareParts:
i cant post images apparently or even links so add i26 and i32 respectively to these pics:

I'm baffled. I'm going to uninstall and reinstall and see if that works, but its been this way for a few days.
uninstall, reboot and reinstall showed the same things. next test will be uninstalling all the addons to dolphin and try again. what a PITA.
still no resolution. im at a loss. anyone want to jump in and save me?
Brett will!

The last digit seems blocked by something. Is it common or just me? This error only happens in landslacpe mode. I tried to reset everything but still no luck.:crying:

Crap. I just noticed mine does this too.
Not rooted.
Sent from my Nexus 7 using xda premium
I just sovled the problem... I set the font size to "Large" so there's not enough space on the screen... solution is change font size back to normal.
I think this bug is really stupid, seems like Google didn't test this rom very well before they released it, because they shouldn't allow such an obvious bug to happen. Hope there will be further updates to solve it.

[Q] Anyone else see the problem here?

i just finished a whole ordeal after getting my phone fixed of putting cm back on now i noticed something odd

You're likely on a 4.4/kitkat rom, Google Camera was released a couple weeks ago to all nexus and google play edition devices.
It's also optionally available to oem KK devices.

Sudden Battery Impact

Battery problems are a dime a dozen, I know, but this one cropped up in the last few days and I want to check if it's affecting anyone else.
I have a stock, 5.0 I-9505G, and the kernel (Android OS) and Android System have spiked in usage the past week. I suspect it's connected to a Google Play Services update, but I haven't seen other reports on it.
Anyone else's stock kernel acting out? What would your all recommend?

It's caused by an app, some setting in your phone etc. If you can't figure it out, then try a factory reset.
