AIM Of Thread: To Create Awarness About NetHunter And Discuss Over New Innovation Of Making OnePlus One A Better Device.
Hello Oneplus One Users && Everyone Else.
Glad To Be A Part Of XDA Community.
I'm new here, and i am a proud owner of Oneplus one which is a preferred Net Hunter Device By Offensive Security.
I Have Been using Oneplus One all most since One year. I use it mainly for pen-testing learning purpose.
The Kali Linux NetHunter project is the first Open Source Android penetration testing platform for Nexus devices, created as a joint effort between the Kali community member “BinkyBear” and Offensive Security. NetHunter supports Wireless 802.11 frame injection, one-click MANA Evil Access Point setups, HID keyboard (Teensy like attacks), as well as BadUSB MITM attacks – and is built upon the sturdy shoulders of the Kali Linux distribution and toolsets. Whether you have a Nexus 5, Nexus 6, Nexus 7, Nexus 9, Nexus 10 or OnePlus One we’ve got you covered. Our freely downloadable images come with easy to follow installation and setup instructions to get you up and running in no time at all.

Kali Linux is a vast Open Source Project. And as for Net Hunter there are many areas which still I have also not touched.
But I have learnt many things which have helped me very much in day to day life.
So,whatever I have learnt till now and will learn I will keep posting it here.
And I request the Senior Members and Experienced Pen-Testers to FREELY post new tutorials/demos or anything that you can contribute to make this thread a Center of Learning and Sharing.

You can check whether you adapter is functional with your device via the following steps/commands:
Step 1 : Connect you adapter using otg/y-cable.
Step 2: Open up NetHunter Terminal[Kali].
Step 3: Enter The command
Code:
ifconfig wlan1
If anything information show's up,then it means your adapter has been detected by the NetHunter system.
If you want to check it with something. Try it with Wifite.
For that,Do the following:
Step 1: Open up NetHunter Terminal[Kali].
Step 2: Enter The command
Code:
wifite
Step 3: On this screen it will show you 3 options if you have connected your adapter.
I) p2p0(used for linking local address)
II) wlan0(your mobile's internal wifi adapter)
III)wlan1(your external wifi adapter)
Step 4: Select III) option.
NOTE: When you select that option, wifite will try to put your adapter on monitor mode. At this moment you may notice that green blinking LED on your adapter.
Step 5: So if you see that LED,then your adapter is fully functional :good:.

Yes,this is lollipop. To be more specific it is cyanogen 12.1 snapshot. And the Nethunter Is flashed over it.
Pen-Test
Yes,you can pen-test your networks and check how strong you're passwords are by cracking.
Spoiler alert: Penetration testing is more than GUI-based softwares. You should have prior knowledge about basic programing,Networking and linux terminal.
If you Interested in this field, my advice is make your base knowledge perfect.

Cyanogenmod is not down, only changed the name to LineageOS

@Mr.Ak & FSadino
Thanks, but I'm afraid you misunderstood the question. I was just asking if there are reliable alternative sources for the old Cyanogen Mod stuff. A mirror site would be great but I could not find one.
This page doesn't provide the old images anymore, that's the problem (point b of the tutorial is useless now):
https://download.cyanogenmod.org/?device=bacon
No meta discussions needed, just another reliable source (and not for me but for this tutorial).
Bytheway this is a nice collection and one answer to my question:
https://forums.oneplus.net/threads/mirrors-for-official-cyanogen-roms-ota-updates.141825/

So this only works with cm12.1 snapshot or would it be possible to flash over lineage os?

You can flash it over lineage os if you want for any further questions you might have I recommend you go to the Kali nethunter github page

a few questions:
#1 How good sir, do you suggest I/we improve our base knowledge?
#2 For starting out, is a Nexus 5 better than a OnePlus One? i.e. why go with a $200 OnePlus One when you can go with a $75 Nexus 5 ??
#3 Is there any additional must have equipment you would need to do entry-level pen testing with the OnePlus One besides the phone? i.e. antennas?
#4 I am actively looking to buy a OnePlus One, used if possible, is there anything specific I need to inquire about? i.e. android version, boot loader locked?, ect, ect.
any and all advise is greatly appreciated!!

