Huawei Y625-U21 stuck on encryption unsuccessful screen - Huawei Y625 Questions & Answers

Hi everyone,
I have Huawei Y625 U21 stuck with encryption unsuccessful, not rooted or anything since I never messed with this kind of thing. When I first got the error I followed the advice on screen and did a data/factory reset only to get to the same error screen after the reboot. I tried downloading the U21 firmware from Huawei support also any other U21 firmware I managed to find but all I get is this error:
"Can't install this package (tue may 5 2015) over newer build (mon nov 23 2015).
error in /tmp/update.zip(status 7)"
Tried both sd card and ADB sideload. Firmware version currently is Y625-U21V100R001C577B115.
Please help me, I'm about to go crazy xD
Thank you.

You should rollback to MM, but be carefull, don t make a factory reset cause u ll have a bootloop. After this, use the firmware Finder app and download B370 if your device it s L31 and be careful to have 1900mb
Hello,
My phone did the Update to nougat. Everything after the update messed up. Apps were deleted etc. I did a factory reset. After that i wasn't able to get to my mobile desktop. So i bought DC-Unlocker to unlock FRP. This worked.
So for now, i am not able to rollback with the rollback packages.
It says: "Software Install failed! The update package does not exist. Please download the package again."
It's also NRD90M-test keys
Can anyone please help me? Its an VNS-L31 from Germany.
I did it with rollback package. Worked for me.
Flashed b160, got Update message for b370.
I dont get why i got update message for b371 with 1,2gb first.
Huawei P9 Lite dual sim VNS-L21
After OTA upgrade to Nougat I noticed some missing apps;
- Factory reset - "Your device has failed verification and may not work properly"
- Hard reset - the same massage
After boot says NRD90M test keys at software info. Phone is in some kind of loop with this "failed verification" message at every starup.
What should I do? Send it to warranty or risk fix it myself? I will not succeed without a step by step guide because I never did this before. I do not know what vershion I had before NRD90M test-keys
LE
A working version of Nougat should be fine for me.

VNS-L52 failed to do system update

appreciate if anyone could suggest something.
my device is VNS-L52 and tried to unlock the bootloader(succeeded), tried to install TWRP(failed, no proper version). now i have a system update notification and did that update. but it failed to do update when the device got reboot as set, it went to the black screen as same as what i tried to TWRP. fortunately, i can still go to erecovery, when i tried to recovery, it said it couldnt get version info. does it mean i lost oeminfo? if so, could anyone share the model oeminfo for me? i searched offical rom a lot, but there is no any download for VNS-L52C719B120 or new version VNS-L52C719B160.
if my guess is wrong, could any one share your idea?

Huawei p9 lite update problem

Hi guys so yesterday I tried updating my phone to the b383 update available on firmware finder, after downloading and restarting the phone the update failed because it could not verify something(not sure what error pop up said) and ever since that every time I reboot my phone it keeps bringing this error that "your phone has failed verification and may not work properly"
Ive tried a factory reset to try and fix it but it still shows the same error
Does anyone know how to fix it? Ild really appreciate the help. Also my device isn't rooted
Fixed it nvm?

OTA update bootlooped S8. Need Advice

So I have a SM-G950W (BMC (Bell) originally but using unlocked on RWS (Rogers)) . Nothing has ever been flashed before except for OTA updates.
I upgraded to the Oreo OTA update and my phone got stuck in a bootloop. Ive tried wiping Cache and Factory resetting and no dice.
I decided to flash the official firmware with odin. I downoaded BMC/RWC/XAC and have tried flashing each of those through the newest Odin (1.13.1). This always ends successfully.
On bootup I get to the Samsung logo and the LED blinks red and the phone reboots. This happens indefinitely.
Ive tried wiping factory and cache again after this and it did not help. If I flash the HOME_CSC instead of CSC It gives me an encryption error and wants me to factory reset, after that I get the same red led bootloop result.
Any ideas on what I can do/ Am I missing any steps?
EDIT: Unsure if this is related but in the recovery menu it says this at the bottom:
fail to open recovery_cause(No such file or directory)
Reboot Recovery Cause is [UNKNOWN]

Same issue with SM-G950U1
Hi Mike, I have the same issue that you are reporting and in the recovery menu, it says the same as yours at the bottom. I didn't find any solution for having the phone stop rebooting. Please, if you have found any solution share it. I'll do the same if I can get the phone out of the boot looping. What I have done so far is flash the phone with the last official firmware downloaded with SamFirm.
I'm not sure but the problem might be related to the firmware. I'm now downloading an older firmware (with android 7.0) to check if the phone starts ok with that firmware. I'll let you know if I have good news.
Regards!
EDITED:
I found a solution!!
Hey, just want to share how I stopped the bootlooping.
You will need to flash your phone following this post https://forum.xda-developers.com/galaxy-s8+/how-to/snap-guide-flashing-standard-fw-carrier-t3627255 and download Firmware from Updato. Do not download the last version of the Firmware, because it will continue doing the bootloop. I've downloaded the following firmware:
Galaxy S8 / SM-G950U1 / 7.0 Nougat(Android ) / December 26, 17
And the phone has started!
Remember to use the last version of Odin from this post https://forum.xda-developers.com/showpost.php?p=75703449&postcount=276
If not you will not be able to flash your phone.
Hope you can fix the phone as I have done!
Let me know when you fix it.
Best!
Hey Mike,
You are not alone. Samsung apparently has messed up another OTA again. I have the same issue after Oreo update. Showed my phone to a certified Samsung repair shop and they said they had several people showing up that day with the same issue and they were not able to fix it. The best bet to contact Samsung Customer Support and they will assist you in sending your phone to a repair center.
I hope there was a faster way to fix the issue.
Hey Mike, I have updated my first answer with a workaround to fix the bootlooping. Let me know if it works in your case that I think was the same as mine.
Regards!
Hey Guys. Having the same exact issue for G955U1. I would to know if what gorito17 suggest fix the issue besides him.

Nokia 5 Flashing Issues [Unique Issue]

UPDATE: I SUCCEEDED IN FIXING IT.
Hello Everyone,
I recently got a Nokia 5, used it for about 2months then the 8.1 Update came which messed up the camera
[camera app always crashing]; It was working perfectly before I updated to Oreo 8.1 so I decided to change
to Nougat.
I wasnt aware there were protocols to follow before downgrading and then went ahead to Flash Nokia5_Android_8.0_Oreo_v5.220_Update.zip via ADB. It got to (47%) and gave out a sort of error, then exited to reboot the phone, since then my phone has been stuck at "No Command" Screen.
I've tried flashing with December 2017 Update before Flashing Finally with Nougat 7.1 ROM using OST LA 6.0.4, but it stops at a point while flashing o OST saying "Connection Failed, 0xc6da" . I am frustrated and tired plus I have limited data to keep changing roms. Please Can anybody help me out of this nightmare? Please! Please!
Please ask me anything, I'll answer. Thanks in anticipation!!!!
I attached a snapshot of what information my recovery menu has.
