[FULLY WORKING!][TESTED][XPOSED MOD]Android N SystemUI For Xperia Z2 - Xperia Z2 General

Hey everyone. I have found a Xposed Module that gives you all the featires from Android N...And More!
I have tested this on my Xperia Z2, and should work on all Rooted Xperia Z2 Devices, UB & LB, .487, .570, & .575 firmware. All you will need is any Recovery (TWRP, PHILZ, CWM) and that's it!
How to install?
MOD EDIT: RMOVED
Only download the Android N-ify apk if you already have Xposed framework fully installed! If you already have the framework installed, then don't follow these steps below. Instead, just install Android N-ify apk as normal, apply in Xposed Framwork, and Reboot!
Steps...
1: Install the Xposed installer apk as normal.
2: Reboot into any Recovery and flash the Xposed installer zip.
3: After Reboot, install Android n-ify apk as normal.
4: Apply the Android N-ify module in Xposed Framework app
5: Reboot again and your done!
Note: To have Android L/M/N Vanilla Softkeys, then please download the Xstana app and use that, or apply a Marshmallow theme in your Xperia's Theme Manager.
I will update stable Android N-ify updates for the Z2 to my Mediafire folder, so only use them from my link to ensure fully working ones!
Be sure to hit that Thanks button if this worked for you!

Any chance of it working on cm12?

Z2 on 570, UB and deoxed. "System UI unresponsive" on normal boot and safe mode. Had to flash back the Xperia X UI I was using, thankfully my ROM isn't corrupted! I'll try manually moving SystemUI and setting permission.

Tested on FW .575 on my Xperia Z2 D6503 and it does not work... as a matter of fact i doesnt seem to do anything.

contain files are not deodexed. so this might give issue to deodex stock roms i guess.

Him again..
Sorry but guys but that doesn't seem legit, as with the magical N port...
Odexed files = IMHO that guy have just took from Z3 N system and publish that here.
I don't think it's possible at all.
Proper screeshots with that thread in background or it didn't happened.

And - lol - I haven't seen all OP = working on unlocked BL, not LB, for a non kernel part = LAWL !

It didn't work on my Xperia Z2 LB D6502. MM.570

Hey Brandon, alright I was not sure if it'll work for a deoxed rom. So I tried flashing and moving SystemUI manually (I've done this many times so I know I've set the permissions properly), but SystemUi still doesn't load. Not sure because it's oxed only or what.
I have a D6503 on 570, deoxed with root and SuperUserMod, no Xposed.
Would appreciate a reply, thanks.

Ok sorry about that. I'll see if I can deodex the systemui.apk, but while I do that, try to install xposed installer then see if it works. Thanks in advance.

Seriously ??? Xposed ???????
Wow.
Stop me guys, the bull****t is to big.
So, Brandon, please share with details which files you have modded in system ui exactly to get that amazing result, like a full port of N quicksettings mechanisms... + without deodexing it !

got a little excited when read the title and now fly away with disappointment :crying:

Please stop what you are think you are doing right now
First of all if you're trying to port android development this is not the right thread
And if you're really trying to port something without much development experience then you must test it a lot and with different devices before you say (no problems at all) and ask for help from experienced devs which I really believe this is the case and this is just a big troll
Moderators should really close these threads at once at least until he learn how to do things ?

@Brandon Nel,
If u have really ported this then make a video and post it here.

I can 100% guarantee that OP will never be able to provide conclusive proof that this works. The screenshot he sent is the easiest trick in the book. All you have to do to change model number is edit the build prop file. Expect OP's next replies to be defensive as opposed to fulfilling the proof we ask for. Guaranteed.

you flash the zip using cwm then every thing will be fine
Well, I installed the theme fixer and it worked with a theme I downloaded the apk. However, if I open Sony Select to get more themes, it'll redirect me to play store, which will say "this item isn't compatible with your device". Is there a way to get the themes from play store instead of searching the apk elsewhere to sideload?
EDIT: nevermind, clearing Play Store Cache after installing the fix allowed me to download themes...
Same problem cannot install themes , and my device has a locked bootloader hence I can't use CWM what is the solution ???

You need root, then you can manually move the files to the correct folders or flash the ZIP using Flash Gordon...
I do have root - thanks to your tutorial - on my Xperia M Dual C2005 4.3 and I did move the files into respective folders using ESFile with root permissions and rebooted the device and still when I try to install any theme the same error occurs
What did I mess ?
-- Edit: I installed flash gordon and it told me the zip file is not flashable ??
-- Edit 2 : I unchecked the safemode checkbox and tried to flash the file and rebooted still cannot download themes from playstore ??

But for that it is mentioned that we need a base rom of the device... whereas all we have to work with are stock kdz firmwares... What to do??
Stock is the base rom. And if you have stock rom. Then just edit the firmware app and blast that rom in the becice to fire the hell out of it and remember.
Dont ever try changing the partitions.
Just that

So.
Make a cwm backup of rom and there you will have original boot.img.
And about rom changing.
1- apps (dont touch systemui and framework).
2- fonts.
3- audio.
4- boot animations.
5- sys/class device hardware properties.
6- build.prop(only edit if you know).
Ask me if anywhere stuck on kitchen or anything.
Do have a backup of the device which is flashable through recovery ok.

