Can't vouch for how accurate the information is, but here's what Frequency Check says:

Here's what Frequency Check says about specific compatibility of XT1643 (not very sure how accurate they are) :
https://www.frequencycheck.com/comp...moto-g4-plus-dual-sim-lte-32gb-xt1643/germany
AFAIK, unless they're locked on OS or firmware level, the device radio needs to support bands you're looking to unlock.
You may also want to check with your carrier, given online information may not be up to date.
Thanks

open dialer and dial *#*#4636#*#*
select phone information
then on top right you will see 3 dots. open it and select radio band.
it has many options select what you want but careful.

Also i have looked and I need The LTE Band with 800Mhz, but The XT1643 doesn't Support it. It is possible to unlock LTE 800 in The XT1643? The XT 1642 Supports LTE 800.

It may be too late to reply but you can change it using a script. I did it with mine and the network problem was fixed to Indian baseband

How did you do that?

guys, there is a very specific instruction on xda (please search) to unlock all baseband, for all regions, be careful

I have changed the NV codes in an US baseband phone (XT1644), to try to add one EU LTE band that was missing (band 20). The "change" was saved, but the band is still not working.
Some hardware pieces (RF amps) are also needed to be in the hardware for that to happen.
Now, the bands for the Indian model are: 1(2100), 3(1800), 5(850), 8(900), 40(2300)
In EU the most used LTE bands are 3 (1800), 7 (2600) and in rural areas 20 (800MHz, low bandwidth).
Those are given more exact here: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/List_of_LTE_networks_in_Europe
I doubt that band 7 can be added.

[Q] Xperia c5306 Flashing basebands from c5303

My problem is I have a C5306 that should be running basebands lte 1700/2100 but its not it is only connecting in 2g and will connect to 4g if those bands were enabled.
The hardware is the same in the phones right? So I could take an .ftf file from the tmobile c5303 and use it to flash the basebands only on my c5306.

I'm with c5302 and I've flashed c5303 firmware no problem! If both software and hardware cover the same GSM networks then yes, it will work.
2G - GSM 850 / 900 / 1800 / 1900
3G - HSDPA 850 / 900 /2100
4G - LTE 850 / 2100
Those are the bands that will work with your 5306, with 5303 firmware I think.

Then flash the tmobile 5303 tft and you're Gucci! :good:
Good luck hacking and slashing your device's software, it's always fun! :silly:
Is there any way to view the basebands of the firmware file without having to flash it to your phone?
well the tmobile ftf file didnt change the basebands back to looking for another one that has the right basebands. any advice?
I had a similar issue. Am in Canada and have a 5306, wanted to upgrade to 207 but the Canadian version wasn't released yet so I flashed the Orange 5303 207 FTF, but I couldn't get any cell access. I flashed back to 205 and then flashed the same 207 rom again except for the basebands and it worked perfectly. So, in your case you should be able to just flash the basebands from a 5303 rom.

Domestic Unlock Question

Hello Everyone,
I currently have a SPH-L720 that I performed the international sim-unlock on and currently use it in the UK. I plan to use it when I return to the states on Verizon, but am curious if I need to perform the Domestic Sim-unlock and change the LTE bands under the hidden dialer menu or should it work automatically since the phone is currently carrier unlocked and then only need to change the LTE bands? Thanks!

It doesn't support the Verizon LTE bands to begin with. Pretty sure you will never have 4G, if I'm wrong kindly point me to the info.

Ah ok I was under the assumption that I was able to modify my LTE bands as I saw on an S5 tutorial.

Would you mind linking that tutorial? As far as I know you can only change them to bands that are already supported by the device.

Hello.
The Nexus 4 never officially supported LTE. Some people discovered that there was partial support in the chipset and figured out how to enable it. However it only works on a limited frequency range and you have to know if the cell sites near you have the right frequency band. I never bothered figuring it out for myself as HSDPA+ is fast enough for me and I only have a small amount of monthly data to use anyway.
You need to use older versions of the baseband/modem as the most recent ones disabled the possible LTE modes. Whether older versions of the baseband are compatible with community ROMs based on 6.0 and up I don't know. I haven't seen any discussion for a while now. Phones with good supported LTE have been common for a long time and I suspect anyone who really needed LTE has moved on.
Band 4 LTE works just fine, problem is, I think Tmo in the US is the only carrier that supports it (thankfully I am in the US and on T-mo in that case). Any ROM with a Hybrid Modem will work. I am on latest 7.1.1_r4 Nitrogen OS and is works fine: http://forum.xda-developers.com/nexus-4/development/rom-nitrogen-os-n-substratum-10-09-2016-t3459341
Make sure LTE shows as enabled: http://forum.xda-developers.com/nexus-4/general/updated-zip-one-lte-enabler-flash-one-t2358931
Hi
Good news!, in latest 7.1.1_r4 Nitrogen OS, this ROM has build.prop modified by default with LTE option enabled in mobile network menu. But this ROM has modem device only for 3G, so i flashed this file and 4G LTE it's back again on band 4!

My SMG note 3 (n9006) have 2 LTE bands (band 4 and 13) but these bands are not available in my country so I can't pick up 4G with this phone!
All LTE band available in my contry are B20 and B4

SM-G950FD missing GSM850 band

SM-G950FD missing GSM850 band
My S8 is missing GSM850 band. I probably never noticed that, but the problem is that this is the only working 3G band in the area I live now. I forced to use my older SM-G850W to get my service. To my understanding, GSM850 just disabled on this Russian variant. I have already tried to Odin similar ROMs from South Americas (same CSC: FOX) with no change.
Device Model: SM-G950FD
AP Firmware: G950FXXSBDTJ1
CSC Firmware: G950FOXMBDTJ1
CP Firmware: G950FXXSBDTJ1
Firmware Country: SER
Is there any way to get GSM850 enabled? Is flashing with G950FOWT9DTF1 possible? Will it help?

Technically the S8 with Exynos (like your device) should support GSM 850 MHz.
You can try to set the mobile network mode manually to 3g or back to auto - see my screenshot.
I did everything but it seems like the band is physically disabled (please see my initial screenshot)
The only way now I can imagine is to change modem/country...
