I was hoping to flash a new ROM on my new Galaxy S5. I already used XtreStoLite and it had an better overall experience than the stock Touchwiz, but I would really love if there was any other ROM to flash on it. Any tips?
Hi! i can tell you there´s no better rom than XtreStolite. At the time i'm testing the latest version for G900H and it's amazing!! Good luck and if you find something better please let me know!! :good:

Guys i agree that previously our S5 model no(G900H)
Lacked developers support But now it isnt Developers are supporting our model by far.I respect and appreciate all of our devs work (Amtra Somadsul Yash92duster Jonathan Malbert and ofcourse all the supporters behind.Thx for all of ur efforts

At this time i recived my redmi pro yesterday. Which room is better the xiaomi stable original or the version of the developer. One problem is that i noted to much blotware in the original but which is better the xiaomi stable or the version of the developer.
The points that i count is battery and perfomance wich of them do it better??
Im Thinking to upgrade to the xiaomi.eu but the problem is that i dont want to putted at this time because i want to wait a month but it is so better the rom eu than the orginal of xiaomi in battery and perfomance ??
Do you note less lag or better perfomance in general
Those 2 firmware not much lagged in my opinion.
I'm currently using developer rom MIUI 8 7.2.24. Root and install twrp.
Delete chinese factory app using Titanium backup ( to get free space of ram).
Flash TweakOne.zip and TweakTwo.zip in TWRP from other threads, to get more juice.
FLASH Xposed v87 sdk 23 arm64 for MIUI.zip from SolarWarez in TWRP and Install Xposed Installer 3.1.1.apk

I got a used Redmi3s , So im planning to reset the phone completely and use it as a secondary Phone.. MIUI Rom has so many bloatware and im used to CM roms easiness and light weight .. So i had plan to Unlock BootLoader, Flash TRWP and Any Custom ROM .
Now is it worth to Flash Custom ROM as i need a stable rom with battery ?
Or i shuld just root the MIUI and Uninstall almost all Unwanted MIUI apps. My concern is mainly on apps which run on background and use my Internet ...
Hope to read some user reviews on CUSTOM ROM and Stable ROM ...
Custom ROMs are always better than MIUI in terms of battery, speed, updates,etc. But MIUI is what you pay for and stability is always higher. Since you've unlocked the bootloader and have a custom recovery, why not try a custom ROM and then decide.

thanks william.. bt i havent unlocked bootloader or flashed recovery... now when i read many threads says there is always CAMERA problem with custom ROMs. I used to flash roms with minimal gapps only all my device . Thats why i asked..
Anyway after posting the thread i realised there is miui9 developer edition. So planning to Flash via Official Updater ......Any comments on miui9 ?

Miui 9 is fast as advertised. And I believe the camera problem you mentioned must be about google camera or a new ROM which appeared recently. Google camera modded has that new bokeh features now available for our device. As a result, it has trouble with other functionality. But stock camera in custom ROMs have no issue at all. And there is a camera issue in Cosmic OS official which will get fixed in future updates.
Anyways it all comes down to your personal preference- MIUI or Custom ROMs.

Stock rom minus bloatware is better imo. I've been on stock rom minus bloatware for a long time. It's stable, bug free and I don't have to flash new rom every week. Battery life is amazing, 10 hr SOT.

After rooting your phone install titanium backup to delete bloatware. Or you can also try this bloatware removal script

Hi I am Rupesh from India and I have redmi note 4 which has snap dragon octa core processor, 4 GB ram, 64 GB ROM. I am searching best ROM for redmi note 4 and found resurrection.
Previously I have searched a ROM for my lenovo a3000 h tablet and flashed and after that I have faced a number of problems. I have strived up to 7 months to flash stock ROM and finally it worked fine.
At present as I want to flash custom ROM which doesn't trouble me I mean mal functioning, camera not working etc., can you try to suggest best ROM which is suitable for redmi note 4.
Up to now I have used a number of Linux OS's like opensuse, debian, fedora etc., and I have idea on development of software in open source world and release of the os but I don't have any idea on custom ROMs.
May I know which ROM is best among recently updated and which was updated previously.
I think that the ROM which was updated previously I mean old is best than latest because bug fixes are done frequently to old one than latest.
If you think any particular ROM is best and in that latest is best please specify the link to download.
Mainly I use redmi note 4 for listening music and so please specify any ROM Which is best for music.

I have a SM-N900 (Exynos). I want the best lollipop customs rom that is not buggy. less battery draining and can be able to use Magisk manager on it. I try to get Dr. Ketan L24 but there was no link to download the Rom. if you can be able to help with that no problem.
