boot loop after kingroot install - Galaxy S3 Neo Q&A, Help & Troubleshooting

I have gt i9300i samsung galaxy s3 neo dual sim kitkat 444
I tried king root but always says failed root but i got root access and the app installed and purify too installed
But after reboot my phone it is boot loop and restarts after few minutes of loading android normally
Hardly i could uninstall king root but now i have a custom recovery cwm 6.5.1 by rox and i flashed it through odin
But no root access now
How can i solve thus problem and root my device correctly as i know its due too incorrect rooting by kingroot
Please reply me quickly
Thnx

Download official firmware from sammobile.com and flash it via Odin. To root I recommend you using CF-AutoRoot from ChainFire. I don't know if it's compatible with the dual sim version (GT-I9300I), but with my single sim (GT-I9301I) it worked like a charm

But i wanna keep my Rom and its data
I couldnt do a nandroid backup or titanium backup to my rom and data

If you have a bootloop I think you have no other way out. Sorry, bro.

Yes, you will be able to flash TWRP with Odin after getting root. Exactly the same procedure as rooting (read Chainfire's instructions), only instead of CF-Auto-Root-kltetmo-kltetmo-smg900t.tar.md5 file used for rooting, you will need to grab recovery.tar.md5 from the TWRP's thread.
Thanks !

Our phone is newly launched, i guess 3 months back.
And there is just a single custom rom which you will find in the Android Dev Section developed by bailiboxer.
known as GenNxt ROM based on latest C1 firmware.
Right now you will not find any other custom roms available for grand 2, because it is not yet built.
Just keep checking the Android Dev section of Grand 2 on xda for more updates.
Hope it helped :good:
The Custom Rom is make my phone cant wifi and the internet stopped issue.... so....any suggestion for me??

You can root your phone If you want . Just flash custom recovery via odin and then flash root.zip from recovery . I rooted my father's phone . Note II GT-N7100 without any issue . And now I also have a custom rom installed on it which is the DN3 Rom . But my father doesn't know about it . I said him that it is 4.4.2 official update . And as my mother's grand 1 is concerned it is rooted and I dont want to install any custom rom on it bcoz I don't think that there is any rom existing right now which is good . I'm waiting and hoping that a kitkat touchwiz rom will be soon out there for Grand 1 .
Don't forget to press thanks If I helped you in anyway

Not at all! I rooted my Grand 2 with CF root tool and didn't experienced any issues. All SIM card slots and Wi-Fi is working properly.
Try to "Forget Wifi Network" and connect it again....and dont make it manual....make it DHCP / Auto....

[Q] Help with flashing Galaxy S4 I337 (At&t)

Hi everyone!
I'm trying to flash this Galaxy S4 of At&t that a friend gave me. But when I try to flash the custom recovery system (twrp in this case) it just freezes after restarting for the first time (after "adb reboot bootloader") it freezes at Downloading.... I am useing the Andrid SDK platform tools because the device doesn't want to be rooted.
Thanks in advance for any help.
You should try using towelroot.
In my opinion it has never been easier to root (almost) every Androidphone.

You really need to read through this, http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?p=53758227. You can't flash twrp, safestrap is the only recovery you can use. And you need to be on nc1 to use towelroot which is the only root method you can use.

Thanks to TheKing1997 for mentioning towelroot.
And thanks to jd1639 for the useful information it really clarified a lot about At&t.
About flashing the device I let it be as I only need root privileges and got them by towelroot. It was my friend that had tried towelroot and he hadn't understood that it needs an other app to manage the apps that get root privileges (I used SuperSU).

[G900H] CF-Autoroot bricks my phone everytime

Hello, I have a Galaxy s5 SM-G900H , It was running on lollipop, then I downgraded it to kitkat by flashing the firmware via Odin, works like a charm
But when I wanted to root(Which I reaaaally need to) my phone gets stuck at boot, accessing recovery is impossible for some reason, the only solution was to flash back the kitkat stock, and again...rooting bricks it over and over again
PS: no errors shown in Odin
A little help would be really appreciated
Thank you for your time, I'm looking forward for your replies
Have a nice day
Use Towelroot
Might need to downgrade the Kernel to a pre-June 2014 KK Kernel first if the ROM is newer than that
you might be flashing cf root for lollipop... you need to flash root that supports kitkat.
Factory reset go back to kk and try afain

Help! Rooting Magisk for Pokemon Go - will it work?

Hi, I have rooted my Samsung GALAXY S7Edge SM-G935F using odin "auto-root-chainfire" file and it worked fine and great.
The new Pokemon Go update means I will need to root my phone using "MAGISK" - does this work on SM-G935F? Has anybody tried it?
Also has anybody tried unrooting their phone and rooting MAGISK on SM-G935F? If so please tell me so I can try it, I have once tried to unroot my old Samsung phones using SuperSU and it just caused everything to be deleted :/ so I am asking here to see if anybody tried it yet
also can someone send me a link for MAGISK rooting specifically for s7 edge? - or make a step by step guide how I can unroot my chainfire-auto-root (by odin) and then how i can root using MAGISk for S7 Edge SM-G935F
thank you for your time