Answers-
1). You can do some ethical hacking course from YouTube.
2).Nexus 5 is no where compared to OPO.You can buy refurbished/second-hand OPO at much lower price, but,the question is why do you need only an OPO and nothing else? Nostalgia?
3).Check OP again, some must-have equipments are listed, however you'll find more when doing ethical hacking course.
4).You can find some some used OPO easily,no need to worry about boot loader, android version and stuff.
Link to buy OPO(132 US$)- https://m.ebay.in/itm/ONE-PLUS-ONE-Black-3GB-RAM-64-GB-ROM-4G-LTE-PRE-OWNED-/132264175466?hash=NQ==

[OFFICIAL THREAD] Lenovo K3 NOTE [CWM/ROOT]

Modding Lenovo K3 Note
I anticipate that I will, nor the forum will take responsibility 'of malfunctions and \ or damage!
Part One - CMW Install and Root command line
In this thread, I'll describe a simple, fast, and definitely safer than SPFTools.
SPFTools VCOM working on ports that are not always recognized, sometimes give problems also installing special drivers, they are almost always a problem for Windows because of the signatures on the driver.
Closed this little digression for information, we start with the drivers:
Driver Lenovo K3 Note + PDAnet+:

Install all drivers Lenovo inside. Once you finished enable the USB debugging and wait for Windows to complete its configuration.
When completed restart the PC and install the utility on the device:
PdaNet:

Be sure to restart to have all the drivers installed correctly and stay in Debug USB.
Without this included in your terminal this .zip file to obtain permits Root later:

Now download this Minimal ADB (with Recovery K3 notes included) from here:

Now comes the fun part!
Unzip the zip file and open the file py_cmd.exe and quietly run these commands:
Code:
adb devices
To ensure that the PC recognizes the device, and if it should be unauthorized make sure that USB debugging is enabled.
Code:
adb reboot bootloader
This command will reboot the phone on a black screen, going in fastboot .
Code:
fastboot devices
This command will confirm the above.
Code:
fastboot flash recovery recovery.img
This command will install the much sought CWM, but it is not over yet!
Code:
fastboot reboot
This command will restart the device.
Perfect! now to get root permissions, there will be that off the device, wait a few seconds and turn it on using this key combination:
VOLUME UP - VOLUME DOWN - POWER

Click to collapse
Wait until the CWM is not playing, choose obviously the English language.
Subsequently searching
Code:
install zip
... and subsequently ...
Code:
choose zip from /sdcard
... looking for that zip file SuperUser inserted at the beginning.
Et voila! The device is unlocked and ready to receive new rom and functionality!
Part Two - Install new ROM from SPFTools CWM does not work when
Many with the above guide you tried to change the finding in eom stuck.
With this procedure you can go back, but before we move forward I want to give you a few details regarding the update of the rom:
*- The rom mounted on chinese devices with Play Service support and multilanguage already moddate the seller.
*- Given the above, download a rom 'official' (see NeedRom) carrying the phone in its native state.
*- If you need to download the latest versions from the site VibeUI not download the latest available, sometimes the downgrade is not possible (personal experience).
Let's start!
First, before you go ahead to make sure you have followed the guidance post 100% in the first part of the thread.
Follow the link:
SPFTools V5:
https://mega.co.nz/#!G0sVBK5A!M9DovhVgx_aCdXpySq0zmkKvrPbAFePtJgZRXyjtG7w
Click to collapse
Now unpack everything and put it in a folder convenient for you.
I post the link of a rom in case I tried to see if this will work, even to you. To me it is working well.
In the third part if this rom works almost everyone will get all roms that I find around and decide what to do and what to do.
Rom 1949Deal:

Once downloaded, extract directory in a readily available and open flash_tool.exe .
Before we go on, first remove the battery and attach only the USB cable, then set the SPFTools this:
{

"lightbox_next": "Next",
"lightbox_previous": "Previous",
"lightbox_error": "The requested content cannot be loaded. Please try again later.",

"lightbox_share": "Share",
"lightbox_zoom": "Zoom",
"lightbox_new_window": "New window",
"lightbox_toggle_sidebar": "Toggle sidebar"
}
Set in this way the program.
In step [1] look for the previously extracted folder and locate the file.
Give the program a few seconds to load the rom, and after leaving it in Download Only Click Download .
Obviously nothing will happen, to make sure that going forward, you can simply insert the battery and wait for the completion of the transaction.
Reinstall the back cover and turn on the device. Give it about 8/10 minutes for the first startup.
Et voila! We are again ready to modding this Lenovo K3 notes!
Part Three - Collection ROM

Dear Colleagues,
I have Lenovo Vibe Z2. It has got recently the Lollipop upgrade that works quite well. But Lenovo did not include the SafeCecter app into the upgrade and the old one, extracted from the 4.4 ROM, isn't compatible with the new ROM, it even cannot be installed.
So, my request: would someone be so kind and extract the SafeCecter app from the K3 Note firmware for me? Since the K3 also has Lollipop I hope that your SafeCecter would serve well on my Z2 too.
Thanks a lot in advance!

