Try to download the carrier settings for MMS and Internet. This can be accessed into config -> more menu. Do this with wifi. Worked for me.

Thank you alot sir, must I wipe data?, It will be really painful to backup all these applications and data then restoring them, especially I don't have titanium backup pro.

Yes, wipe data required, but you can make a backup the data in TWRP and after flashing pre-root restore data

I've wiped every thing, then flashed via TWRP, then the su app is saying that I don't have the su binary, and of course I'm not able to boot into recovery any more, that's a huge problem for me and it requires a lot of time to fix everything again.

Hi. I installed the rom this morning and everything working fine except recovery. How can I access it? I can't find any ndr tool or something similar, if I do reboot recovery via console as root it just reboots normally. Any advice, am I doing something wrong?
Edit: okay I just understood there is still no working recovery for us that have locked bl, my bad

Recovery on locked bl works just fine.
1. Wipe system, data, cache and dalvik. Then flash this rom. Yes, this way you will lose everything you have on your phone but recovery should work fine.
2. Find the workaround how to fix incorrect TWRP recovery upgrade. Must be mentioned in another thread.

Please be more specific... Do you mean you wiped all (Cache+Dalvik+System+Data+data/media) ? Or just regular Cache+Dalvik+System+Data ? I have everything on PC for safety...
Thanks

How about bootloader? Do I need to reflash 4.2 bootloader before going back to my 4.2.2 backup TWRP? I am satisfied with the 4.3 but want to downgrade because of some applications compatibility

Impossible to update my One Plus 2 (A2001) to Oxygen 2.1.1 (Bootloop)

Hello, guys! I've a strange problem on my OP2 (A2001).
The new update seems impossible to install on my phone, i've tried all the guides that i've found online, but nothing, everytime is a bootloop. I've tried installing the full rom 2.1.1 in twrp, after that i've tried the full rom 2.1.0 with the ota package, so i've tried the same two things unrooting my phone and with stock recovery. The only way to boot my phone is to install the version 2.1.0.
The last solution that i've not tried is to wipe even data partition instead only system, cache and dalvik.
Someone has the same problem? Have you found a solution?
Thank you

My upgrade sequence
1) copy 2.1.0 full file (1.1 gb) and the ota update file 44mb file to device
2) like always, take a nandroid backup
3) Dont wipe anything. Add 2.1.0 zip + 2.1.1 ota zip + supersu 2.49 zip to flash queue and flash them all together.
4) wipe caches. Reboot.
It worked for me and retained all my data.
All the best. :good:

Comrades, from whom the firmware ENCommon make a backup copy and lay out, everyone will be very grateful to you.
You need a backup e.g. made by TWRP? Stock, global rom?

Hello to all happy holiday
who can throw me a backup modem zte z17

can't wipe data partition

So, I tried installing the Note 8 port and now I can't seem to wipe the data partition. I have used every available version of TWRP with the same results. it won't mount the data partition.
from inside android doing a factory reset just restarts and nothing has been wiped.
I also lost root during this process and cant seem to get it back. I have a 935F/DS but the build number says N950F

I have done all of that already to no avail. I have also tried flashing stock oreo firmware in Odin but after about 3 seconds it says it is done and nothing has changed. I am starting to think I must have done some irreversible damage to my Data partition. is that possible?

You will have to reroot after. I was Magisk 16.3 and 5.8.3 apk. Then the data fix. I also never update Magisk after its installed.
