1. Install LG PC suite:
http://www.lg.com/uk/support/pc-suite
2. Connect the phone and suite will install update to support it.
3. Choose "Mobile device"->"Mobile device software upgrade"
PC suite will start download, then restart the phone and upgrade it to the last official version.
Then restore the root with Purple drake lite and you are good to go.
PC Suite gave me a lot of problems. It initially worked on my windows machine, but a reformat of that one and I can't install PC Suite on it anymore. Keeps giving me an NSIS error. PC Suite installed fine on my Macbooks but it won't detect the phone. grr
what worked for me was downloading the drivers and the LG Mobile Support Tool (do a search)
this won't let you sync stuff, but it will let you update your phone to the latest available software. For me, it turned out to be version g.
Purple drake root worked after this, and all software and most settings unchanged. Had to turn on xposed again though, and experimental settings with greenify to get everything just like it was before the upgrade.

I tear off my set & found several things
1. My back cover, settings > Software info & booklets shows it D802, while internal plastic is labeled as D800 & Motherboard is D801 T-Mobile. Look like some company is selling T-Mobile as D802.
I read it on this forum that if flash D802 rom on T-Mobile D801, then need to reload Kernels of D801 too after flashing D802 rom. I tried flashing D801 kernel in recovery mod but it gives error "E invalid certificates" or something like this, I also tried flashing D801 stock rom, but LG Flash Tools 2014 gives error at 2% (Phone disconnection & sometime "Connection to server failed"), however, LG Flash Tools flash D802 without any issue.
Now, can someone tell me how to flash D801 kernels after flashing D802 rom? Or how can I flash stock D801 rom?

I am facing quite odd problems. please help me.
I have LG G2 D802. My software version was d80220b while when I attached my mobile with pc, pc suite notify me that d80220c is available. I upgraded. But after upgrading, touch is totally out of work. Say like below, I tap "7" & it goes to 2, 3 etc. I select say first option, it selects 4th option.
Also, one more thing, my mobile is 32gb variant, while now it's showing only 10.7gb.
Three Problems total
1. Touch totally disturbed
2. Storage reduced from 32gb to 10.75gb
3. Service Disabled (No sim is working :'(
I think it's due to some rom issue, can you please guide me or send me link for the correct ROM for my mobile?

HI Kernol,
I have done it like 5 times, I flash stock rom & hard factory reset but still same.
There was not a single touch issue in the last 2-3 weeks, but it immediately happened on OTA upgrade & on start/configuration screen

try install a custom rom
may problem ur stock g2 version or something in kernel or baseband or touch drivers

I tried many custom roms, but they are in .zip instead of kdz file
Can you please let me know how can I reload them? I am using LG Flash Tool 2014 which supports kdz only. I can stuck at configuration windows just after LG Logo. So, cannot access anything in mobile like Developer tools etc

only way to fix this its only by kdz
but whats rom version u have before installing update

Try to update the touch drivers, just dial 3845#*802# go to settings and then update touch firmware

Hello guys, I have a D802 phone and I was on Ressurection Remix 5.0 but since the official lollipop update was made avalaible, I wanted to return to stock and unroot so I could again use my warranty(for some weird reason they couldn't tell last time I took it there that it was rooted). Basically my problem is that every guide for going back to stock has the phone connected to the PC and use the flash tool. Well, I did that but when the mobile support tool opened for the upgrade, it couldn't find my phone. So I found a guide that showed you how to extract and rebuild a kdz file into a .zip. I tried that, used the UK d8023b rom ( A friend of mine who has a d802 as well, though unrooted, got the prompt to update through the pc suite and it updated his phone to d8023b, thats why i used that version), flashed it and I am now stuck in a bootloop. I have full access of recovery and adb but the phone isn't recognised by LG software. Can you please help me use my phone again? Going into download mode didn't work with the flash tool.
As long awaited update begins to be distributed in Poland but it seems to me. So if you're eager as I was, there is a very easy way to install and very simply and without losing its data, in short the MUST HAVE!
So instead of you enquiquinez Flashtool with the TWRP as you could see from everywhere (including xda where I got lost in the mass of information, links ...) and all the trimmings, it is very easily possible, installing marshmallow and a click!
In short, chat truce.

Installation​
Obviously, it is essential that you are already on the Stock ROM and without ROOT without these two parameters, LG PCSuite will not detect new updates !!!
1- Select your model provides the link above and download LG PC Suite. Finally install it.
2- Once installed, open LG PC Suite and connect your PC to the LG G3
3- Make sure that the software detects your smartphone. If it is good, proceed to the next step. Otherwise, go on your G3, and verify that the MTP is selected for the software to access your smartphone data.
4- Now we are, bah left, tap "'Check Updates" on LG PCSuite on the home page (main page) and after two minutes the software will suggest D85530B - M ( or something similar if you were already on lollipop ). This update (MAJ) actually corresponds to Marshmallow, so it is gone, there is more to!
5- Install following information while selecting 'Do not make backup ", no worries, you will not lose any data! (Tested by myself) and wait while downloading (actually a .kdz file 1 , 2GB will be downloaded).
6- Finally, at the end of the download, you will see the G3 automatically entered into Download mode, before rebooting, etc ... then you start on Marshmallow . Wait a little first restart (personally, I had 75 applications that would update during the first startup.)
7- The last step in finalizing the installation, you will see on LG PCSuite "Continue upgrading" only continue doing that in the G3 arrives on the home page (the launcher what) then without restarted, it will solve the problem with the Google play services ...
8- So, just enjoy the new version!

Can't update that way. Download the .kdz and use LG Flash tool 2014 and select cse mode (you will lose all data) so make a backup to PC or xternal SD card beforehand if you want to. You can download the .kdz from here XDA LG general thread LG G3 Android marshmallow discussions.

I recently got an H873 LG G6 but it looks like the oreo update for it has still not shown up. I read online that this model received the oreo update a while back (a few months ago).
I tried using the LG USB Bridge software but it gives me an error.

Note that I have installed the PC drivers. ADB works just fine. USB Debugging is enabled.
Can anyone help me out here?

Wrong thread, please move it to Q&A.
Your lg bridge is outdated.Go to settings and update version.Same happened to me.After lg bridge update reboot computer and open bridge again.Should work now
