for all who updated to Android 6.0.1 with an pushed OTA Update. There is currently no way to downgrade and bypass frp lock
If you upgrade without unlocked bootloader, your device will be FRP locked. The not visible OEM-Unlock option is some kind of bug. without it you´re not able to unlock the bootloader and rollback.
You have to wait for a new update or an official rollback file from moto

Possible to downgrade S7 Edge to bypass FRP lock?

Would it be possible to downgrade an S7 Edge to bypass the Gmail lockout issue? It seems there were some steps to get around the activation lock in earlier firmware which has since been patched out.
I would assume once downgraded we should be able to use one of the methods below.

Well I guess that is a banned topic lol
Yes, it is possible. I have done it myself. When you downgrade to the oldest firmware, you'll still follow the instructions given by Progeeksblog post.

That's correct works perfect when you downgrade, bypass then upgrade have done it and it works...
confused.. ey way
You say its possible to downgrade to get by frp lock? But i'm also reading that can't downgrade past ph1 cause of bootloader upgrade. I downgraded to ph1 last night and I couldn't get side sync or thumb drive to pop up. I'm confused. is it even possible to bypass the lock anymore?

There's no need for crossposting, I gave you an answer in the relock bootloader thread.
And opening a new thread didn't help either.
Your on January security patch and you need that firmware to flash or relock your bootloader.
This firmware isn't uploaded anywhere, only the indian build. So stop asking the same question over and over again, YOU CAN'T DOWNGRADE YOUR BOOTLOADER, IT WILL BRICK YOUR DEVICE.
So you have to live with an unlocked bl and as I posted to you, there's no need to relock it as you never get the status of 'this device has never been unlocked'. Btw, you never posted the reason why you want to do that.
Anyway, you have to wait until someone uploads your firmware or a newer one.

P8Lite ALE-L21 - Unlock Bootloader

I played with my P8Lite and I managed to f#ck the rom, so I decided that anyway is time to upgrade (I'm planning to go on AOSPA from here https://forum.xda-developers.com/p8lite/development/rom-t3649258 ).
Currently installed: Android 5.0.1 ALE-L211C432B190
What I did:
- downloaded and installed via dload method (b895_update.zip and B896_update.zip)
- now, in fastboot it says Phone Locked. Before, when it was running on previous rom, it was unlocked (i unlocked it).
Problem is that I can't seem to find the website where I can request a new code... the links I found here on xda seem to lead to a broken page.
This is rather urgent, so I'd appreciate any help.
Thanks a lot.
EDIT
For whoever has similar issue:
I contacted HUAWEI Support from here: https://consumer.huawei.com/en/contact-us/
To be safe, I wrote an email and used their Phone Support service. Service was surprisingly great and I got my unlocking number in less than 3 hours since I made my request.
Could you write what did you say to them?
And email address
Thanks

Forget that, that was in April and now they will not provide the unlock code anymore.
To unlock the ALE-L21 you will need to downgrade to android 5.0.0 and then try to root it in order to get the unlock code.

Google Pixel Android P DP2 to 8.1 [Verizon Pixel]

Hi everyone
I recently got a Verizon Pixel and i want to roll back to Android 8.1 Oreo, i am currently on Android P DP2 with a locked bootloader, i've enabled OEM Unlocking (done under Android P DP2) but didn't want to unlock the bootloader! how can i roll back safely! do i need to unlock the bootloader! if my bootloader is unlocked can i lock it back! what are the possible issues/benefits if a bootloader kept unlocked!
Thank you.
Just unenroll from android beta program by visiting android beta website and you will get an ota which will revert you back to android 8.1.0
I've heard that some people who did, got a softbrick after the OTA update! I want to roll back manually.

You have two options then first One sideload the latest ota file of 8.1.0 which is of june. And then wipe your internal storage . For doing this you won't have to unlock your bootloader . And the second One is unlock your bootloader and flash the latest factory image of android 8.1.0.. Backup your data because both will cause you to lose your data.

Thanks for the clarification, I have one more question, do you advise to let my bootloader unlocked or should I lock it back, knowing that I have a Verizon Pixel!

If u are into custom roms or rooting types things and customizing your phone then you should leave it unlocked .. as yours is verizon one you may not be able to unlock it in the future. Otherwise lock it .. ??

Pixel's are finicky as far as relocking the bootloader due to AVB and dm-verity. I highly recommend against relocking these phones unless they are COMPLETELY STOCK. Also if it is a Verizon device you will not be able to unlock it again without using an exploit which is a bit hard to find and a bit scammy

No OEM Unlock button after latest Pie Update 10/01/2019

I have a Verizon Samsung S8 SM-G950U. I want to root it to get a Pixel-like rom. I am new to rooting and am trying to follow step by step directions. I cannot get the OEM Unlock button to show in Developer Options. I have seen the people that say to revert the date backwards, but this does not work. I also do not have the option for " Manually Update". What do I have to do to get past this step? Thank you.

The U/U1 models ( US Snapdragon ) don't have the ability to have the OEM ( bootloader ) unlocked. The ability to root is limited as well as custom ROMs.
Updates on pie in software update now has download and install ( tap to check for update ). If update is available you then have the option to install now or later.
I have a S8 T-mobile S892U using Pie and bootloader ver5. Do It have a abiliti to show OEM unlock or downgrade OS or root ?
I jusst want to root it. I'm trying for 4 days to root it but I coundn't
Sorry for my English.
