BT-200 with Wireless Mirroring Adapter EHDMC10 to see what the user sees ? - Moverio BT-200 General

I am trying to find out exactly what the "sink" function in mirroring adapter does for the BT-200. I understand that getting the "augmented view" of what the user sees may be difficult. The augmented view is a combination of see-through and what is on the display.
But, does the wireless mirroring adapter, EHDMC10 atleast show what is in one of the user's displays ? LIVE ? The displays may be showing slightly different things (stereoscopic). Does it show both the displays ?
Does this exactly mirror the display for _any_ app ? Live ?
Here is the context. I am considering this for helping a user to do something. I will be writing my own app based on Vuforia and unity. Can I see what the user sees on a big screen so that I can help the user in case he/she is stuck trying to do something ?
Thanks.

[Q] [APP IDEA] Converting a Monitor into a Touch Screen using android camera

Hey, I'm a Graphic Designer, and I always have weird and unique ideas. So far I haven't been able to get one developer interested in my ideas.
But this time it could be different. or not
This is probably just a novelty thing... i don't see it actually having a purpose, maybe if someone can expand on this idea... anyways
Here is my Concept!!
Firstly, on our PC/MAC MONITOR we stick a colourful (or QRCode-ish) sticker on each corner, with a server app running of some sort
Second, we grab our android camera and point to it... the viewfinder should translate the stickers to identify our touch-monitor area
Finally, by touching the viewfinder it should translate into "mouse click" at that location....
Why??? you may ask...
1)Its augmented reality... it comes with alot of brag rights..
2)If you're not arms length for some reason (like me when i'm lying down and watching tv shows on my monitor)...you can simply download ur next tv show without having to get up. I am trying to think of more reason, but I hope you guys can think of some.
In anycase, if you are interested in developing this app, please let me know I would love to help out with the GUI if you need me to.

[APP][CONCEPT][WIP] WiMi - Basic Wireless Mirroring

WiMi
Basic Wireless Mirroring for Android
Intro
There have been times when it would have been useful to output an email, website and other file on my phone to a public monitor or display. There have been various ways of doing this over the years, the TV Out function on the old Touch Pro devices, DLNA streaming, and HDMI ports. But, so far I have not found a way to directly replicate the screen, (mirroring) without the use of wires.
I have seen many threads from people who have asked this same question, and each time they have been told it's not possible, for various reasons. This project is to explore ways in which, however crudely to begin with, we can make this happen, and I have written a short brief below of why I believe it may now be possible. I am asking for help from anybody who thinks this may be achievable, or has something to offer that may help us in any way.
Theory
To create basic DLNA mirroring of your Android device for low frame-rate applications such as mail, browsing, and others. It is important to realize that it is highly unlikely to be able to create full DLNA mirroring for applications such as games using the proposed method, but who knows what can happen?
The basic mechanism would be to take continuous screen captures, between 1 and 30 per second, compress the screen captures into a suitable file format that can then be transmitted via DLNA.
I believe this should be possible - I have read that the new Sensation Camera App can record natively in MP4, in HD, in real time, which is fantastic, because as I understand it, MP4 works perfectly with DLNA. I have also noticed that in recent versions of Android, (I think FoYo+) there are parameters for ScreenCapture.
There may be a large lag using this method, but it is a start, and for showing a web page, text conversation, book, or text message, wirelessly on another display, it shouldn't be too much of a problem.
From what I understand, not all Kernels would be able to do this but I am unsure, so if anybody has any theories, let me know!
Suggested Basic Features
These are features that I think should be included as standard
1) Be able to predefine video bit-rate and frame rate via user controlled variable integers.
2) View the temp folder
3) Disable auto-orientation settings to prevent screen tearing.
Suggested Advanced Features
These suggested features are a kind of wish-list once we can get a basic app running well enough.
1) Direct camera monitoring - sending the image directly from the camera to the external display. (Probably resulting in BIG lag!)
2) Custom external screen resolution, possibly by upscaling to 720/1080 equivalent via screen density.
3) Ability to kill screen backlight, but keep capacitive control for scrolling web pages etc.
4) Output file to SD card for archiving.
5) Switch audio between device and external screen.
6) A "Start / Stop" widget.
7) Enable notification bar settings access.
If you want this concept to work, think you can help in any way, have an opinion or have anything to contribute at all, get involved!
News
I have made a blank app with the essential UI components.
IT DOES NOT HAVE ANY FUNCTIONALITY YET, IT IS JUST A DUMMY!!!!!!
Download it HERE and tell me what you think so far.
If anybody thinks they can help with the core of the app, please get in touch!
I love the idea

Well, Samsung's Smart Remote app (included by default in the S5) has the ability to control Split AC. And if the brand is not found, they let you request for the brand to be added, which, when you do that, they send you an email (almost immediately) asking you for some more details about your device, like brand, model number, and sometimes webpage of the company.
I haven't taken the time to reply to them after that, so I don't know how long it takes for them to add your brand, but at least the service looks promising.
Regards.
well i have tried like 3 times and yes they reply with the mail about asking the details and thats pretty much all they do. nothing is done after that. i think that mail service is kinda automated one that is generating mails to people who request for this and they are automatically forwarded.

You can try an app called "Smart IR Remote" by Color Tiger in the play store. It works great on my Gs5 to control my tv, amp and pvr, and it looks like it might be compatible with your ac unit.
Sent from my SM-G900F using XDA Premium 4 mobile app
ZaZa remote works for everything I have tried so far, the UI is not great but once you get your head around that its really great.
Another vote for Smart Remote by Color Tiger. I use it for two different AC units at home. It's the best remote app available.

Photos on Samsung Smart TV | thumbnails?

Hello xda enthusiasts!
Today I tried to cast/share my photos taken with LG G6 directly from my phone to the Samsung Smart TV (UE48H6770). I used the cast/share option (button) that is built-in the default LG G6 gallery application.
The picture was displayed on my TV, however instead of proper BIG (full resolution) picture, it looked like the thumbnail. I double check the picture details (3120x4160) on the phone and that shown on the TV (360x480)...
Has anyone encountered the same issue? If yes, were you able to fix it?
P.S. I found another person with the same problem who posted it on AndroidCentral
Thanks!
ha,ha, I noticed that myself. I was puzzled why they all appears to be small image and not full size. never really solved it, but would be interesting to know what the solution is.

I know it's old thread & also i don't know whether you find the solution.
You should use 'Screen Sharing" option.
You can find it under toggle menu.
@sagor1,That's exactly what I have ended up doing, however this is far from perfect. Sharing screen didn't show pictures in full when mode (at least on my TV).
I thought sharing directly from gallery app (I assume it uses DLNA) would be a better option, but it turned out to be useless - maybe due to DLNA implemention of LG...

Thanks. I thought I would not need to use separate app, just to share photos on the TV. However looks like due to lack of standard for DLNA each vendor has different implementation.
I'm wondering if this problem doesn't exist on LG smart TVs
