Status changed now to open again, very strange
What did they say to u in the email? Usually they hit solved when they passed it on to the engineers and they are trying to work on it.

Hopefully it gets resolved with the next update because it's almost ruins the device. It's not so much lag (although I can understand why that would be used to describe the problem) it's more like the device freezes or judders for a split second, especially during video playback. And it doesn't matter what the codec or source in use is. Youtube videos (with the video fully loaded and buffer free and under normal use.) local files using xvid/h264 codecs in avi/mp4/mkv containers with nearly every player I've used (vlc,mxplayer,archos,bsplayer,wondershare etc.)

If play store would work in 1.5 (purchased apps are market as unpurchased) i would go back to 1.5, since with 2.0 my tablet isnt usable typing a simple E-Mail will cause so many Text failures with this lags (like this: i m pii ssed)

is somebody out there with the same ive got here?!
My device turns totaly random unusable, the responsiveness just died untill i turn the screen off and on again, after this everything runs flawless untill it died again.
I need to turn off and on the screen min. 10 Times a day
Im at the moment on PA 2.799 / Franco.Kernel r18 and ive allready flashed the new binary without any changes.
Is there a problem with my device or is it a Softwareissue?!
I hope somebody could help me

Do a quick test for me mate -
Lock your device
Put a finger somewhere on your device
Unlock the device WHILST YOUR FINGER IS IN PLACE
Do a test to see if that part of your screen is unresponsive
If your screen doesnt respond to the point where your finger was, you have a very well known screen issue.
If this is the case, return.

Yes, if i touch the screen while turning it back on nearly the whole screen doesnt response anymore :,(

Hello,
I have this different problem with my nexus 4. It appears only on specific backrounds i.e. the backround in the contact-application from google / call-history / settings. I tried resetting the software with the factory image but that didn't help. It came up again at the first boot in the configuration-setup. I brought it back to saturn (thats a shop in germany) for warranty now.
My question is, did somebody experience the same or simular issues with their screen?
I attached a photo that I have taken. You cannot see the lines in a screenshoot, what makes me a 100% sure that it is a HW-Issue.
Seriously no one else with that issue?

Hello I own a Touchscreen Monitor (Acer T272HUL). I am considering buying a Shield Android TV box. My questions :
1. Can I use the shield tv with the touchscreen (only, and not together with the remote control)? I heard that Android TV doesnt have on screen buttons for BACK and for HOME.
2. If it doesnt work with the shield (because of Android TV):
Would it work with an Android box as the H96 Pro+ or the Minix U9; does this device support touchscreens like the T272Hul?

After many research in the internet I found many voices that said it does not work Nvidia shield TV with a touchscreen; and (only) some they said, yes it works.
Who is right now? Dis anyone in this forum test it himself and know it for sure ?

I just bought a shield TV 2017 over the weekend and connected it to my Touchscreen Monitor. The touch works, but as I expected there are no possibilities for back and home commands. And the keyboard to enter text doesn't react to touch neither. So after all the combination of the darcy with a touch-Monitor is not practicable with the normal stock android tv .
I hope that there will be once available a tablet mode full Android version to flash. I will discuss this topic further in the lineage os thread

The Problem with the back Key i couldnt solve till now.

I could save the problem with the back key: I installed (sideloaded) the programme navigation bar. This displays virtual home and back buttons on the screen.
No my android tv on my touch monitor is fully operable and works like a big tablet .

Hi,
With one of the latest updates I got three notifications about I could set up timer, wake up and something else. The icon looks little bit like Alexa but I am not sure. How can I get rid of them, I am not even using Alexa at all.

Hi Christian,
I'm experiencing these notifications too. I think the third one is shopping list. I imagine these are just the result of Amazon developer sloppiness/a rush to get the latest release out the door and that they will be patched/fixed sometime in the near future. They are pretty annoying, especially because I've noticed they aren't easy to dismiss.
