[Help] [Question] Which ROM of Lollipop is stable without lags? - Lenovo A6000/Plus Questions & Answers

Hello guys, im a n00b but yet i carry great intrest in android, recently switched from iphone to a6000 - so which ROM of A6000 model is stable the most in your opinion and in lollipop. I have tried cyanogen 12.1 (both 32bit by ED-300 and 64bit by satagass or uber_dimion) with kernel of Telo however after opening a few apps my phone freezes and screen goes black and its a complete overkill for a tech savy, so can you please give suggestions of which rom with which kernel is best compatible and any other tweaks i may be missing out on. Also is there a way to disable autostart apps that run such as facebook messenger when you fresh boot the phone. Thanks in advance =) Cheers :good:

Im currently using CM 12.1 by ED300 with Phantom Kernel, rom is very stable and minimal lag. I think its one of the best roms for A6000 including MIUI 7 (russian build)

If you want extreme battery life, try CM11 with chappil's MoStock Kernel. But, I would suggest MIUI7 Russian Build with weekly updates. It has good battery life for everyday use and doesn't have any lags. Also, it has beautiful UI and you can apply a no. of themes from the MIUI store. And, it has USB Fast Charging and OC included in its stock Kernel. Other kernels like GoD's Kernel and Phantom Kernel works with it too, and has no bugs. :fingers-crossed: :silly:

One thing I can say about this forum we are blessed with a number of outstanding Dev's , so when it comes to custom roms you have a great selection to choose from.
One thing I do recommend to use for good battery life etc. is
ComaDose A Collection Of The Best, By The Best
hope this helps mate.
I'm really happy with the battery consumption with the Echoe's 4.4 v1 Slim version.
Using it with a 4.2.2 MGA knox free bootloader , faux kernel and MKE modem. No random reboots since i started using it a week ago.

Stable Rom for 9505

Hi all,
I'm new on the S4.. I currently use the optimized CM version based on 5.1.1 but I'm not happy with it.. Too many bugs.. I just want to ask you which is currently the best stable rom for my device.. Of course I know that Marshmallow isn't stable.. So I'm looking for a good 5.X rom..
Thanks!
[jflte] gpe 5.0
Does it have a good battery drain? I don't find anything about it in the thread ..
I'm using AOSP 6.0.1 from JDCTeam and I'm absolutely happy with it. I never had any problem with it. Before I used various 5.x ROMS and had problems over problems.
Hope I could help you (even if it's not 5.x)
Both CM 12.1 snapshot and current CM13 nightly are quite stable. So if your phone has bugs running these ROMs, chances are you did something wrong or it is hardware problem.
Optimised CM by JDC is a great rom but since there are too many tweaks / mods in this rom, stability is quite subjective. If you want stable rom, go for stock CM.

(I don't have enough posts yet to post links, otherwise I'd have posted it for you).

Official RR Nougat But no usb first charge
Try out RR 5.7 one of the best
AICP has the best battery backup with its stock kernel (so far). I easily get 5+ hours of SOT. With 4G, it's about 4 hours.
Lineage os and xperience rom is best nougat roms in all respects.

I assume you are new to the S5 forum?
The CM13 thread (with a bit of scrolling, or even better using google) is in the unified development section. Please do take time to read carefully (a bit of search required) so that you choose the latest unofficial by haggertk as CM13 development is inactive.
Resurrection remix is a good rom
I cannot find aswell that amazing cm13 klte rom that everybody Talks about...
And i know how to use google!
Ive tried the lineage 13 and it was very bad... Random restart and stuff

I'm on the latest 6.0.1 Resurrection (Nougat doesn't seem to be a good choice for daily driver for me (I need the camera))... I did not find anything on it, but Ambient Display doesn't seem to work. Do you know a release that has it working?

The nougat release is fine. There's a kernel you flash that fixes the camera reboot issue called smart pack kernel klte lite, I installed that and the phone stopped resettng. Crdroid I was really enjoying also, its very fast and smooth
@godkingofcanada
The latest LineageOS and RR builds have camera working like normal again. Previous builds had this issue, some ROMs that haven't been updated with the latest fixes will still have this issue though.

And as @georgeiulian89 suggested: stock rom
Your question suggests me you're new and don't understand some basics(no offense) hence please do some reading why something is causing battery drain and don't switch the rom.
Ressurection Remix is the most stable rom for this device and never had problems with it.

Chill down, it's only the battery led option It lights the led when the battery goes under 15%, you can disable it from LED options. And I strongly suggest you that you give RR a chance, many users including me believe that it is the best ROM for this device. Good luck!

I'm looking for a good rom for my Moto g4 XT1625 and users mention some issues for example this is the latest post on the RR thread.
Is there no ROM that just works?
The OREO roms can not be considered stable, you will have to choose between a big problem or a small problem.
Do you want a rom that WORKS? (With exceptions)
0. Stock ROM. (Very stable, with no special feature)
1. LOS 15.1 (Some bugs, low features)
2. Havoc-OS. (Some bugs, but many features)

Actually, if you can live with out root, give Omni a try. Apart from some random reboots, everything is smooth. Though I wouldn't recommend rooting since it has impact on the performance, it seems.

Check the rom threads, it's stated in the first posts. Los have at least features compared to most of the other roms cause most roms are based on Los.
7.1.2 aokp, 8.1 omni
The Most Stable Nougat 7.1.2 rom right now is AOKP. AFAIK this is the only Nougat rom that is still updated with security patches. AOKP is smooth and lag-free, and it has lots of useful features and customization.
Every Oreo rom right now is buggy, and will remain buggy until Lenovorola pushes Oreo ota to g4 plus. Most stable Oreo 8.1 rom right now is OMNI. Only 8.1 rom with selinux enforcing and wihtout su binary built-in to my knowledge, which allows banking and payments apps to be registered on the device. OMNI has some unique features too and it is updated regularly on nightly builds.
Dot is is best