Asus Zenpad 8.0 Z380C - Any Custom Roms Available?

Hi Guys,
Sorry I'm an absolute newbie on forums so if I'm doing anything wrong please correct me
I have bought the Asus Zenpad 8.0 Z380C last weekend and I really like the tablet but the bloatware on it is absolutely killing me :crying: and my RAM. I was wondering if there is any way to get a clean version of the ASUS stock firmware or any clean custom rom for this device. I can't seem to find any dev working on this. The stock rom isn't bad but it feels like all the unused apps are slowing the tablet which is a shame as it is a good cheap tablet which can do much more.
THanks!
Niels
You need root your Z380C and unintall all bloatware.

This is the second post asking about root that you provided this particular link to and touted it as a resolution to the problem. Do you own a z380c and/or have you personally tried the method outlined in the page you have linked or did you simply google this answer?
That page just lists garbage software that's in Russian and Chinese that requires you to do surveys to download (i.e. scam software) and neither of those programs are able to root the z380. The first clue this page is crap is that the screenshots are for different devices! This is NOT an answer to the question asked.
OP: I'm looking for an answer too, if I find it, I will post it here. Good luck!
Yes I have z380c and now I know my links are bad (I used only google) I am sorry. I think here will be solution: http://forum.xda-developers.com/android/development/intel-android-devices-root-temp-cwm-t2975096
I read about the temp rooting and untill now all have failed with me. I think we will have to wait untill the locked bootloader gets cracked or bypassed. I would love to see the new CM 13 on my zenpad. Just installed it on my note 3 lte.
I am afraid z380c is not very dilated. For CM is not interesting. But who knows.
Any good news?

This ROM is for the Qualcomm version of the tablet, not Intel as the OP requested and will not work.
This method worked for me, remember to rename the downloaded file "root-v2-z380c.img" to "root.img" (without the quotes) before the command "fastboot boot root.img"
good luck

Zenpad 8.0 Z380C (P022) Custom ROM or help with building a custom ROM ??
I'm also searching for a custom Rom for Asus Zenpad 8.0 Z380C (P022).
As I'm not a software-expert I was not able to build a custom ROM for myself, but I'm still trying/fighting. Downloaded the Kernel source from Asus, still errors when trying to make the kernel. And afterwards?
Anyone here who have experience with these things and can help me?
Reason: Bluetooth "bug" (or however you name it) in Android 5, therefore a big wish to go for Android 6 or 7. Makes no sense to scrap the tablet and buy a new one. And I'm still thinking the performance could be way better when disabling/deleting all the stuff you don't need on this device (bloatware is already removed). Maybe I'm wrong...
Zenpad is rootet.

I've managed to root it too!
Which apps can you safely remove?
I'm using Uninstall Master, but if you have a better alternative, let me know.
I've read people using Xposed to get more control (to remove ZenUI), but also people who bricked their devices with it.
Can anyone confirm Xposed isnt working or is working for Z380C?

Hi,
I installed SuperSU, BuxyBox and Root Browser after rooting. Maybe there are better options, I don't know since I'm not so familiar with all these stuff than other users here. I can't tell you what I have removed, but I also deactivated some stuff (see for yorself if this is a good idea):
Android System WebView
ZenCircle...
Asus Browser- Secure Web Surf
File Manager (the ZenUI ASUS one)
Asus SuperNote
Google Fotos
Chrome Browser
Google Text-in-...
Google
In the System Menu "Apps" i have quiete more deactivated.
Afterwards i deleted ome of these folders with the Root Browser.
But as you can see in my post, I'm not satisfied, especially because Bluetooth. And I want to setup a totally clean Android and install all for myself.

Thanks! :good:
It seems Busybox is installed, since I installed Titanium Backup from the Play-store (showing BusyBox 1.19.4-Titanium from app).
Perhaps it's more easy to show what can be disabled or removed, using screenshots.
Take note: I don't use the whole photos or camera stuff, since the camera of this device is crappy.
I use my device for browsing, also speaking to Google to search + Youtube + Deezer for music. That would be all.
I'll start with mine, perhaps you can download the zenpad_apps_all.png and edit it, putting a red X-mark on top of the ones you have disabled/removed.
I've deleted Kindle, Amazon, Zinio, Clean Master, Supernote, Google Maps, and some others, that are obvious to remove.