Yes zipaling all apps but deodex all apps except systemui and framework res folder ok.
Those apps are found unstable on deodexing and often give fc's.
And second to change hardware's properties yo have to find location.
/sys/classes/ and inside there there are all your hardware. Change them if you are confident about what you are doing.
You can read my guide about how to change torch light brightness. I will give you an startup example.

So should I deodex one-by-one?? there are in all 77 apps ...
But If you say so i will do that... I have decided not to change the hardware properties for now... If this project is successful i can add more in next update.
Also how do i customize the rom to make it look like lollipop?? I use xposed for tinted bars, and xstana for navigation bar but I would like to use any other option to directly add in the rom... and more than the tinted status bar.
And what about the boot.img? Is it fine if a fake one is added now and later it is removed??
Also link for your guide please??
Thanks!

Xposed for 5.1 works perfectly on 5.0.2
Tested myself and is 100% flawless.
No need to clear caches to have a normal boot, no bootloops, not even one FC, no errors at all.
IMPORTANT.
Just do a soft reboot after installing Xposed and modules. Do not make a normal reboot, the first reboot should be a soft one.
That's it.
And do not worry if the system hangs a few seconds after restarting from recovery when you flash Xposed Framework.
Do not turn off the device, wait and it will start to upgrade the apps.
Then do what I already said. Install Xposed the apk, activate modules, soft reboot and enjoy.

it's really weird, there are a few scratches, but it also has some...spots? Like the silver finish is fading away in some small places.

I didn't, trust me on this one.
And ofcourse ''may be'' is the key phrase. Nothing is sure until is sure. True?
But chances are that it will be there.
And also not everyone will have it, since it will be released per regions | carriers.
A magnetic cable in the box would have made things easier

Hi all. I just received this case and it is way heavy.... This post is also picture heavy. I apologize in advance for modem fires.
I am PRO cases when it comes to phones made if glass. So if it doesn't bother you, use it. Also put a tempered glass screen protector on it.

I'd like to discuss disused functionality such as the new camera api which provides for raw mode photos but which sony has neither supported with lollipop not stated whether or not it'll appear in a future update.

@rovo89 Look into this, man.

Lots o beer... and I wanted to have you post in the thread:good:

[TESTERS ONLY!][VOLUNTEERS NEEDED!]Project Android N For Xperia Z2

Hey everyone. It seem like on the General forum of the Android N ROM for the Z2 has been closed due to the overwhelming complaints about the ROM not working. So that thread remains closed until we got a working Android N ROM for the Z2!
My story...
I have been working on an Android N ROM for the Z2 since April, with success but then failure. The ROM was working on my phone but after I rebooted my phone, I got into a massive Bootloop, forcing myself to reset everything and losing the Android N ROM file on my phone. I had to downgrade to 6.0.1 again. Now I have tried again to revive the ROM, but with 4 or 5 attempts, I have failed every time. The first time it worked, I followed a ROM porting guide from somewhere on XDA, but now I have forgotten which one it was! So for now, I have closed that thread in the General forum and decided to open a new one here. Now I'm making Android N builds for the Z2 until one works, and I want as much people who would want to volunteer and help me remake and test this ROM as possible.
I will post the ROM builds here, but before I do, I need some volunteers to test and help me on this Project. All helpers will be in the credits of this Post, the original post, and in the ROM's updater-script credits.
What do I need to be a helper and tester?
To be a tester and helper you need to...
-Always be helpful.
-Be aware of certain device bricks.
-Somewhat help editing the files in the ROM to fix it.
-Use your PC to port some files or kernels.
-Have some experience with ROMS.
I will also need help with ROM link mirroring. If you want to mirror the final ROM links to other websites such as Dropbox or Drive, then you should have a strong internet connection at least. :fingers-crossed:
So let us all come together and port the Android N ROM to the Xperia Z2 and maybe later port it to other Sony devices...(Z, Z1, Z1C, ZU, ZT, Z2T, Z3+, Z5 etc.)
All volunteers should please send me a PM or comment down below, and when I have at least 5 volunteers, then we can start porting. Thanks a lot, all proud XDA members!

UPDATE JUNE 16 2016. We need one more person to use their PC to Port some files. I will provide tutorials so don't worry. Just PM or comment down below if you will thankfully port some files. Again, I will tell you what to port and how to do it.
Volunteers we have so far:
-Stipi69
-Mostafa Sherif
-hiredantispammer
-vbajs
Here he is again, good luck

I have a free 50 GB could on Mega, so I can!
Note :- if any builds reaching the 50 GB limit then the oldest build will be deleted from my could and no longer online, that's all
For more info, PM Me
Hey everybody. Thanks for volunteering but I would also need some people helping me to develop the ROM as well! For all people wanting to mirror, I really appreciate your help.

Thanks so much. You don't need to download the entire rom though. Just download the boot.img from this link: https://www.mediafire.com/folder/49i9d0n2d8mm7/Project Android N For Xperia Z2
