I have LG G2 (d800) and I live outside US (Europe). My problem is that I can not update my phone OTA. I would like to do it manually but, I am totally not familiar with flashing, rooting etc. If you can point me to some "materials" how to do it, I would be very thankfull. Currently I have android version 4.2.2.

this is from 4.4.2 kitkat.. am not sure what must you use to jumo to KK
Yep, I saw it. This is exactly my issue. How to move to 4.4.2.

I already read that link, storage cow, my doubt is the roms in there they dont say the version, the one i think is for me is open europe d802 but is from 26-02-2014, already kit kat or not? thanks for your time.

I just flash the german Vodafone from cow storage and is 4.4.2, where can i find 4.2.2... I tried flash open europe but had stayed in boot lg.... My phone is Lg g2 D802 32gb.

Hi guys
I should be picking my Korean version Lg G2 tomorrow and I need help with a few things.
The first thing is, from what I've been reading this phone now runs the latest version of android (KitKat 4.4) but if it hasn't already been updated when I get the phone, is it easy for me to do as this is a Korean phone and I'm in the UK?
The other thing is, if its on KitKat 4.4 will I still be able to root it?

Ive now got the phone and its already rooted but its on android 4.2.2.
When i go into "about phone" it says:
Android Version 4.2.2
Kernel version 3.4.0
Software version F320K 10i

Another problem.....
I tried to do a OTA update but it just said that my firmware was up to date, so i downloaded the lg pc suite (uk version) and its trying to update it to firmware F320L21V.
From what ive been reading its meant to update to F320K20a.
What should i do because i dont think the F320L21V can be rooted?

I've just checked all the sticker on the box/phone and the stamp and it says that the phone is a F320L (not K), so i think it must have been flashed with the K firmware my the person i bought it off.
But im still stuck because the F320L21V firmware isn't compatible with ioroot
Any ideas guys ?
i also have f320l. u manage to root it?
there seems be a lack of support for this model.
btw does ur phone have FM? mine don't.
just use the iroot.. it should work with f320

According to This website my firmware would be 6RE/UNITED ARAB EMIRATES_OPEN_16G
I wanna do that because my update center says there is no 5.0 available for it yet, and for many other g2's there is

You have the D802 Model. There is heaps of Custom Lollipop ROMs for you to choose from that are made for/work with the D802 model. Head over to the D802 Development forum and you'll find heaps of threads for Custom Lollipop ROMs built specifically for the D802, or you know.. you could wait a couple months for a official release by LG.

I actually wanted to keep the stock rom, just wanted to update it to Lollipop to get the few new things and keep LG's customization, I kinda like it (and too lazy/little time to toy with custom ROM's as I did back with Nexus')

Oh I'm sorry I kind of misunderstood what you were asking. Have you heard of the Grola ROM? It's a ROM built from Stock Lollipop from the F320K, and it's working great for the D802. Until D802 comes out with it's own official Lollipop release, you might want to check that out .

But what I was really hoping is to try to change my firmware from Dubai's to Europe's or whatever, just to have those updates more at hand.
Also, any idea if I could flash a radio or something to make my G2 work with my country's LTE band? I can only do that by that secret menu from dialer, not straight from settings (and it works)
as title says is the the posibility to flash to older roms on this phone. as its very laggy on current many thanks.

I don't have experience with that exact model, but tons of general LG experience and I haven't seen one of their phones that couldn't be downgraded. Google: LG Spirit kdz and find a guide with the instructions and files needed.
For now, there is only stock 5.0.1 for LG Spirit. You cannot downgrade to KitKat or jellybean.
But there are some versions of 5.0.1, for example you can downgrade from 5.0.1 v10c to 5.0.1 v10a but I don't see any point in this.

You can download Lolipop .kdz for your model flash it using flashtool. Otherwise you can use .tot method.