[ROM] Custom ROM for MTK6580 Smartwatch (X5 Air / LEM5 Pro)

There has been quite a bit of development on the full smartwatch front recently; notably the OpenWatch project that is in full swing and pretty much covered all the main manufactures and variants that are available.
Hopefully a new OS will be available shortly; however in the meantime Id like to offer this ported Resurrection Remix to the community as I have been asked a number of times to release it for testing.
I have been using this for about a fortnight now and so far am very pleased with the results. Battery life has been tripled with hibernation, and root access provides more potential.
Please note that the UI has not been optimized for round screens however anything awkward can be done via PC and a screen cast app. Im using Vysor.
Installation:
Install .zip via TWPR in the usual fashion. Factory reset wipe is recommended.
As always please process a full backup of your existing software inc. all partitions you have available (NVRAM etc) before flashing so you have a safe return point.
Details:
Resurrection Remix ROM 5.5.9 for MTK6580
Android Version: 5.1.1
Kernel: 3.10.72+
Ported for: Finox X5 AIR / LEMFO LEM5 Pro
Known Bugs:
Bluetooth - file transferring is 50/50
Display not optimised
No clock engine - please use Ricktops Universal Launcher to regain this function.
Palm brightness - use home button to turn screen on and off.
Suggestions:
Please allow 5+ minutes for OS for intial loading after flash.
Kernel editor - reduce max CPU frequency to 600Mhz
Install Xposed framework for Lollipop 5.1.1
Greenify (and enable framework in Xposed)
Change DPI to 200 - play around with this to see what suits you best
Enable expanded desktop for all apps
Use Battery Saving Mode and Airplane Mode when possible.
Once you have set up everything do a further backup to save you setting everything up again.
All credits to the Resurrection Team for their ROM. I have not altered any aspect of the original, simply ported this over to my device.
This should work on any 5.1.1 smartwatch if properly ported using your stock files. Please see ported folder in download link to see which file I have corrected. Replacing these files with your own stock resources should work.

Here is the ported Resurrection ROM for the Thor Pro - I honestly have no idea if this will work as I cant test it, but in theory it should?
You mentioned that you have a full backup already, I would suggest copying the BACKUP folder from the TWRP folder on your SD card to your PC so you can transfer it back in the event you need to do a full wipe if this bootloops. If you are using SPFT then chances are you will return back to stock recovery unless you modify the stock fw. From experience, its easier to just do a fresh flash when these thing dont work.
If you see the RR logo, wait a good 5-10 minutes for it to load. If it doesnt, chances are the port failed. In which case Im sorry.
Id also grab the Universal Launcher from an apk mirror so you can get the watch functions back and also using Vysor to set it up makes it much easier. Suggestions are in post above.
With regards to the connect phone app, it should work - Im using watchdroid to ping notifications over and it works with no issues.
Good luck! And let us know how you get on. Fortune favours the bold.

Awesome man, thanks a lot! I will test it tomorrow because it is 23:30 here in Portugal so its late. But tomorrow once I get back from work I will test it. Btw does it include the "connect phone" app to be able to use with wiiwatch? Or do I have to install later as system app or something?

I hope it works for you; would open it up for more people to hopefully improve it.
Im sorry Im not familiar with connect phone or wiiwatch? If its a app that came with the watch you could maybe look for it on the manufactors website? However WiiWatch - Watch Assistant is available on the app store (or an apk mirror) if this is what you mean? Could try that.
Keep us posted.

The connect phone app comes pre installed on the stock rom and that's what makes it able for the wiiwatch app to find the phone...and I have no other alternative because I have an iPhone:/. Anyway I will try the rom!
It didn't work...some errors like "error 7" and some "symlinks missing". I think I am going to sell it because it simply does not work properly with the iphone, it causes major battery drain on my phone because of the wiiwatch app to connect=/
But thanks a lot for your help!

Damn error 7 - i removed the asserts from the updater script - so it could be a number of other things.
Im sorry it didnt work mate. I would be up for trouble shooting it with you but would be so hard pin pointing the problem without a device to test it on here. Best just wait for OpenWatch to be released, or as you said sell it. I wonder what the delivery would be from Portugal to UK? : )
I appreciate you giving it a shot, ill remove the link so no-one else tries.
All the best.

