hydrogen os low volume when making phone calls especially when in car over bluetooth - OnePlus 2 Q&A, Help & Troubleshooting

Hi guys, I've tried several roms for my oneplus but hydrogenOS is for me definitely the best rom concerning battery life.
The only problem I face is low volume when making phone calls compared to other roms and when I'm in my car over bluetooth, it's even worse.
When playing music with spotify I don't encounter the same problem.
Could someone help me fix this issue?
I also tried installing vipe4randroid but I can't seem to be able to make the driver work (see attachement). I find a lot of threads for viper but non specially concerning hydrogen.
So, if someone could help me out or point me to the right information, it would be much appreciated

[Q] Call sound doesn't play through wired headset

Hello everyone, I hope all is well!
I have this bug on Omni Rom Nightly 4.4, namely build omni-4.4.2-20140312-yuga-NIGHTLY, it's that all sound (music, notifications) plays on wired handset, except in-call sound. Even the end-of-call tone can be heard, but no sound from the caller (incoming/outgoing) is heard.
I'd be grateful if someone pointed me toward some solution to this, or has info regarding the issue, as I'm a new Omni Rom user, and so far I'm very satisfied and I'd like to keep on with it for daily usage.
Thanks in advance,
Kind Regards
Edit: Issue still present on build 20140313.

Bluetooth issue with marshmallow rom

Hi,
I have a big problem with my lg G2 ( D802) for every marshmallow rom, on my bluetooth speaker (jbl charge 2+ or even my headphone) , the sound is link, that mean that if you increase the sound in my speaker it also increase in my smartphone and vice versa. It's pretty annoying because the difference between two "level" is really high. If someone had the same problem and know how to solve it, would be great !
If you want some detail you can type "link bluetooth marshmallow" on google.
Finally i want to precise that i have no problem on every lollipop rom, i have the lastest twrp and a lp bootloader.
I would be thankful to the one that can help me.

[Question] How to regain excellent audio quality on X Pure?

Dear folks,
Currently I have installed custom ROMs on my X Pure to experience Android 7.0 Nougat beforehand.
However, I cannot bear the terrible audio quality my phone offers now. Loudspeakers reduced it original volume down to about 60% compared to stock. And when plugged in a headphone, there was almost no bass to all songs :crying:
It there any way I can regain those things back please? Any help?

It's a current problem with all Nougat ROMs.
There's a fix somewhere in the dev forums. I'll edit in the link once I find it.

Switch back to stock??? You can also try v4a.
I've created a fix
Not sure what kind of volume problems people are having with Nougat ROMS. I'm on CrDroid and I don't have this volume problem. I do have Dolby Atmos installed if that makes any difference. My problem is when using speaker during phone calls, the other person cannot understand me cause it echos.

How to fix low mic volume in custom roms?

I would like to preface this by saying I love all the Custom ROM's available, especially the Android 10 ones. But, I've noticed one problem shared by all the ROM's I've tested so far (almost all). It's that the mic quality is simply horrible on every single one of them. The first thing I do when I download a Custom ROM is to test the mic using the Google Recorder app and so far, no custom ROM has even come close the loudness and quality of stock. I wouldn't mind if the mic quality was bad, but that's not the biggest problem. The biggest problem is that the mic VOLUME is extremely low. I have to shout while calling just so the other person can hear me. How do I fix this problem? The same problem cropped up a lot on Pie ROM's too. I've tried editing the mixer_paths.xml but I don't really know where to look.
I would greatly appreciate if anyone could help me. Cheers.

Use kernel with mic gain and increase it to your liking.

Low volume from wired mic in all custom ROMs

Hello guys and gals
I've been trying a lot of custom ROMs for our beloved 9T, and as is usual they all have their little bugs and quirks, some more some less.
However, one problem I noticed affects ALL custom roms for our device (well, the ones I tried at least) is that the microphone audio from any wired (3.5mm jack) headset has a VERY LOW VOLUME. Whenever I record a voice note in Whatsapp or any other app, or when I have a meeting with Google Meet, or even just recording my voice with a Voice Recorder app, it's extremely quiet, unless I talk right into the mic.
This was not the case on MIUI, so it's clearly a custom ROM issue. I wanted to know a couple of things:
1) I'm not crazy right, external mics DO have low volume on custom ROMs, yes? Or is this some issue specific to my device?
2) Any workarounds/solutions you can suggest?
By scouring the forums and searching on google, I think the problem is some misconfiguration in the /vendor/etc/mixer_paths_idp.xml file, however I have no clue which values to modify, since from what I read the values you should change are different depending on the device.
Any help or suggestion on this matter would be appreciated.
