I dont want to brick my phone again, can someone tell me the steps for the procedure?

Yes, it simple: you have to use search function in CM 13 Official / Unofficial threads, where the question has been answered... I don't know, too many times.

upgrade your phone to latest lollipop first, but i suggest latest RR N 5.8.3 or latest AICP 12.1 . Both of them are builded by @Has.007

Well if bootloader can be unlocked, rooted and has twrp then yes. Can ask other devs but they won't have the device and probably won't do a blind build.

I have SM-A500FU and I'm using stock ROM 6.0.1 rooted. First I want to remove some system apps but I'm not sure on what to remove and what to keep. Do you have any suggestions on what is safe to remove?
Also I've seen that there is not any stable and full working android 7 ROM (correct me if I'm wrong) Is there any good 7 ROM out there?
Sorry if my questions are stupid but I'm trying not to brick my phone.

You can try the Resurrection Remix Nougat 7.1.1 Rom for your Galaxy A5 Sm-A500FU.
Resurrection Remix ROM
It was made for the SM-A500H but it will work with the "FU" too.
I installed it on my SM-A500FU two weeks ago without any problems.
The only thing is that NFC doesn´t work. But I don´t need it.
I hope this is " stable and full working " enough for you because i did not found a better Rom with Android 7.
If you want a more stable ROM with Android 8 you should try this:
LineageOS 15 ROM
You can remove every Google App from you Phone like Hangouts or GMail.
You can try my Lineage 14.1 ROM, which is android 7.1.2 nougat.
It is designed for a500fu

The ROM is very stable and suitable to be a daily driver. Some features like NFC I haven't tested but should work, I only built this yesterday

I have the Resurrection remix custom rom (6.0.1) and i want to update and get the Dirty unicorns rom (7.1.2) so i want to know if i must do something before flashing the rom (like update to 7.0 flashing a stock) or is that simple as flash the custom even if is another android version, i dont want to brick my phone or something like that, i'm kinda noob for this things My model is XT1641 dual sim, and i have been looking for a good rom and i think that DU is a good one, anyways thanks for helping me.

Nrml flashing couldn't make any problem that to be said from nougat to oreo since for now they have same baseband ver. but for you definitely flash stock rom first(nougat) via adb or twrp both work fine. There is difference between baseband in mm and nouhat and will create problem to you in future

As the post above states ensure you flash the stock nougat ROM before flashing nougat custom ROM. Flash stock nougat, reflash twrp, wipe system, data, cache, ART cache and then flash custom ROM.

As others have said, I would like to say you should update to N. As otherwise you might face a few issues namely baseband and fingerprint. The problem is a big MIGHT but I would recommend updating first

On Xiaomi.eu you have 12.5.2 Stable for long time (I'm on for the months):

As I wrote, I use it for months on my daily driver, and if you search in other threads you will find many other users escaped from stock to Xiaomi.eu for various reasons / troubles with stock MIUI 12.2