I am now waiting for the battery to run out because I don't know the combination to boot into twrp xD. Also, unlike cellphones, forcing the power button doesn't turn it off, it just keeps rebooting. Thanks a lot for your help. I contacted zeblaze and they said they would look into the issues. First they sent me a firmware to try (which was older than the one you based the rom on, which was the same that came with my watch lol). Zeblaze seems to be very unorganized, even their site does not have firmware available to download...its a shame really, I wish i had bought a lemfo or kingwear!

If you want to speed it up remove the backplate and follow the battery ribbon to the motherboard. If you use something pointy but rounded you can just pop the contact up (disconnecting the battery) then push it back on. But you will most likely need to reflash with SPFT unless you have a way of booting into TWRP from power off.
It is ashame they arent more on the ball with updates etc, ive heard this alot with zeblaze. definetely go LEMFO or KW next - ive been told these have a very secure future and support is now officially by the RASC community from what I know.
Yeah that’s bad they don’t want to support the Thor pro is a really good budget device with big screen and outside readable, we still have the original firmware and not updated, yeah I have an IPhone to and the Bluetooth connection is not so good but it works the Bluetooth calling works too good and I have to install an app Volume booster because is so low and for the position of the hardware is really bad this device has potential. I am waiting for my Lemfo LemX
Good work on the port. Im trying to get RR on my Microwear H2 (1gb 16gb) I have a working TWRP recovery. Could you point me in the direction of the port guide you followed for your watch so i can try and port it myself. Thanks
Also, have you managed to port any higher versions of android for your watch? I am aware of the Openwatch project, which brought me to your post.
EDIT: Just read the last few lines of your 1st post. Will have a go as you have suggested. Thanks

Hi, this is the first topic about Treble in this forum. Does that mean the Note 5 Plus (vince) is Treble supported but the Note 5 (whyred) not yet?
PS.: here I already found a Treble project for the whyred. So which is the correct master forum for the whyred? This one here is mixing Redmi Note 5 (whyred) with the 5 Plus, while the other is for Redmi Note 5 Pro but also covering the whyred?

What are you talking about? This entire forum is for Vince not for whyred. Xiaomi made a big mess with phone names indeed...
But I assume this ROM is for Vince... If not, it should be removed and thread closed.

Anyway, Vince is not treble originally, but thanks to MIUI partition scheme its perfectly treble compatible and most Pie ROMs ARE treble.
Sent from my Note 5 / 5 Plus using XDA Labs
Yes, the Xiaomi Codenames are a bit messy. I understand now that it was a confusion about my Redmi Note 5 global, which actually is a whyred and not a vince, as vince is only Redmi Note 5 and 5 Plus (this forum) but not the Redmi Note 5 global. The Redmi Note 5 glbal actually is equal to the Redmi Note 5 Pro (whyred). This was not clear from all the Codename threads from Xiaomi forums. Please correct if I'm wrong.
Beside that, both the whyred and the evince seem to have Treble projects meanwhile, while there are still native custom roms maintained. Treble for me is a big step for the future not having custom roms per device but GSI only, with Treble /vendor projects per device, mostly stripped from the stock images. But as far as there is a native rom maintained I would rather go for that. All the Treble still sounds under development and inofficial. Or would you say the opposite?
Treble is indeed something positive. But its not the panacea you think.
MIUI is not treble but uses a partition scheme that can be converted to treble if you flash a vendor on it. This is what most pie ROMs do. Of course, you can have an A only treble support, no A/B.
Unfortunately, a GSI does not work out of the box most of the times. So its always a SGSI (semi-SGI). Hopes to flash any SGI and having it work perfectly are very slim.
Treble does not offer you a free pass to try any ROM you like, just a simpler way for manufacturers to implement android on their phones.

been using for a week. no problem so far. great rom
very nice rom for me but i have a small bug. when it comes to screen fit. i mean the edge of the screen is curve but the layout was simply straight. not a big deal but nice rom!
Great ROM, thanks dev!
I clean flashed this rom and latest GAPPS and once outside the house, the Phone apk seems to keep force-closing and eventually makes the phone reboot to recovery.
Does anyone know a way to combat this? I tried clearing the apps data but the same thing keep happening.

