I'm trying various thingsto get this stylo to work, not sure whether it's ZV5 or ZV7, I got the ZV8 update zip, that fails, and I get Secure Device/Unsecure Image when I try to flash .tots with LGUP. The friend that gave the phone to me claims it had MM/6.0 when he bricked it, but it reads off as LS770ZV5 under the version tab in LGUP. I've tried the Official ZV4 and ZV5 unbrick guides, having both hang and just stay at the flashing stage indefinitely, and I'm not sure what else to do. I just want to fix the thing, it's giving me an anxiety breakdown by existing.

Never Mind. Apparently the tools I was using to attempt to fix it were corrupt, as I reinstalled LGUP and the custom drivers, and tried flashing the ZV7 .tot again, and it worked.

where did you get zv7 tot? im trying to update but im getting error with that little knocked over android. i saw in another thread this is because i tried using kingroot and now i cant get it off. i have to flash stock recovery or something but i dont know how, or where to find zv7 firmware.

I have all the .tot files for this phone. However, I am having difficulties finding working DLL files for LGUP. The ones provided above are not working for me, can anyone help me with this issue? I messed up my wife's LG and would really like to get this working for her birthday tomorrow. Please help!! I will gladly donate once it is verified as working!

Did u try using omnius? That's how I got back to Rogers fw. The other way I got back to stock was bricking my phone and using flash tool. Took me a couple hours to figure out but its doable. I have flashed from x10i to 10a to new 10a and back to original Rogers (but I have bricked my phone a few times, it happens )

Doesn't that cost money?
There are two ways I know of that don't cost anything:
Flash tool
Omnius
Give that money to the dev team instead for accomplishing root.

The country doesn't matter, just flash that version , I know it will get an error and when you boot your phone it will boot loop, but don't just boot your phone, hard reset it first after flashing the rom, you will see an android unpacking a box wait for it to load and I hope your phone will successfully boot

I told you about that in other thread. You must install special soft [.kdz] if you want downgrade soft from v20 to v10. Remember, install firmware only for your model.

Wait, somebody correct me if I'm wrong, but this phone was flashed with a LS980 ROM using flash tool, and in download mode says that is a D805... I mean, you are trying to flash the wrong ROM using flash tool, looks to me...

Try flash kdz firmware Becase TOT method try to fild properties in build.prop "ro.product.model" the model is wrong.

Second, Your phone is a god damn d805. So find a d805 stock rom to flash.

I've heard about this this problem from few people.
Apparently, you can't burn kdz when you got CloudyG3. you need first to go back to one that is based on stock. like CloudyStock or something.
another method: Someone said that he let LG PC-SUITE to identify the model and download the correct Rom, and everything went fine.

I am unlocked, TWRPed, and rooted but would like to restore stock everything. It appears that restoring stock recovery will be the most difficult as Huawei has not released the full firmware image that includes recovery.img. Can someone with stock recovery extract this and post it?
