Hello,
my Lenovo vibe p1m phone's display got broken so i dismantled the phone and took cpu board out of it. There is a red LED which flashes when i power the device with micro usb so i think
there is a way how to utilize it (As NAS for example). I would need some HDMI connector to be able to replace broken display.
Does anybody know what parts exavtly would i need to make it work?

dont think you can buy one on its own, you have to buy the entire LCD assembly to replace it.
I suggest looking for dead XDA mini's and taking the cable off that.

Probably I have the same problem. I'm looking for a possibility to extend the existing flex connection between display and mainboard. Why? I'd like to separate the display and assemble it separately from the mainboard.
My search for a possibility to enhance the flex cable was not successful till now but I have 2 links which could be helpful probably.

Wow, your links are very interesting! But an extension cable could only be built by industrial machines because you can't mold the little contacts by yourself. I haven't heard of a cable like this being produced.
The only way to show the display on an other screen I think would be to use one of the applications that let you control the pda from a connected pc. A little tabletop pc would be pretty cool for this...

OKay I have a wizard with a Broken Power/mini-USB port and one with a broken screen would it be eaiser to replace the USB port or the screen?
I don't have an issue doing it I replace the screens on laptops all the time this can't be much harder.
Anyone got an exploded view so I can figure out which way to go or know where I can get what looks like a t2 Torx (maybe smaller)
i would say.. replace the mother board... there's one connector from keyboard and one for screen, that's it i think...

Be careful when you remove the top of the case where the power switch is. It's easy to break the little switch soldered to the motherboard. (not that I've done it or anything )
while my prophet was bieng disassembled the two cables connecting the motherboard were torn .not completely but a piece of them ....now all i can c on the display is white screen with greyish centre along with lines
so can anyone suggest me a way to fix it.............

i finally somehow fix my prophet ....n there is a new problem
with a failed flash with 3 coloured screen my prophet shuts itself down n when i try to turn it on again it just not turns on again ...........i tried to charge the battery but nothin happened .......just suggest me a way so that i can recover my prophet ..........

I have same problem. How did you fix it?
two cable connecting to the board? where? can be specific?
just only 1 cable connect with board (speaker cable)
and 2 flex ribbon connect with board (LCD ribbon and keypad ribbon)

You'll probably have a lot of trouble getting that back on, are you rooted?
youll have to replace the entire main flex cable the power button is attached to.

Hi, im having an issue with my voyo a 1 mini tablet f version i can't always get display output/hdmi 90% of the time, meaning i turn it on and off and then it may work and then later it won't work (display). The little white led is on though. I did mess around with the insides of the tablet and maybe i didn't secure the cables correctly, was wondering if anybody would know about this or post pictures of what the inside looks like secured cables and so on. Thanks in advance.!