Same here. It seems to be a common problem of all ROMs using mdeejay device trees. Only for certain vince versions tho. The Only ROM that works for me is Pixel Experience CAF Version. I hope this will get fixed at some point. I really like Lineage! Sadly reboot of the phone happens within maybe half a minute after first boot, so taking logs is impossible.

Yes it does.
If your battery does not charge to 100%, it's a known defect and you should SEARCH xda forums for the solution. There is one.

I already tried cleaning battery stats, calibration and even unplugged the battery and fingerprint sensor.
Still charges to 82%. If I recharge it in recovery mode, only then, it reaches 100%.
When I Flash a MIUI rom, it functions normally.
Thanks for the reply and for helping!

3. Re-plug the battery and re-attach back cover
4. Test if it will charge to 100%

Yes... I've done that twice... Waited 15 minutes the first time, 30minutes on the second time. The problem persists.
I have just flashed this ROM.
Charged to 100%.
Will be with it for a few days... Will Tell how it is then!
Thanks for helping!

I found the fix (well, workaround) for this, at least for me: If you disable the "Enhanced 4G LTE mode" in Settings > Network & Internet > Mobile Network, it works just fine without losing 4g/lte connectivity speeds (as far as I can tell now).

What is this crDroid mystery build?

TLDR: Found some crDROID build that works flawlessly. Tho couldnt find this rom listed on any credible sources (such as XDA). Naturally suspicious. But do want. Anyone else used this rom or saw any info on it? Details below:
- I've been looking for a LineageOS 17.1 build for my phone, G530FZ Galaxy Grand Prime (or "gprimeltexx") to switch to from LineageOS 18 due to slowdowns and short battery life on newer version.
- Followed >THIS< link on >THAT< XDA thread, which landed me on androidfilehost.com.
- While LOS17.1 rom was downloading, I've decided to use the site search to look for "gprimeltexx".
- This is the result:

- Unexpectedly, the crDroid 7.11 (Android 11) build for g530FZ (highlighted) showed up in the search.
- It is weird, since previously I've searched high and low for crDroid build for g530FZ that is newer than 2018 (xda thread) to no avail.
- Scouring the google and duckduckgo for variations of "crDroid 7.11 grand prime" yielded no results EXCEPT this androidfilehost file. Searching for the highlighted rom filename shows ONLY this androidfilehost link in the results.
- Since my phone was long wiped anyway, I've decided to download and flash this crDroid rom via TWRP.
- Surprisingly, it did flash, and after about 5 min of initialization I was prompted to go through regular Android initial setup (language, etc)
- Even more surprises: despite running Android 11 (which has always been slow on the prehistoric Grand Prime), this crDroid rom runs very fast even with all the fancy animations (which mercilessly lagged the device on lineageos 18)
I am tempted to use this rom as my main phone os. HOWEVER, given that it came from a totally random source and has no info on it on XDA, I am naturally hesitant. Could anyone could clarify the following please:
Does this ROM come from XDA or some other credible sources? I've searched on it myself couldnt find anything, but maybe I've missed something that you know.
Any way to check whether this rom sends/receives sus data?
Developer of the ROM is listed as "AaronPhilips101". Does that ring a bell?
the mere existence of this crDroid rom (and other unofficial versions) indicates it can be built on G530FZ. Are there any tutorials on how to build it from source for this particular device (g530FZ)?

yeah I know AaronPhilips101, it's on the gprime group on telegram. i don't know if he built something else but yeah it's weird that he didn't create any thread for that
I remember one day he asked me to use my source trees, probably to build this rom. so it should be safe I think.
Well on how to build a rom there is a good starting guide here https://itexpert120.github.io/blog/building-android/

The Android build how-to article is especially interesting. Thanks a lot for the tips! Just one more question pls - what is that gprime telegram group you've mentioned? Is it public or invite-only?

No problem, if you have any questions just ask : )
You can join the group at @grandprimedev. it's a little dead as of now, I think the gprime community had its time already haha ; )

Hahah, makes sense. Still, worth checking out. Gprimes were resilient little phones. Mine still stubbornly works no matter how much abuse (and water damage) it has been subjected to over the years. Guess just like the phone, the community around it still refuses to fully die out XD.

Hello there, Sorry for the late reply
1. Yes the rom is completely safe to use and i built it using Gabriel's trees which you can find here https://github.com/Gabboxl/local_manifests
2. I mainly built this for my personal use so that's why I didn't bother creating an XDA thread for it .
