LTE to 1x during calls - Verizon HTC 10 Questions & Answers

everytime i'm accept or make a call, my LTE signal becomes 1x and the data is unusable. i tried to enable advanced calling but that did not fix it.

It won't work without advanced calling. That's the problem. This device only has a single radio...like almost all new phones.

I had that same issue at least once already. 100% stock s-on locked here. There's definitely some bugs on this stock rom.

Check your Verizon account online, when I did it I had to enable it there as well.

Just noticed that hd voice and video calling is grayed out again. Tried rebooting but it won't come back. Checked Verizon feature settings and it's enabled.

The only times I have had this happen i was in a bad reception spot and the phone knew volte was a no go. To get it back once in a better spot I had to reboot.

You have the US unlocked version htc 10 and using it on Verizon? And you're saying that LTE works during call for you?

I don't know why, but androidify doesn't work for me... I can only see the arms and eyes! I cant see the avatar I'm creating!!! It's making me so mad

- Uninstalled/Reinstalled
- Rebooted

- Tried a different kernel!

if you have rom toolbox pro it also has an ad blocker...go in it and select unblock ads. if u dont have rom toolbox pro, then im stumped too.

Mine never moved. I had to flash a different ROM altogether to even get the little guy to even show up, but once he did he never even blinked.

I just got this phone and haven't played with development yet. But I assume it works like on the S4. Editing your build.prop to match the model variant you want the icons from works.

It works, Look for your build.prop file.../ system/build.prop; I used Root Explorer, Select the "Mount R/W" button at the top. The "r/o" to the left of the button should change to "r/w" and Long press build.prop and "Open in Text Editor", and I followed the directions below outlined; good to go. The key is to ensure you are not in read only while editing or it will not take...

I was unable to find this line (ro.build.target_operator) in the build prop in both my G2 and mi GF's G2...

Yep... it was set to TMO, and T Mobile has a pretty sweet 4G LTE icon, but no dice, same dull 4G icon remained, even after changin it to ATT

Shutter sound

Hi,
im getting mad with my edge+... why can´t i mute the camera shutter sound off?
No option to disable...even with the phone on mute still makes the sound.
Tried safe mode and still!
Help pls
Try third-party apps, like Silent Camera, i'm using it now

That's weird. When I open the stock camera and go to settings, the option to turn off the shutter sound is right there.. wonder why you don't have that option.

No sorry no sarcasm. I just meant the bubble text font, the two fonts was from the google play store trying to predict what I'm searching for.

Nope bone stock other than twrp recovery
Flashing a clean unrooted Marshmallow zip fixed it! must've been something wrong with my system files while updating
Dang, it looks like I'm too late.
This looks like it was caused by setting "High contrast text" in the accessibility settings. Give it a whirl if you please, and see if that was indeed what had happened.

It's wonderful to have this feature
upload an APK, lets see if it works on my VS988.
With all the Net based apps I'm surprised this was included. It's nice to have, but I'm rarely listening to FM radio.

The APK isn't gonna help unless the radio in your device is unlocked. All Qualcomm chips have FM built in, manufacturers/carriers disable it by default.
