Hi Guys. I am a small developer and am trying to make a group that can help me. my roms are based upon cm and paranoid. and i need help. i am looking for developers with knowledge of creating a rom and testers with different devices like lg g2 or samsung galaxy s4 or samsung galaxy tab and all that

hey dude ...
porting means creating roms for other devices eg...
suppose officially PA team makes rom for s3 ok then it doesnot make rom for s2..
then u can download PA source and u can manually build PA for s2 by adding kernel and device files...
this is called porting...

I'd like to porting PA too to my device
Hi I have a chinese tablet and I'd like to start porting paranoid android to this device, what do I need it for?
Tablet is onda v971t v7 dual core 1.5GHZ anlogic cortex a9 1gb 16gb, please someone to point me to download PA as my base, what I need else then to port the rom. it use a amlogic chipsex the mx I think. some help will be appreciated to this noob (very one indeed)

if u have the device specific code(like kernel source and it varies device to device) for your device then u can surely build rom for yourself..
first u need to download the PA source code ,,, just follow these steps to download from the below post

this post will also tell you how to add device specific stuff in the PA source code and compile it all together..
Guys can someone plz make Kernels for Android 5.1.1. Currently only Sandy Kernel works. Plz devs make some 64bit Kernels.

They say its universal but it didn't work out for me. Sandy Kernel works with almost all the 5.0> roms.
Plz Devs we need some got Kernels for 64 bit Android 5.1.1....

Actually, I built CM for my personal use only
I can consider it as daily driver, just use Moto Camera for AOSP and other launcher coz Trebuchet launcher is quite laggy. I use Nova Prime launcher.
EDIT: Download here from TeamEOS, it support H variant http://teameos.org/ its an AOSP ROM but based on CM.
Use the drop down menu and search treltexx

Need 1 more help brother .. currently uing rulinglight rom .. problem - finger print not working when i going to finger print tab on setting for regestier finger print gettinge error , and MY baseband became test 1 how to fix it bro ...i posted on there theread but no i respond my question

For AOSP roms, fingerprint, will not work until Android M (hopefully...) which gonna get it embed. So I think that to have it working with a workaround into any AOSP rom for now is quite hard to happen thought..

Sorry bro, but unless someone get stock camera ported to AOSP we can't use it. There is too many libraries used by stock camera that are not embed into the apk itself.. they are also into framework file and other places.. so this is not to happen for now thought..

bro right now using eos team ro . getting very bad battery backup ...do u know how to fix it .. 5.1.1 touchwiz have LOTS LOTS good better battery back than eos rom

Hi devs i notice there aren't any 64 - bit kernels for Redmi 2/prime. I realise we have 64 bit roms now (like pirej's) so i would like to request for a 64 bit kernel for our redmi 2.

It's not that simple to make a kernel, there's alot of headaches when we need to add some features, also, redmi 2 1gb dosn't run great on 64bit OS (At least my variant). I only build kernels for the most optimized rom for my device, that in this case is: AOSP 8.0.0.
If you have a 1gb redmi 2 I would recommend you to switch to AOSP 8.0.0 for a while, but if you have the 2gb variant it's better to use a 64bit rom.

There are no 64bit roms either, without rom there is no need for the kernel..
I really dont know why no one makes 64 rom..??
As far as i know.. only @s.sawrav made some test builds, but i dont know why he abandoned it too..

yeah but my experience with it was not so great which was why I posted this thread. but thanks anyway, I'm using s.sawrav's AOSP 8.0.0 now, runs great for an experimental rom:fingers-crossed: maybe expect kernel for 8.0.0 sometime.

I think what pirej mean is there are too few 64 bit, and only a few user use it, so only a little demand. Sorry for my bad English
