My screen display time will not stay on the time I set for it. In other words if I set it for my screen to stay on for three minutes after awhile it always reverts back and somehow switches back to the fifteen second setting.

Is there any way to adjust the timeout? These drive me crazy. Mine stay on for about 3 sec. I've figured out if I touch the screen first they'll come back alive but that's annoying. Most of the time I'm just stabbing in the dark and almost always miss the button on the first try. It would be nice if you could either adjust the time or they stayed on as long as the screen was on or even had a toggle to make that an option. Thanks!
Is there a setting or a way to keep the screen on without having to tap the screen every 10 minutes?
I've tried four different ICS ROMs, and in each one the screen always blacks out at 10 minutes of idle time. It doesn't even matter if I set the display sleep to 30 minutes. At least it's easy to wake up. Just need to tap the screen. But when I'm running on the treadmill watching a video with my tablet just out of reach, it's not so easy to tap the screen. I've tried several apps that keep the screen on, but they don't seem to work.

Make sure in the ROM settings you have it so that it won't turn the screen off on idle
Hello. I have SM-T535 with 5.0.2 official firmware, non-rooted. Is there any options to increase time that screen is on, when lock screen is visible?
Now when I have screen locked and when I change user, then sreen turns itself off like 2 seconds. Need to push power again to get another user login visible again. Every time. Also lock screen time is too short for my user profile too. I'v set screen on time to 2 minutes (without a lock screen), but I cannot find if it's possible to adjust time on when screen locked. Now it turns itself off too fast
Anyone noticed that screen out automatically changes fro 15sec to 2min? It's kind of annoying. Every time I need to change back to 15sec.

My screen always cuts off after being idle for around 10-15 seconds. It doesn't matter what I set the timeout to, it cuts off if I don't touch the screen for 10 seconds, even when I'm moving the phone around! The only fix I found was to enable caffeine, which is annoying when my screen accidentally turns on and never shuts back off unless I manually turn it off (like when my phone is in my pocket or a bag and I don't notice the screen is on). Does anybody know what to do? I already tried resetting and that didn't work.
